Elero will marvel at anything resembling a slot machine or a mechanically-aided game of chance, mainly to see if he can figure out how it works, and then he'll head straight to Vilroy, because even though he's a bit more worldly than he was a month ago, he's mainly driven to "get this part over with" so he can help Yosgrim.
He'll be somewhat nonchalant about it, but will walk right up to her and say, "We got your note. What's going on?"
Erix joins Elero in talking to Vilroy while the others watch for troubles.

As Kit fades into the crowd unnoticed, Mark scans the room and doesn’t notice anything untoward.
When you all approach Vilroy, she breaks away for her contemplation and smiles at you. “I’m glad you’ve come, I really didn’t want to ask anyone else to do this thing, it’s too important. Can you come into the back room with me, I’ve got someone back there we need to see.” She motions to a private room at the back of the tavern.
Erix is fine going to the backroom, not yet willing to put Vilroy in the badguy bin.

You all head into the back room with Vilroy, you snatch a glimpse of Kit gambling with a group of old timers and having a great time as you other three enter the private room at the back.
Inside is a small room with a table and chairs, lit my a small window at the back that lets through dusty sunlight onto the wooden planks. Sitting at the table is a person you quickly recognise. Captain Brittle of the Sharn Watch, with his incredibly disfigured body and voice, he watches you all as you walk in. “Please, all of you sit down. I’d rather not be meeting you in a place like this but Vilroy has convinced me this conversation requires an extra layer of privacy.” Vilroy sits down next to Brittle and gestures you all to sit on the other side of the table.
Brittle goes on in his gravely voice, “We’ve finished our interrogation of Garra and learned some interesting information about Daasks upcoming plans. Specifically what they were planning to do with these ancient runes they apparently were looking for under Sharn. But we’ve reached a bit of a standstill.” At this point Brittle hesitates and looks at Vilroy, who nods her head. Brittle sighs and continues, “The Watch requires some outside support, we need you to do a job that borders on the edges of legality. Vilroy trusts you all, and assured me you can pull off a job like this without hurting or ruining anyone. Before I go on, I need to know that you’re willing to do a job like this without unnecessary casualties. Is this something you’re willing to do?” He looks at you seriously.
Mark will respond, "I don't like the sight of blood so I tend not to put myself in those situations. We are good to do a job with minimal issues. But that all comes at a price, we aren't saints." He looks at the Shifter when saying this. "What are you planning to offer us and can you assure us that we will not have any problems from the Watch while we do our business?"
Haha, I believe Kit is still outside gambling with the regulars while the rest of you are in this meeting.
Vilroy looks at you seriously, “This mission is of the utmost importance to the Watch, it is doubly important that it’s done discreetly. From our interrogation of Garra, we found out that Daask were planning on running a heist on the Oriens, who apparently they had been working with, but their usefulness is about to run out. Apparently the Oriens have a magical item that can be used to decode ancient magical runes. But it is under strict lock and key.” Vilroy looks at Brittle, who sighs and nods, “The Watch has decided that instead of warning the Oriens, we will steal the item instead. And we need your help to do it.” Vilroy and Brittle both go quiet, looking at you to judge your response.
"Aha, well," Elero glances at the others, "if there's an item out in the world with that much power, it probably makes sense that the Watch should have it, to, you know, keep it safe. Out of the wrong hands, as it were. What do you two think?"
Brittle pipes back in, recovering from his ethical pain. “Payment is easy, 5000gp, the Watch treasury has quite a lot of funds for covert ops like this. The place is easy as well, we just don’t know the time yet. There’s rumours that the Oriens are setting up for a large party in a few days. Once we have the intel Vilroy will get in touch with further details on the job. We’ll also be able to provide you with any equipment you may need. It is paramount that this job is done, and once again let me stress the importance of discretion.” Brittle gets up to leave, grabbing his cane, “And once again, thank you for this. The Watch will be further in your debt once this is done.” He goes to leave.
Kit’s feeling hot, the excitement, the risk. “This is for Mark’s couch cleaning, come on Lady Luck.” He squeals as he throws a… [kits willing to bet 50gold (a lot currently) on a 50/50 flip. All tjr coin he took out with him this evening.]

Mark nods, and prepares to leave but is very interested in how many “covert” missions the Watch goes on and where did they find all this gold. When he gets a chance he will update his boss about this “reserve” and maybe there is a way to track the Gold and catch the watch red handed in being paid off.
"Sounds exciting," Elero offers as they leave. Then he looks back at the rest. "Maybe we'll have time to help Yosgrim while we're waiting for this party to start."

Mark will say, "I can go talk to Vilroy and get the information from her but first let's case the place to make sure we don't have unwanted guests."
Mark will want to do a perception: 16

He'll look at his companions.
Mark will make a sly look at the others, " Give us a time and place, and of course you have not said what the pay is.

First a roll to see if it lands on a zero. On a 1 the house wins 8
Alright kit roll 1d6 for me. 1-3: you lose. 4-6: you win.
