Seeing Leif's condition after the fight Screechirk kneels by the gnome, grabbing a piece of a cloth to proffer it to the gnome. "Are you okay? Seems whatever just happened did a number on you."

Leif stands up using the cloth from Screechirk to wipe away the mucus from his face.  “Sometimes I am protected by one who cares nothing for those around me.”  Leif looks around amazed that there aren’t dozens dead in this setting.  He looks very tired, actually weary of his circumstances…

”is the lady okay?”  He asks Screechirk, then telepathically he instructs Glass to assess the emotions of Zenia

Zenia just sits there staring at the aftermath of the carnage, before finally speaking. "Yeah, I'm alright. I'm not hurt at least."

Glass assess that Zenia is distraught.

Seeing Zenia's pause, Screechirk touches one of the nearby candleholders and causes it to give off a soothing blue hue (light) before their questions continue. Perhaps it would help calm her down after the sudden attempt on her life, yet again.

Leif will examine the divas medicine 21 (rolled a 20!)

Leif attends the divas who have fallen in the fight. They are stabilised but lie still; unconscious.

With the Thornapple now emptied of the panicking patrons, Myx Nargis Ruba makes his way over. He quickly squeezes past the guards, Leif and Screechirk. He crouches down and pulls her into a big hug.

"It's all my fault," he wails.

Screechirk is puzzled at Nargis' reaction. "What exactly is all your fault?" He tries to have a tone of compassion in his voice, wondering what Nargis is blaming himself for.

Leif cleans the slime off the divas and covers them best he can to ward off the chill of Hadar.  Telepathically he instructs Glass to grab any available cloaks or blankets around.

"The attacks," he wails again. Meanwhile, Zenia is looking somewhat confused. "The attacks are all my fault. All our fault. The Kings of Coin."

Screechirk gets suspicious. "How. Do. You. Mean?" he asks again. If Nargis doesn't answer he'll use thaumaturgy to repeat the question with a look of flaming eyes.

He instructs Glass to be ready…

Nargis takes a moment to recompose himself, "Our greed and arrogance have doomed the firstborn child of the Kings of Coin. The Kings of Coin negotiated with a witch by the name of Proud Edun. We promised our firstborn would be her apprentices in exchange for the jeli flower. The jeli flower is the magical creation of Proud Edun. It is the source of the wealth in Zinda.

However, we couldn't bring ourselves to uphold the bargain. So, we King of Coins called the witch to a secret meeting. And it is in that meeting that we murdered her."

"You did what?"

 Scree listens to what Nargis has to say a bit surprised. Witches and firstborns. Of course they wouldn't have wanted to give away their children but it did make the situation a bit more nuanced, even if he disagreed with the attempts on the kids' lives. Composing himself he asks a bit hesitantly, "The matter of your murder is probably best for another time, but would that witch have had any relatives? People that would've wanted to get vengeance on her behalf?"

Nargis shakes his head, "We didn't know her well enough to be aware of any relatives. We also don't know if she had any alliegences."

At that moment coughing and spluttering can be heard coming from the direction of the fallen divas.

"What happened?" Diva Luma groans?

Glass becomes aware that Diva Luma is in a state of confusion and bewilderment, but is otherwise on the good alignment.

The woman sits up, "Wait, a datura introduced herself and gave me a fine sachet of glitter. She said it was thanks for many inspiring performances. She was wearing green pantaloons and a yellow tunic."

Screechirk looks at Leif, "Didn't we see such a woman at the market? Seems she's behind this." He asks Diva Luma, "Would you, perchance, have any idea where that woman went?"

“Yes indeed she was a bit too quick then, but now we know what to watch for.”  “What is a datura?”  

"A datura is a spirit shepard," Nagis replies.

"Spirit shepherd? Hmm, what kind of things are they known for?" asks Screechirk.

He turns to Leif, "Shall we see if we can track where she went?" He turns to the Divas, "Anything that might aid our search?"

He takes a look at the ground, "Milil aid us."
