Current Campaign(s): Dungeons, Darkness, Drow, and Demons, an Out of the Abyss Adventure, Dungeon Delvers, a Dungeon of the Mad Mage Adventure, Jungle of Evil, a Tomb of Annihilation Adventure
(I assume B2 rose from prone on its turn in Round 1, though it wasn’t specifically stated. That’s why I said Drool was trying to knock him down again. DM did list him as prone, but I think that was an oversight. If I am wrong and it is still prone, Marc should get advantage on his 2 attacks in Round 2. But, don’t assume I’m wrong. Please wait for DM clarification before retconning advantage for Round 2 attacks on B2.)

(In the interest of moving this along, and with a recollection that I was referred to as a co-DM, and with the reliance on grace with the saying, ‘it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than to get permission”, I will set the stage for Round 3.)
B2 did indeed stand up, despite Drool’s attempt to keep him down. (No advantage for Marc’s attacks in Round 2.) He ignores the silly puppy, continuing his attack on the opponent that is obviously the bigger threat, Marc. After all, maybe the dog can be retrained or served on a spit, B2 muses.
Attack: 5 Damage: 14 Don’t forget Bane, reducing the to hit by: 4
B3, after being hit by Marcon while heading to engage Daewen, rages at the dark elf.
Vex enthused by the severity of this latest attack will change his focus and aim at another bugbear (B2) and fire his bolt, cocking his head and whispering to Dorah in Draconic, "With your help we can kill any foe set against us."
Vex enthused by the severity of this latest attack will change his focus and aim at another bugbear (B2) and fire his bolt, cocking his head and whispering to Dorah in Draconic, "With your help we can kill any foe set against us."
The crackling bolt begins its trajectory, seemingly at a soft spot on the bugbear engaged with Marc. Somehow, at the last moment, B2 sensed its impending arrival. The bolt clanks harmlessly off the brute’s shield.
In a flurry of motion, Daewen (dressed in all black) swirls like a wraith. Twin shortswords glint in the dim light as she darts in, delivering a whirlwind of steel aimed at bugbear B3's vital points. No battle cry escapes her lips, but the dance of blades speaks volumes of deadly intent.
Wilhorn gestures in the air, drawing energy from the Weave. He chants the familiar incantation and lets loose with an Eldritch Blast at the last standing bugbear.
Attack: 15 (miss)
He shouts to Marc, “Consider non-lethal! It could be questioned!”
Drool again tries to take a bite out of B2, possibly knocking it off its feet.
Attack: 4 + 3 (modifier) (also a miss)

With murder in his eyes, he lashes out at the monk. He’s like a cornered animal, all of his allies are gone. It’s do or die time. He raises his morningstar and swings with deadly intent.

Marcon growls at the sturdy Bugbear, and decides on a strategy. Pulling out his whip, he lashes out, wrapping the end of the whip around the bugbear's ankle, attempting to pull him prone (Yes, I just pulled an Indiana Jones. Nathan and I discussed that this would be possible. the Bugbear needs to make a Strength saving throw DC 14)
Regardless of the result of the whip, Marcon follows up with an unarmed strike.
