This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hatt grins ruefully as Crispy zips past him, ignoring the proffered ranged weapon to get right into the creature's face. Don't ever change, Crispella, he smiles to himself. A moment later, he watches in alarm as Crispy is unable to dodge a bite from the monster. Not quite able to believe what he's doing, he drops the crossbow and rushes up to Crispy's side. Goddess, aid her, he calls out, as he casts Cure Wounds at second level for 19 HP. He tries to keep out of bite range of the turtle, if he can. I think some of her recklessness is rubbing off on me.
Something inside Crispy always told her to completely forgo caution, patience, and subtlety. This was, once again, one of those times. She only knew how to be wild, reckless, dangerous. However, the giant turtle was more dangerous. As it attacked the boat, Crispy leapt to attack back - but the turtle was swift, and took a huge bite out of her side. She saw it coming in slow motion, and there was nothing she could do. She fell back on the boat, and looked at her torso, half of it missing. The pain was indescribable, she tried to scream, but her right lung was ripped to shreds, and she couldn't. Her insides began to leak out of the enormous gaping hole, blood and fluids everywhere. Her hands shook from shock and she could feel shards of bone.
Ashley..i'm sorry.
Then Hatt was on top of her, and in a very strange magical moment, everything was back the way it was - minus a huge tear in her torso armor, revealing her slim muscular midsection. She touched it, not believing her eyes.
"Holy shit." She said, looking at Hatt - a combination of happiness and shock. "You..saved me?" She found it difficult to find the words to say thanks, even though she wanted to with all her heart, but she was still in shock that a moment ago she could see half of her insides. She grabbed Hatt's crossbow and bolts. "I think i'll use these now." She smiled, and the look on her face, Hatt would know for the rest of his life that he had a thankful friend, a protector, and a loyal teammate. "Thanks."
Ashley beams with pride as the ferocity of her beloved Crispy is applied to the beast. Then her expression shift into horror as the creature nearly bites Crispy in half. Before she could shake off the fear and shock, Hatt takes action and is able to put Crispy back togather. With a sight of releaf, she focuses her fear into a weapon and releases a spell to Cause Fear in the monster that nearly killed Crispy.
(You can all go with the exception of crispy since she was first but then revived. Hatt and Crispy are still in turtle range as carrying a body will cost more movement.)
Bennett will raise his hand toward the giant turtle island and use his Hexblade's Curse (+2 to damage rolls, and I crit on a 19 and once it dies I gain 8 HP)) and Hex is still active.
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast on the turtle thing; Attack: 7 Damage: 14
I think Hatt took his turn to revive Crispy, no? If the DM rules that Hatt has a turn at this time, he will disengage from the turtle and run to cover behind the mast.

I’m a constant disapointment to Ashley, so I know how you feel. She’ll get over it, i’ll put in a good word for you, don’t worry. ;)
OOC: Gasp appreciates it!
(Well you all technically have half cover right now, except for Crispy as she went up to slash it. For full cover stand behind the masts.)
The turtle still stands as it crunches down onto the ship's railing. Ominak fires off a firebolt.
Attack: 20 Damage: 23
The turtle looks down at Crispy and tries to bite down onto her.
Attack: 24 Damage: 19
