Assuming, Mark relays this question Erix suggests to Mome to show the spear to the Orcs, hoping that might be seens as proof of them both being gone.

The orcs all stand there looking shocked up at the group brandishing the Spear. Garund, on the other hand, turns to her sister smiling "Well, it seems you brought a strike force with you Rhodvil. I would have never expected my peaceful sister to travel halfway across Khorvaire with a group of mercenaries to kill my bosses and retrieve me. Well sister? You have the uppoer hand, what would you have me order this tribe to do?" Garund looks at Rhodvil, who in turn looks at you, seeming slightly confused and out of her element.
Mome steps out of the shadows and walks towards the gathering, her head head high and holding the spear up. She attempts to Persuade (13) the orcs to surrender and to tell the group about Anric (Persuade 6).
Mark will echo the sentiment, "We don't want you to have the same fate as your Warchief. You both look like fine Orcs, and you now have a chance for freedom. To really create a life that YOU want and not one that some creepy guy with a stick demands of you. Please relax and let's just have a conversation."
Garund looks from Mome carrying the Spear to Mark and nods "You speak truth, and have proven yourselves as worthy of command through combat. These orcs will listen to you and stand down." Garund turns to the other orcs and tells them what you've said, embellishing a little bit to make you all sound a bit more bloodthirsty than you actually are. The orcs don't like it at first, but eventually back down. They all take a step back, you've successfully deescalated the situation and the outpost of Velkynvelve is now no longer hostile.
Garund looks at you all, "Well, because you all killed the last War Chief, you are technically the one giving orders around here. What to you all need from us?"
Erix steps forward aswell to join the conversation
"First of all, we would like to know where Anric is, the Dragonmarked you kidnapped. Secondly, how much do you know of the plan of those inspired?" he asks, his dragonmark is visible as he isn't actively trying to hide it.

Garund nods, "Anric, perhaps he was the last one taken below, a halfling boy? The Inspired are taking the Dragonmarked down to a city of fish-men they have mastered, called the City of the Glass Pool. I don't know what they are doing with them, but I'm sure it has something to do with their conspiracy of the Dreaming Dark. Anric was escorted down by some of the Inspired's lackeys, a crew led by a necromancer named Shilek." Garund orders the orcs to go back to their stations, and then looks at you again, still expecting some kind of order. Rhodvil asks her sister again to come with her back to their home, but Garund states that this place is their home now, no matter how foul it may seem to others.
Do you have any more questions, or perhaps requests of Garund?
"Shilek,"Zoveldra murmurs, eyes narrowing as she remembers the necromancer. Of course that woman would be working with the Dreaming Dark. "I should have snapped her neck when I had the chance. I will not make that mistake again."

Garund first shrugs at Mark's question, "We are outcasts, thrown out by the Gatekeeper Orcs for following a banned religion. The Bloodfeaster took control and gave us the means to appease our gods, blood sacrifice. Before the Bloodfeaster took control, we would just ritually sacrifice animals and eat them, but once we started killing others in battle, our gods rewarded us with more and more power. Eventually the Dreaming Dark and offered us a lot of gold to deliver Dragonmarked prisoners to them and told us about this outpost below Sharn. Since then we've been locked in this cavern, and it's become our home. I suppose we may just stay here and return to sacrificing animals and the like."
As for Elero's question, Garund laughs. "Safely get down to the City? That is an impossibility, I know not what is between here and there, but I know it is a long way, with many dangers along the path." At this, Rhodvil sighs, "I have some idea of what lies between here and the City. I had Yosgrim make a map for me, he has had some dealings with the Deep Gnomes that live down here. I can give it to you, as I have already found my sister. Although now I find out she wants to stay here, so I may as well head home to the Eldeen Reaches." She hands you a map clearly made by Yosgrim.

Elero will agree with this plan, since he's following the convo via the Helm now.
Mark allows the staff to be shown, but asks that we keep it at a distance.
Mome steps out of the shadows to yell "Hey ya!!" and jab the spear up in the air for everyone to see. She otherwise stays back and silent.

"I think we should enlist their help in rescuing our target and cleaning out the rest of this mess," Elero offers.
"I agree. With the help of locals, perhaps we can end this without more bloodshed."

So who’s going to ask the orcs to surrender?
Mome steps out of the shadows and walks towards the gathering, her head head high and holding the spear up. She attempts to Persuade (13) the orcs to surrender and to tell the group about Anric (Persuade 6).
Zoveldra attempts to move closer to the orcs stealthily as they are distracted by Mome, ready to intervene if they attack her.

Taking all of this in with the Helm, Elero says, "Can you tell us how to get down there safely? Also, we could use your help in defeating them."

Mark will also add, "How did you all get into this nasty business of kidnapping? What did you get out of it?"

She'll also point out at you are currently in the top left of the map.
"Well, some of those routes might be a bit...safer than others," Elero mutters as he reads the map.
