Trill will hold a finger up in a 'shushing' gesture, made a bit more complicated by her beak. She will carefully land on the edge of the basket and look for a lock to the cage...
But why would he be locked in a cage by the bullywug if they were allies?

There is what appears to be an almost comically simple lock on the cage, like the kind one might find on a toddler's first diary. As Sir Talavar notices you looking at the lock, he says, "It appears, quite simple, I know, but there's some sort of hex on this cage. I cannot cast even the simplest of spells from within, and that lock has resisted my best attempts to pick it or even break it. Perhaps your skill exceeds mine however?"
Is it of a size that Trill will be able to grab it and fly down?
(The cage as a whole? Yes, though it's a bit of a struggle to do so. The solid silver cage probably weighs almost as much as you do. I'll need an Athletics (Strength) check, DC 11, to not drop it)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Trill grabs hold of the cage and tries to fly it up and down to Gerien and Joy so they can work on getting the poor fellow out without snakes popping out to bite them.

You fly down with Sir Talavar and his cage. When he sees Joy, Sir Talavar does as courtly a bow as the cage will allow him, and says, "My Lady, you should not be here. It is not safe."
She tilts her head curiously, "Do you know me, Sir?"
The faerie dragon responds. "You would not remember me, as you were very young, but I was once good friends with your Lord Father. Alas, my service to Her Majesty has kept me busy the last several years."

Keeping an eye on the surrounding area, Gerien does his best to eavesdrop on the conversation between Trill and Sir Talavar. (Perception 8)
Gerien can hear most of the conversation.

"Skill with a sword is probably not what we're needing," remarks Gerien.

"It is not safe. Why?", Trill asks, repeating Sir Talavar's words before finishing with an inquisitive feminine voice.
