For a moment, Crispy saw something she rarely saw in her mind..happiness. She forgot about the darkness inside, even if it was just for a little while.
"I just saw.." she said in wonder. "Did you..?" Then she smiled and didn't need to ask the question. She just smiled.
Karra clears his throat, holding the sword out again. "Here is magic longsword, should one want to use it. Not strong, not tall, not useful to me." He looks to the others now that they are awake. "Think maybe be useful. Man in armour maybe part of bad cult. He strong alone. Perhaps if become strong together, maybe strong enough, yes?"
"I don't use such long unwieldy things, Karra. I don't need it." She says, patting her short sword holster on the bed.
She turns back to Ashley. "Maybe tonight, let's spend some more time together. That drink I promised. Get to know each other a bit more? All this adventuring makes me thirsty." She snorts in a quick laugh, giving your hand a quick squeeze.

(Just a heads up, no one has opened up the chest yet, the time is about the 1 pm. And the other mission starts at the tavern in Cresthall with the dragonborn. If Aurelia doesn't answer soon we'll progress as if she has woken up.)
Gasp will take the fancy magic sword.
Karra hands the sword to Gasp. "Hmm, you keep sword, yes?" He says, then looks back to chest. "Hmm, ready to open chest now?"
Yes, I think so Hatt steps up next to Karra, looking with interest at the chest. Go ahead, if you please.
Karra will look over the chest before opening it. (Just passive perception/investigation in case of obvious traps.)
"The anticipation is killing us, Karra." Crispy jokes.
Its a plain chest, good woodwork and sturdy design. No traps connecting outside it or runes upon it.
((Don't let Virst lie to you, that armored man is actually inside of the chest waiting to kill us all LOL))
Bennett walks over to the chest and glances at Gasp and notices the sword. "Awesome sword! Wield it proudly, my friend." He winks and kneels down beside Karra waiting for him to open the chest.

Inside the chest is about 100 gold coins and a few gems.

You spot a few amethysts of small value but the one that catches your eye is the diamond, roughly worth 400 gold.
