LANDMOP and his spirit attack the trolls, as Erix's animals kill Troll 4. Erix then blows both Troll 4 and Chuztat back into the spears as Zoveldra, Elero and Mark throw attacks at Chuztat. The four armed troll is incredibly hurt, but not yet dead.
Chuztat sees his last Troll paralyzed next to him, and the green pool of mutated blood around him and falls to his knees. "You have defeated me. My head is yours." He hangs his head for you to decapitate if you wish.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
LANDMOP will approach Chuztat and place a hand on one of his many shoulders, feigning mercy, but carrying the magic of the underworld in its fingers. LANDMOP casts what it suspects is the final chill touch on Chuztat.
"Daaaang." Elero will watch the attempt at killing our foe, sort of torn as to how to feel about it. The Protector Cannon will pulse out 9 temp HP to the party, in case the fight isn't over.
Well the fight may not be over. Troll 3 recovers from the Paralysis (and the Poison?) and sees its dead leader on the ground. It then looks over to the pool to the south, seeming like it intends to run over to it.
Bite: (9,21)->21 to hit for 14dmg Constrict: DC14 str save or take 8dmg and be grappled
Elk Ram: (19,11)->19 for 15dmg
While Erix throws a thron whip: CRIT for 13 dmg and no pull.

Seeing the last troll trying to flee, Elero decides it's about time to try out his new spell, if the troll succeeds at freeing itself from the snake. He casts Vortex Warp at 2nd level on the fleeing troll, and will teleport it to a space in between our melee fighters and the pool it's running toward, so it's engaged with our melee fighters, and can't get around them to the pool without taking opportunity attacks. The troll must succeed on a DC 15 CON Save to avoid this.
Now, if the troll's grappled by the snake, Elero will hold off on the spell, and instead shoot with his crossbow.
Light Crossbow attack: 15 to hit and 7 damage.
Either way, the Protector Cannon pulses out 11 temp HP of shielding to the party.
After consecutive blows to the troll from Erix and his animals, as well as being warped into her path by Elero, Zoveldra pounds the last troll into the ground with three focussed strikes. The last of the Slaverer’s and, and the aggressive resident of the Troll Caves, is dead.
First, how do the rest of you feel about LANDMOP’s merciless execution of Chuztat?
And secondly, there are two more exits from this room: the pool to the south-east the last troll was running to, and a this path to the south. Do you keep exploring or do you call it good now the trolls are gone?
Erix doesn't have many feelings about the execution; The troll literally asked for it, and he didn't think the trolls would stop harming other if they stayed alive.
He then suggests to first make sure all is empty, before making camp.

Similarly, Elero was a bit freaked out about the execution, but the troll did ask for it, so it's not as horrible as it could have been. He also thinks we should scout the rest of the immediate area before making camp. He's healthy, but almost out of spell slots, so a Long Rest is probably a good idea before we report our good news to the gnomes.
Or are the gnomes close enough that we could make our way back there, and long rest with them? They'd likely welcome us since we solved their troll problem for them.
He finds two small bodies of water down the two unexplored paths, it’s hard to determine if either have anything within them. Are you all going to do the Long Rest or investigate the water pools or retreat out of the Troll Caves?

"Shall we make camp?" *LANDMOP says too casually after that moment with Chuztat*

It would take half a day of travel to get back to the Gnome Lands. Mark does a quick scout around as your party rogue:
Perception check: 9
He finds two small bodies of water down the two unexplored paths, it’s hard to determine if either have anything within them. Are you all going to do the Long Rest or investigate the water pools or retreat out of the Troll Caves?
Elero can probably keep going, but if others need to rest we can, or retreat. Not sure what might be down those paths.
