You all head outside, some embarassed, some jovial at getting kicked out. You know have pet frogs. But, as you walk away laughing, something strange begins to happen:

the four frogs start belching strangely, and their eyes turn red. As the party and the other students look on, the frogs suddenly grow into four giant frogs, shredding their makeshift costumes and furiously lashing out at the crowd!

The other students scatter, and it’s up to the party to subdue the giant frogs! Notably, Aurora does not join you this time, but is instead watching from a safe distance.

OOC: I kind of see something different in your spoiler, but I'll go with what you say.

Theodore drops his frog in shock, what in the 'verse is this?!

"Clam down Suspenders! just because we lost the race doesn't mean you should throw a tantrum!" He tries to pet the frog and try to clam it down.

OOC: I don't know how it rerolled. This is so dumb. We'll keep it how it is.

Theo, roll an animal handling check

Elsenia studies Aurora curiously from the corner of her eye. She seems to act a little strange whenever the druid approaches her. Worried, Elsenia tries to think of anything she said or did that could cause the strange shift in behavior. Did Aurora not like her? Frowning and preoccupied with her thoughts, Elsenia barely noticed getting kicked out from the cafe. She followed the others outside and then the four cute little frogs suddenly transformed into much larger, more menacing frogs with red eyes!

"Nine hells!" Elsenia exclaims, startled. "Poor frogs!"

Swinging her staff, Elsenia mutters a few words and casts her new favorite spell Entangle at the frogs, hoping to restrain them and prevent them from hurting anyone.

Frog's Strength Save: 9

Weaver, then Venrys!

Weaver yells "Your Imperiousness!  Nooo!!!" but then realizes that she needs to get people to safety.  Making sure she's out of reach of the frogs, she activates her Mirror Portal on her current location, then flies thirty feet away and throws the mirror another ten feet, to make an escape route for any other students still in the area and needing to escape.

The fleeing students run through the portal, fleeing away from the monstrous frogs.

Venrys, then frogs, then Ooboron. (poor Ooboron with nat 1 initiative)

"Come on buddy, you need to relax."

OOC: Wow...that was stupendous!

Venrys is taken aback by the sudden transformation. "Gods above! Is it normal to be attacked at school this often? Well, this worked well enough on the mimic, let's give it another go Elsenia!" He plants his staff on the ground. His eyes blaze with violet fire. A string of indecipherable words form indigo smoke in the air and he lays his Hex upon one of the frogs. He then looks to another standing beside it and gestures sharply. A Mind Sliver strikes the creature!

OOC: The hexed frog has disadvantage on strength saving throws. The Slivered frog makes an INT saving throw DC 14 or takes Attack: 6 psychic damage and subtracts 3 from its next saving throw

OOC: goodness.

The frog is struck by the mind sliver, its already weak minds disoriented by the mind energy

Frogs turn!

The frogs try to break free. Theo's frog tries to attack him, but the vines prevent it.

Ooboron, GO! (The frogs are still restrained, along with Theo)

Ooboron is at first scared, then worried. What is happening? Why did the frogs grow? Are they dangerous? "Sh-should we be attacking them?" he asks no one in particular as he watches Venrys do something that seems to hurt one of them. He decides to try something. He hurries away from the building, ending up behind the frogs. Closing his eyes, his form shimmers, and suddenly there is another frog. This one has a big, colorful bowtie and cummerbund. "Come on!" he says, trying to sound like the frogs. "Rrrrribit! This way!"

Movement: As far as he can get with his 30 feet on the other side of the frogs

Action: disguise self

Performance (if appropriate and allowed): 25 (includes advantage due to actor feat - though he has not heard the frogs for one minute, so he's just Ooboron trying to sound like a frog with no practice — he doesn't mimic them perfectly)

OOC: Hmm... interesting.

Ooboron shifts his form to look like a frog, albeit a massive one, and beckons to the other frogs. The frogs look at him for a second, then try to follow him, but are restrained by the vines which are enwrapped around them.

Theo is having a rough day. He stays restrained by the vines, and is unable to move. Sorry man.

Elsenia, then Weaver!

Elsenia watches Ooberon transform himself into a giant frog with a cummerbund. She gasps in surprise but also delight. She will release her concentration on the spell and suddenly the vines vanish. There is nothing now preventing the frogs from following Ooberon!

Weaver sees what Ooby is trying to do, but cringes when she hears his attempt at a 'ribbit.'  She gets an idea, though, and uses her action to Magically Tinker and imbue a coin with a six-second recording of the giant frog's croaking.  She then flies over toward the OobyFrog and repeatedly taps the coin to help sell the "I'm a giant frog too, come this way" effort.  

Venrys, seeing that the spell has been released and that Ooberon and Weaver are trying to lure the frogs away, pauses. He maintains his hex on one of the frogs, just in case, but he holds off on casting any harmful spells. He prepares to cast Chill Touch should the frogs prove to be more violent than expected. He gives Ooberon a look that says, 'I hope you know what you're doing'.

Frogs Turn!

Thanks to the combined efforts of the party (and a nat 20), the frogs hop behind Ooboron, though they still kind of want to eat him. i would have the roll an INT check to see thrtough the illusion, but they would fail.
