Current Character(s): Marcon Domine level 2 monk in Lost Mine of Phandelver
Current Campaigns: Icewind Dale: Rime Of the Frostmaiden, Princes of the Apocalypse
Four things I hate in D&D: People who think the tarasque is the most powerful (an empyrean or kraken can beat it), players trying to seduce bad guys (it's funny though), when a monster roles a NAT 20 (everyone hates that), rolling a NAT 1 (everyone hates that)
Marco decides retrieves his one dart, then searches the area, specifically the two dead horsies Perception: 20 Marcon yells at the group. "There are tracks over here!
You find a hidden trail, "hide out zere. weez goez freeez. yuze find our hide out. now let uz goez freeez"
Grumbling to himself as he climbs out from under the wagon Vex, joins the others in searching the area for any signs of more hostiles or another ambush.
Perception: 12, Survival: 19
Once this is done, he moves to the gathered group, "Might want to take a short rest now, few of us hurt. We can question those two," he points to the two sleeping goblins, "after and see where came from and if any alive from other wagon."
With all the combined help, you found over one dozen small sets of footprints and at least two medium sized tracks.
I stumble over wincing and drop to my knees raising my hand I say "i second the resting part, I'm up for a good fight mother earth requests that we stop for an hour or 2"
Everyone takes a short rest and can spend healing surges and regain encounter powers.
* Choose to head on forward to Pandalin * Choose to pull the wagon off the road and tie up the oxen before investigating the hidden trail * Choose to free or kill the goblin prisoners * Choose to keep the goblins as prisoners that you bring with you * Explore more of the Triboar Trail * Think of something else
Marcon steps forward, and unsheathes his kama. Let's kill the thing follow the trail.

“I know their lives are forfeit, but maybe they can still be of use to us. If we are going to chase after Sildar, maybe they can lead us to this hideout they’re talking about. Do any of you speak in goblin tongue? Maybe they can be persuaded to interpret for us, for a gold coin or two. What does everyone else want to do with these two?”
Wilhorn looks over Marc and sees he’s already carrying a scimitar and short sword.
”Are you really wanting another weapon?”
(Let me know if I need to reduce the loot inventory and by which items.)
(Just changed the names of Marcon's weapons to the japanese names. I'll use those names in-game. Shortsword is tantō, scimitar is wakizashi, dart is shuriken, and sickle, obviously, is kama)

"im thinking of cooking up so goodberry jam once we've gotten to phandelver, but I guess we'll have to see where the wind takes us, of course I am now looking forward to some elven bread toasted with some goodberry jam, yummy"
Vex thinks a moment, "Can kill anytime, have them lead us to home, there might be more ambushes on the way, rather they lead and be in danger than one of us."
Vex does not want any of the inventory and during the short rest he used one hit die to heal himself 8 HP.
As the votes are coming in, Wilhorn with Marc’s intimidating presence, begins adjusting the knots on his rope. He hands Marc the center length and then alters the bindings on each end to free the goblin’s legs, keeping their hands tied tightly. He then creates a choker knot around each neck. He gives a quick grin and a nod at his handiwork.
”There! Now either Marc or ryuulin, our biggest and strongest, can drive them like a couple of mules out in front of us. And if either of them think to run or shout, a hard tug on either end of the reins can put an end to that quick as you please.”
(Can I take a shortsword from a goblin?)

When the goblins wake, they are intimidated into submission by Daewen's menacing glare.

Resnalore wakes from the rest refreshed and full of energy "did I miss anything ?"
Walks in flames
Resnalore spends 2d10+6 hitdice while healing 20
And you have 10 goodberries that heal 1 hp each.
Right now, the discussion is between killing the prisoners' and letting them go. We have a trail to investigate and a wagon to deliver.
“I don’t think there’s an option to NOT try and rescue Sildar. At least by my estimation.”
Wilhorn earnestly explains.
”He needs to be alive, in order to pay us, upon delivery of these supplies.”
He points to the wagon.
”Are those goodberries? I’ve heard of them. Pretty amazing properties, those have. What do you plan to do with them, Resnalore?”

Ryuulin votes to dispatch the goblins, "no witnesses"
Wilhorn wants to free ths goblins
Marcon seconds to kill the prisoners
Need votes from Vex, Resnalore, and Daewen
Daewen breaks a stick off one of the closest trees, and begins to scribe a note in the dirt of the road.
I vote we take these two goblins as prisoners, and have them lead us to where they've taken Sildar!
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
Vex thinks a moment, "Can kill anytime, have them lead us to home, there might be more ambushes on the way, rather they lead and be in danger than one of us."

Ryuulin will also spend 2d8+4 hitdice while resting 12
“Resnalore, you can make this vote 4-2 or 3-3. What say you on the fate of these two?”
Wilhorn turns attention to the two captives.
”Oi! How long ago were the riders of these horses taken away?”
