Daewen scrunches up her face in angst at her poor performance. Gods be damned, I’m going to run out of arrows at this rate before I end up hitting a single goblin even once!

Wilhorn finds two snoring goblins on top of the northern embankment, as well as the corpse of one that had been skewered by Ryuulin’s arrow. From this vantage point, none of the three goblins to the south are hidden from him, though one is quickly dispatched by Daewen’s arrow.
Wilhorn steps from behind the tree and evokes an Eldritch Blast at the wounded goblin that had been shook by Ryuulin’s thunderous attack.
Attack: 8 Damage: 10 force damage.
He then takes cover back behind the tree from any potential retribution.
Drool will back away from the edge and Dodge to stay out of the path of arrows.
There’ll be time enough to tie these two up later. He thinks to himself, referring to the sleepers.
Good morning. The combat has taken a sharp turn for the better, with only two goblins remaining, one is near death and the other is at full hitpoints. I'll wait until this evening to Bot characters, around 9pm EST. Feel free to reach out to me here on the thread or over PM. Good luck.
He then spends one Ki point to use Patient Defense and takes the Dodge action for his bonus action.

Four things I hate in D&D: People who think the tarasque is the most powerful (an empyrean or kraken can beat it), players trying to seduce bad guys (it's funny though), when a monster roles a NAT 20 (everyone hates that), rolling a NAT 1 (everyone hates that)
(Will I be able to pull the dart out of the goblin after this encounter?)

5e rules says that the ammunition property has a recovery rate of 50% For each arrow or bolt shot, roll a DC 11 and on a successful save, you can recover spent ammunition. This is for hits and misses during the looting phase, after the end of a combat.
Since darts don't have the ammunition property, the recovery rate is 100% as long as you can spend time looting. I would say 100% recovery for all weapons with the Thrown property.

Vex Perception: 10
Vex will continue to hide behind the wheel of the wagon as he can only hear the screams of the dying creatures but can't seem to find out where they are hiding. He does manage to stammer yell out to anyone still around him, "There are no enemies under the wagon, the wagon is safe." Vex calls out as he waits for an answer before poking his nose back out from under the wagon.

We'll call this a 15 because the dice roller malfunctioned.
Apologies but that was all German to me haha could you dumb it down a lot please
I fixed your character, so that it would have the correct numbers.
Now, you can take your turn by copying and pasting the following text, and remove the periods from the text roll. If you roll a 16 or higher you can cast hunter's mark and shoot your bow at G6, otherwise if you roll 15 or lower, you can spend an action to use your perception again or you can hide or you can heal a hurt ally, you can do anything you can think up."

Sure thing
>> your character has enough XP to be level 2, but you haven't chosen which class to take your second level.
In a normal game of d&d, we all start at 0 XP with 1st level characters. As we play, we gain experience points (XP) to reach level 2, then 3, then up to level 20. In this campaign, we are starting at 2nd level and your character was only 1st level. I have taken control of your character sheet and leveled your character up to 2nd level.
>> If you want to stick with Ranger, you will get more hitpoints and a fighting style. Stick with Longbow and you get a +2 To-Hit from Archery Style.
Whenever you gain a level, you have the option to take the level in your base class or a new class, this option is called multi-classing. For you, I chose to stick with Ranger, which is a strong option for a number of reasons. I'm happy to explain in detail the pros and cons of Ranger but for simplicity, it's going to be easier for you to stick with one class.
>> You will need to remove your "Rolled stats" and replace them with our starting array, as if you had rolled: 17, 16, 15, 14, 12, 10
Your character sheet had the correct settings selected under the Abilities page. However, you chose to roll your stats and everyone else chose to enter them manually. I have fixed this for you.
>> I also recommend that, as a Ranger, you put the 17 in Dexterity and use one of your Half-Elf floating +1's to start with an 18 Dexterity. While wearing studded leather, your AC goes up to 16, your To-Hit will be +6 and your Damage with a longbow will be 1d8+4
This comment is about min-maxing your primary ability score. For a Longbow Ranger, the primary ability score is Dexterity. This score determines how often your attacks hit but also how much damage they do. It also effects skills like Acrobatics and Stealth. With our static array, the highest score is a 17. My recommendation for your character is to add a racial modifier to that 17 to make it an 18 and start off with an 18 in Dexterity.
Dexterity 16, gives you AC 15 and Longbow damage 1d8+3 Dexterity 18, gives you AC 16 and Longbow damage 1d8+4
>> Looking over your other party members, you will find the current party makeup is listed below. Vex (Ranger 2) Marcon (Monk 2) Daewen (Ranger 1/Rogue 1) Wilhorn (Sorcerer 1/Warlock 1) Ryuulin (Bard 1/ Ranger 1)
One of the best parts of d&d and maybe even 5e specifically, is the variety of playable characters you can create. If you were to play another campaign, it's unlikely that you will have the same party makeup that you have here.
We have another Ranger, just like you, but he's small and blue and traditionally considered a "monster race" but for this campaign, we'll just say he's a "intelligent race" because he's a Kobald and not an enemy.
We also have a Monk, who is typically a martial artist, who you have seen throwing darts to great effect.
We also have a multiclass Ranger/Rogue, with quite a bit of synergies between the two classes, we can expect great things from this "scout"
Next, we have another small character, a halfling (aka hobbit), who seems to be a Divine Soul with a Celestial Patron, which is a very unique type of Sorcerer/Warlock multiclass character.
Finally, we have another Ranger, this time he's an angelic race called Aasimir, carrying instruments like a bard but with the wisdom of a Ranger.
