So I'd say you can each do one thing in Xanxirite before needing to head to the inn and get a rest. As Elero has shown interest in the Caves of Clatter, I'll describe what he finds there.
This is certainly the workspace for the city complete with two more of the giant stone doors you now know lead to the more dangerous areas of Xanxirite. Blacksmiths and armorers litter the streets smashing away at their work. However, in one corner of the cave you see a raised area, where people work on alchemical and mechanical tinkerings; Artificers. Here Elero quickly spots something very strange: work that looks incredibly similar to that of his friend and mentor Yosgrim, belonging to an old Deep Gnome that immediately notices the handiwork of Elero's various artifices. The Deep Gnome stands up slowly and addresses you in a crackly voice, "Is that the work of my old friend Yosgrim I see? Tell me stranger from the world above, do you have news of my old friend? I am Kazook, head artificer down here in Xanxirite."
Erix wonders if the gnomes have any interesting creatures they keep; so he is mostly on the lookout for some kind of stables; if none are found he'll just join the others in what they want to do.

LANDMOP will head to the cultivation cave with their remaining undead. If possible they'll collect back up to their maximum 4, but otherwise they just want to collect reagents
Elero perks up at the mention of his boss and mentor. "Why, yes, I work for Yosgrim. He's been an incredible teacher to me." He offers the All-Purpose Tool for Kazook's inspection, and then produces his Arcane Firearm. "Yosgrim made that for me, and I recently fashioned this myself, trying to take what he's taught me and expand it from there."
Elero looks around the shop. "You certainly have made some wondrous creations of your own, Kazook." Then he blushes. "Oh, sorry. My name's Elero, by the way. Elero Muhendis. Pleased to meet you."
Zoveldra is interested in gathering information about the gangs in the city, so she will prowl the streets silently and beat it out of any of them she finds.

Erix investigates the creatures and animals in Xanxirite. He finds many domestic Khyber natives like lizards, bats, and insects, but the main beast of burden and interesting case is the Earth Elementals kept by the druid sect The Stoneheart Enclave. These druids, who are led by Nomi who you met before, are finding their job harder and more dangerous as the Earth Elementals either disappear or go crazy and attack them. Although this isn't happening as much as the other incursions into Inner Blingdenstone so seem to be put to the backburner by the Queen and her guard.
LANDMOP finds that the Cultivation Caves have many interesting mushrooms for sale, each for 5gp. Some will increase your senses, and others burst into flame. Other mushrooms glow bright when rubbed and act as torches. These are sold for 1gp as the Deep Gnomes have little use for them due to their darkvision. He does not find any bodies to reconstitute, but does obtain two leads to do with the undead. One is that the Deep Gnomes have a tomb further back toward the Long Path, and LANDMOP even remembers walking past the fork that leads to it: the tomb is off limits to non Deep Gnomes, but likely contain interesting treasure and lore. Additionally, within the city, you often will find ghosts of Deep Gnomes killed by the Drow when they raided Xanxirite and drove the deep gnomes out.
Kazook nods at Elero's work and thinks to himself for a moment, "Seems like Yosgrim has taught you everything I could possibly show you, you're quite talented. You know, if you really want to hone your skill, you might consider heading to Gracklstugh and talking to the Duergar. They aren't much loved by my people, but the duergar make some great tools and could certainly show you a thing or two to increase the efficiency of your work. Probably best off keeping it secret if you do head there, Queen Senni has said anyone who consorts with the duergar are enemies to the deep gnomes."
Zoveldra finds that many in the city are working toward the purpose of rebuilding the place, and few gangs exist within the settlers of Inner Blingdestone. The main source of intrigue comes from stealthy incursions from the Goldwhiskers. The wererats will sneak into the city in their humanoid form, steal information, gems, and other valuables; then sneak out. The only reason people even know of their existence is that sometimes they get stuck in the city during a full moon and are unable to stop themselves reverting into their rat form. When this happens and they're found out, it's always a bloody fight, with multiple guard fatalities. Apparently the Goldwhiskers are descended from the original inhabitants of Xanxirite and despise the settlers of Inner Blingdenstone for having left in the first place, labelling them cowards.
After your day in the city, you head to The Foaming Mug, where you run into someone you know: Jimjar, who you rescued from the Orcish prison of Velkynvelve, is standing behind the bar cleaning glasses, and a huge grin comes over his scarred face as you enter. "Hello friends, I knew you'd make it to the city eventually. Word has got around that you got the trolls, you crazy bastards! Welcome to The Foaming Mug, sit down and I'll pour you a few drinks, on the dime of our wonderful Queen Senni." This last line is delivered with a fair amount of sarcasm.
You can all relax now, maybe swap a few campfire tales, get some more rumors if you want, and take a Long Rest.
LANDMOP will grab 3 sense increase mushrooms and 4 Torchlight ones
He'll then set up at the foaming mug and begin organizing notes and working their spellcraft. He'll broach the subject. "Do you believe they would allow a researcher of life and death into the cemetery? I would love to know their rituals, but I believe they might think me a monster in such a place"
