So you notice that most of the delivery's and workers seem to be entering through the back entrance of the building. Again though, tough looking guards are positioned at those gates.
((Would Erix, as a member of a house, be able to get in early he thinks?))

Actually looking at the rules it would take at least a day to craft a disguise with a disguise kit. Unless someone has some magical way of disguising themselves you could potentially acquire some workperson's clothes. You notice now that there are about 20 workers all loading out of carriages into the manor. They're bringing in tables and chairs and decorations and things. It's a very big job, so if you were to somehow steal their clothes you could possible pass as one of them.
Elero can magically disguise himself, but he wouldn't be very good at stealing clothes. Still, sorting out how to get in with those workers would be our best shot.
Or he could disguise himself, get in, and look for a side door to open, if that's the group's preference.
Haha, that would be a high DC. I think you'd need to come up with a specific plan for how you plan to get the clothes from the workers. Like I said there's quite a few of them so if you wanted to try and lure a few away that could be possible with a DC 15 Deception roll for example. But i'm open to any plan you come up with.
"What if we talk to a couple of them about renting their uniforms for the day? Say, for double what they're getting paid? We could come up with a sob story about how we're a charity outfit who's trying to find work for underprivileged folks or something?"
Elero shrugs. "I could use Disguise Self to appear as one of them and get close, or one of you more persuasive types could try your luck."
You notice a few worker's having their lunch break in a small park over the road behind the manor. If you want to go and roll a DC 15 Persuasion check to take their clothes go for it.
I think Erix wouldn't be the right person, with his dragonmark and all^^ But he does agree with the plan to use workers clothes, he'd like to get in using those aswell to leave his wildshape for when they need to get in certain rooms e.g.

Elero's Deception is +0, but he'll go along an assist someone else in telling the tale, giving them Advantage on the check. And he'll use Guidance on that person, giving them an extra d4, since he finally remembered he has that cantrip. :)
Mark doesn't love this idea because in this way he would be made and the theft could be linked to him if the worker ever talks to the guard or to the house. "What if we lure them away and kill them? Then they can not talk and we can take their clothing with no lose ends. We can make it look like a mugging gone wrong." Mark knows this is morbid, but the dragonmarked are not people you want to make enemies with.
Kit didn’t get the memo and is already dressed like a pompous noble dandy. “I could try that enthrall …” kit stops talking as Mark finally says something worth listening too. “I agree, to save our own arses, let’s lure them away and limit their capacity to snitch.” Kit says euphemistically.

Are you going to try and walk through with the passes?
"We have invites to the party," Elero mutters, "but that's tonight. I thought we were going to try and get in as workers or something this afternoon."
He's going to hang back and not approach the guards yet till we've sorted out our plan.

He could certainly try and talk his way in of course.
Mark will add that we should be in disguises either magical or otherwise, so that no one remembers seeing us here early.
Deception check for my disguise: 22
Do you have a disguise kit?

Mark was thinking he could steal some clothes for everyone but Elero and his Erix. What should I roll to steal workers' clothes?
Off of their bodies? I'll bet that's a high DC. :D

Or Deception if you wish.

Interesting question, how does everyone else feel about this approach?
