Since we're in a pitch black cave, the following two Gloom Stalker features are helping Daewen right now-
Dread Ambusher
You add your WIS modifier (+2) to initiative rolls. At the start of your first turn of each combat, your walking speed increases by 10 ft., which lasts until the end of that turn. If you take the Attack action on that turn, you can make one additional weapon attack as part of that action, dealing an extra 1d8 damage of the weapon’s damage type on a hit.
Umbral Sight
You gain darkvision out to a range of 60 ft. (+30 ft. if you already have it). While in darkness, you are invisible to any creature that relies on darkvision to see you in that darkness.
Daewen's grin falters for a heartbeat as she spots a hulking silhouette amongst the orcs. Gog the ogre. Adjusting her plan in a flash, she slinks past the orcs, their forms mere blurs in her darkvision. With a silent prayer to the Raven Queen, she lunges from the shadows, a dark wraith aiming for the unsuspecting ogre. Her rapiers glint wickedly in the air, poised to strike a devastating blow at Gog's massive back.
Movement action: Steel meets flesh in a sickening thud, and Daewen twists away, vanishing back into the inky blackness before the ogre even registers the attack. Only the faint echo of her retreating steps hint at the unseen assailant.
Round 1:
The metallic tang of blood hangs heavy in the air. Heart pounding with adrenaline, Daewen assesses the impact of her strike. Gog roars in pain, momentarily distracted from the orcs. Seizing the opportunity, Daewen reappears from the shadows like a vengeful spirit. Her rapiers blur once more, this time aiming for a weak point she spied in Gog's thick hide. Steel bites deep, and the ogre bellows in fury, flailing wildly. But Daewen is a wisp of darkness, already melting back into the shadows before Gog can retaliate. The orcs, still reeling from the sudden assault, can only stare in bewilderment as the cave echoes with the ogre's enraged roars.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A flurry of motion erupted from the darkness. Daewen, a wraith in the gloom, struck O1 with deadly precision. Her rapiers sang a silent song, both finding their mark with sickening thuds. The O1 orc roared in surprise, crumpling under the brutal impact as Daewen melted back into the shadows as quickly as she appeared, leaving him wounded and the rest of the orcs scrambling to pinpoint the unseen threat.
Smiling wildly that the fight seems to be going their way Vex continues to fire at the orc's, now aiming for the orc4 that Dorah is fighting. "Hold Dorah while I change somethig." Dorah still slinks her head around and breathes on the bolt as it plunges into the side of the doomed Orc.
BA change Hunters mark to Orc4 (Commanding Dorah takes a BA, so as default he will be dodging this round as it takes my BA to move my Hunter's Mark to a new target)
Hand Crossbow v O4 - To hit: (Pack Tactics:19,10)+10: 29 Piercing Damage: 10 Infused Strike: 4 Hunters Mark: 5 Total: 19
