Glendale, you recognize the place orc1 mentioned, the library fort thing, is Waerlden Hold, the location Rivel Dirungo, your employer, requested you clear out, as it has an orc camp outside it.
Captain: "Orcs, I will talk to them for once...", the orcs step back, and the captain takes a step forwards, "I only ever listen to my superiors, take the word to them... They would not tell me why, but that it was urgent we'd be here this morning, something of an enemy organisation needing to be slowed for safety reasons... Talk to us no longer, and head to my superiors, perhaps even Lurdra herself..." Please everyone roll another history check, no advantage this time.

Look what you've done, spoiling it for you and everyone who can see this screen. You're a disgrace, you know that, right? You have nothing to be ashamed of but yourself, you moster!
But to be completely fair, every monster has a cute side, like have you seen people draw goblins? Goblins look so cool! You're fine, you may seem like a monster, but I bet you're cute on the inside!
I am SO sorry I haven't replied recently, I apologise. I've been busy and have had a massive creativity block, but I'm back!
Salty and Glendare recognise Lurdra to likely be Lurdra Orearm, half-orc leader of the Demon Hogs, a clan of orcs in your area.
"Direction? Well, I believe it was Frotbridge to Frotbix, but I'm not sure. I am sure of something, though... Leave now, and we promise to not kill anyone that comes past. Only if we know that they are the people we were told to murder..." The captain starts towards the cave, and the orcs follow. What do you do with Tiss and Gaaz? Do you leave?

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gaaz (to Glendare): "I believe we have a sketch or two on this one person, but you'll need to go into the caves if you want them..."
Captain (to Salty): "Sigh, we weren't given a name, that's the fun part... Now, unless you want me to kill you, I hope I don't see you again." Intimidation: 20, he got dirty 20 (Out of game) on the roll against intim.
[Salty/Hunter, I didn't remember you rolled 21 for the history. They, the Demon Hogs, are a very brutish clan of terrorist orcs, and are the cause of the most recent Great War, spreading lies to the few Heltic citizens, causing them to start war. This war is still affecting day to day life, though it is over now.]

Well, the problem is going to be that I can't just let you go if you're attacking Innocents. If you were going after a criminal I'd be more liable to ignore. Otherwise my kindly friend Salty here will most likely have to step in
Darath stands in the background with javelin in hand, agreeing with what Salty and Glendare are saying.
[[
If there's a check he can help with, feel free to assume his help. And if initiative needs to be rolled, feel free to roll for him. And depending on where he falls, plan is probably throw a javelin and Quick Toss a javelin followed by item interaction to draw a javelin just in case he gets an opportunity attack. (don't want to hold up a combat while busy
Gaaz (to Glendare): "Umm, I never said we attacked all innocents, you guys just look a little... Important. Have you seen that one's armour?!" He points at Darath, and the armour I'm assuming he is wearing.
Glendare / Salbelly, roll insight if wanted in the next parts of conversation (again, if wanted)

See, that's the problem. If you're attacking ANY Innocents I have to step in. It's just not okay. I'm trying to prevent us having to remove you because you seem like you're at least TRYING to follow the rules.
Gaaz: "I- come on man, please! I don't want it this, it's the others, they're doing their job! I just wanted to get money, I would never kill for that! Please!" Persuasion: 15, roll insight against this, please. Higher than is not believing him, lower is believing him.

Darath shuffles uneasily as Gaaz mentions the reason he attacked the party. He slips into Giant and says to Salty, "From what I can see, we're looking at a fight." He steps back while readying himself to be ~40ft from the hobgoblins. (Want to get far enough away that it would require a dash for a melee attacker to get in range, while still being close to be able to use movement to not impose disadvantage on a 30/120 range javelin.)
He turns to Glendare, "Double-check those knots please."
OOC: why do I roll a nat 20 on THIS.
History: max(1,11) = 11
[[ Gotta get those 20s at some point, Salbelly! :D ]]

That sounds ominous. Which direction are you protecting from?
Darath pauses. Could they be the enemy organization? If so, figuring out more about this Lurda could be useful.

“Don’t turn your back on me! Who were you told to kill? And why?”
Demon Hogs? Sounds pretty nasty, are they murderous evil scum or sneaky cultic types or something different, just curious a 21 is a nice roll.

Glad to have you back, Colloquium. No problems with the busyness.

Glendare appears to go for the knots and instead trips and puts him face down prone.
Ooc: would this be agility roll with advantage or would this just be a successful move?
