Beshlog does not know how far he fell, but he did fall far enough that his battle cannot be heard. Emilia, however, can hear the chant of his bladesong through the door and rushes in, joining initiative [Initiative check: 11]
Artan, Ember, & Demetrius are not able to get in AoO on the critter, as it runs away down the hall, right past Ember, who is returning from the stairs.
Ember checks her room, and her gear is still there.
Artan searches Beshlogs room, and finds nothing.

Ember does not manage to find any trapdoor triggers in her room. At least, not any around the trapdoor, the doors, or the walls. She could always break through it, though that would cause a lot of noise.
The Upstairs group are out of Initiative, but Beshlog, the maid, and Emilia are still fighting.

The maid had 12 health! She is struck by the axe, which lops off her arm. As she falls to the ground, the force field of thunder explodes, killing her. Blood seeps out of her ears. Except, it golden, like ichor. Just like the Warp-Beasts
The fog in the bar-room has faded, and the patrons are left looking around, wondering where their quarry has gone.

"HEY BARKEEP!" Ember yells and pauses to make sure she has everyone's attention.
"WHY DO YOU HAVE TRAPDOORS UNDER YOUR BEDS? SEEMS LIKE OUR FRIEND FELL INTO ONE."
She turns to the bar patrons.
"DO ANY OF YOU HAVE LOVED ONES IN THE ROOMS? MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR THEM, TO SEE IF THEY'RE MISSING TOO. WE'LL HELP. ARTAN, DEMETRIUS, KNOCK ON DOORS AND SEE IF ANYONE ANSWERS."
Oh ho! Mwahahaha! This just got a lot more interesting. By the way, we are out of initiative.
Upstairs Scene
The patrons and barkeep turn in unison, unnervingly, at the sound of speech. As if they are all part of some hive mind. They listen to Ember's proclamation, then all begin to laugh in unison. their combined laugh is unnerving the sound fake and forced. Except, they don't look like they're forcing it. In fact, with her keen eyes aware for danger, Ember spots that some of their eyes eem almost pained, tortured even. The laughter cuts off, and they all stand there silently, until the barkeep speaks "Well, the trapdoors are to dispose of unwanted individuals who would disturb our peace. Like you." the last word is snarled, as the barkeep points a finger at Ember, and suddenly, he changes. His skin grows tight over his bones, his form growing taller and becoming more hunched. His face shifts and melds, until it is the face of the man who refused to let you in the wizards tower. His skin is now a pale, sickly grey, and his eyes burn with a glimmering hatred.
Before you can react, the cloaked figure from before appears, the one who was talking to Emilia. With their hand, they pull Ember down the hall, reaching Demetrius and Artan. All of the doors are unlocked, but there is no one in them. "Quick. you must trust me. We have to leave. your friends are still downstairs, we need to get them. The trapdoors will take us." The cloaked figure explains. "Come on!" they fling open a door and franctically begin searching for the lever.
Meanwhile, in the Basement Scene
Emilia and Beshlog are panting from the fight with the wicked maid, whose fists did quite a number on Beshlog. The bodies are littered around the room, all still sleeping. Or at least you hope they are sleeping. The three shoots still lead to Gods knows where.
Artan sees the cloaked figure and Emilia appear, and a torrent of questions come out, "What is going on? Who are you? What are you looking for? Why should we trust you?"
Artan will try move the bed (assuming someone points out where the trapdoor is) and look around the trapdoor to see if there is anything that can be followed back to a lever. 13investigation.

(( Hello, everyone. I'm back from the things that happened this week. The funeral was Wednesday, and I feel that I'm good to continue. ))
Emilia herself was already exhausted from the run, and the battle didn't help her much more. Her magical energy low. Too exhausted to cast any more spells for the moment, she grumbles, takes her quarterstaff off her back, and snaps it. "This damned thing! Bah! Nothing but rubbish, this thing is!" The old staff was worn, anyways. Covered in cracks and a little bit of dried blood from the old fight with the warp beasts. Taking the pieces, she tosses them behind her and makes her way over to the maid's body and inspects it, searching it the best she can for anything vital... and seeing what the deal is with the golden ichor seeping from her ears. (Investigation, if need be. 4)
"You, Beshlog. Wizard. Is this... everything that's down here? Just bodies? Tell me, what did you see. Too busy running from bar patrons to look around, peh..."
"Give me a sec," Beshlog tells Emilia, still catching his breath from a difficult fight. "Hopefully I can find a particularly cunning rodent and throttle the life out of it..."
He inhales deeply, then begins searching the room for anything of interest (investigation: 25! Rolled in game log)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Ember searches around the room, and her eyes are drawn to the wall. It is hollow. But why? A faint skittering can be heard from inside the wall every once in a wall. But before she can investigate further, she looks up and is distracted by the fact she sees a hole in the very top of the wall.
Beshlog and Emilia look around. Emilia does not find anything, too disgusted by the bodies and sinister plots happening down here. Beshlog, on the other hand, notices a small door set next to the three shafts. While it is too big for Beshlog to fit through without the help of creative magic, Emilia could squeeze through.

"I don't think I'll fit down there, but you probably could," he says uncertainly. "I'm going to go ahead and check to see if there's anything else alive down here with us."
Beshlog will go ahead and start checking pulses to determine whether the bodies are merely unconscious or if they are all dead.

Ember sighs when she sees the mob forming.
"Beshlog is missing, but it couldn't be the imaginary trap doors. I'm going to see if they've robbed my gear of anything to deal with that"
She gestures at the mob, and goes to her room. Are her oil flasks & matches or tinderbox still there?
(depends on how far he fell)

Dex save: 14!
The giant manages to stay on his feet, and quickly retaliates with his axe (using booming blade, as usual)
Battleaxe
Attack: 16; Damage: 7 (magical slashing) + 6 (thunder) = 13 total damage. If the maid willingly moves, she takes another 10 thunder damage.
Now that it's clear she's being worn down, the giant is going to try to knock her out rather than kill her. He really wants some answers...

Ember searches where she hadn't searched before (near trapdoor & wall handles in post #344)
She'll knock on the walls listening for hollow sounds, & her "detect invisible" should still be in effect if it helps.
