"Oh, Glendare, I was expecting you all to be short on money. I know Gandeled will do trade ins for any less valuable equipment you may have, like you, Darath, and that armour. I do also have plenty of money, and I'm almost always in debt to this guy. He doesn't truly care if you give the specified amount, just give him something small you might have, or if you aren't willing, now is the perfect time to pay off my loans, so I'll gladly pay a portion. Remember, you will have the finest of equipment by the end of this adventure." If you couldn't tell by colour, that was Rivel, not Gandeled.
To Darath: "Ah, yes. I apoloise. This armour has been made with an alloy of adamantine, and the same gem Rivel right there uses for a necklace. It likes to test if it's wearer is worthy of donning it for the first time. If it isn't boiling your blood currently, it likes you." BTW the armour is not boiling your blood, meaning it deems you worthy.

Look what you've done, spoiling it for you and everyone who can see this screen. You're a disgrace, you know that, right? You have nothing to be ashamed of but yourself, you moster!
But to be completely fair, every monster has a cute side, like have you seen people draw goblins? Goblins look so cool! You're fine, you may seem like a monster, but I bet you're cute on the inside!
Oh good!! Then, I'll request if I can turn over 5gp and get some assistance?
The excitement on Glendare's face is clear as he realizes he's going to be the owner of such an unlikely good find. He quickly filters out the 5gp and placed the remaining pieces in his belt purse
"Thank you, good sir. I will trouble Rivel for the gold extra. That will go with you others, how much can you all pay out of what you have?" Gandeled smiles in a wide grin, and then moves over to Rivel for the money he will be paying.
OOC: I suppose you are all going to be paying 5 GP from your pockets and have Rivel pay the rest? If you want to spend a little more, feel free, but I would like y'all to take a minimum of 5 GP from your pockets.
Recap of what you are buying:
Darath: Adamantine Splint
Glendare: Necklace of Prayer Beads (Favor, Summons, Blessing, Blessing and Curing)
Salty: Cloak of Many Fashions
Rivel is buying the kamas (for my info not urs)

"A soldier's armor is very important. It's never good to leave surprises." Insight: 2+3 = 5 //I changed my mind, Salbelly. You can have my dice. :P
//Assuming nothing comes up, (might ask him a couple more questions) chain mail is 75gp, trade-in value (1/2 price) is 37. So +2 gold and the armor when all is said and done.

I don't know how to say what you found out from that 5, so just pretend you know he's telling the truth when he says:
"Well, for a first, people usually don't even come up here. You're lucky that Rivel is your employer. Without her, you would be getting the bland armpit and weapons back downstairs. Secondly, I believe my usual clients that come up here know of my 'sentient splint', so forgive me for not warning you. Either way, when I said blood boiling, is less that and more of an irresistible itch, as if you fell into a bush of stingy nettles, 'cept it gets better as soon as you get out of said bush." Please don't roll insight again, he is telling the truth... Please :(
"Mistress, thanks for the money, I hope you find use with that cloak. And you too, I will see that the necklace has you well." That was to Salty and Glendare. "And sir, I hope the armour forever deems you worthy of its incredulous protection. And if one were to kill you and take the armour, the armour knows to punish said man. Rivel, I will take all of the gold from you. That's 10 gold for the necklace, take 2 for the money I pray you give back to that man, and 30 gold for the twin kamas. Please may I have 38 gold from you?"
"Of course, Gandeled. We will leave you now. I bid fare."
Just made some Frottish slang, specifically 'I bid fare' meaning 'I bid you farewell' but shorter and a more informal, friendly way of saying it.

“Now I am prepared Glendare, as we used to say onboard our ship the Rocket, let’s make waves!” Salty gives Glendare a smile and a friendly slap on the shoulder.
Glendare might notice the way Saltstrider glances at his holy symbol, it might even be a bit obvious that she wants to know more…
Before leaving the shop, Darath asks one last question. "You say you hope it always deems me worthy. What would cause it to renege on its current disposition?" [[ OOC: Basically he's asking if a will save needs to made every time the armor is put on or just the first time. ]]
Afterwards he joins in bidding fare and follows the others.
"Those are some nice beads you've got there, Glendare." he says, "As for additional stops, I'm not sure I have any in mind. And I agree travels are more pleasant in the light."
He has a delighted chuckle at Salty's expression and tries his best to make his own nautical phrase, "With enthusiasm like that, we can definitely sea you're prepared."
With the requisite groan for Darath's joke, Glendare thanks Gandelad warmly before turning and leaning into the interest Salty is showing. He lifts his prayer wheel a little with a finger, and smiles brightly.
Lathander commonly is represented as we are now; the beginnings of a journey with the rising sun. In moments like this, I'm truly able to honor him. He is the God of renewal. He expects us to be flawed; dark histories, failed opportunities, mistakes made. For us, we celebrate him by shouldering our past without letting it blind us to our future.
Glendare pats Salty on the shoulder as they wait for Rivel to finish paying.
Rocket ships? Why, do tell! I'm not too familiar with them; mountain temples don't tend to get visitors such as that.
"Oh, sir. Trust me when I say that this armour will suit even the devils, as long as they were given such armour as kind citizens of this plane. Do not worry of having that chance every time you don it, just don't switch bodies with someone else, it's complicated..."
You all exit the building, and look up at the newly risen sun. This will be your first day in travels with eachother, so once you leave, since there is not much to do other than roleplay, I will have something done up for you in less than 10 hours. (Im a human too, I need sleep every so often...)

””Rocket ship? Oh no the ship was named Rocket. It was a modified clipper the fastest wave crester ever made. “We were a tight crew about 30 of us. I could out work anyone on board. Lots of stories, I’ve got some tats for the really good ones. Captain Frostbeard never fraternized with us, first one to grab a whip or flog for discipline though. He loved a bloody beating till he started lookin for a reason to get me lashed. I never gave him one. I think he ultimately felt like I could carry out a mutiny, and rather than that he scuttled me at Frotwater. I would’ve never left otherwise. Now I’ve seen families & friends, I realize I’ve never really had that. My life was killing, slaving, and survival. I’m trying to live different.” Saltstrider stands her full 7’ height squares her shoulders, you can see some tattoos of various quality. She takes a deep breath, “How about you Darath? I haven’t seen another Goliath in ages.”
