This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
MEEPO says, "It's Calcryx. Remberz to notz kilz itz."
ERKY says in a, to say the least, exaggerated tone, "WHAT!" Not kill it? This is a White Dragon. You don't make these things a pet. The Goblins believes it is an offspring of Icingdeath. Ever heard of Icingdeath?
ROLL FOR INITIATIVE
CALCRYX INIT3
MEEPO INIT 19
ERKY INIT 3
(Since this is almost like a boss encounter, I will post a separate battle map for this in the gaming thread.)
ERKY recognizes that XANTH is the fighter in the party. He moves behind the Barbarian and touches him, "Please! You must kill it or it will grow to terrorize the whole of the Sword Coast."
ERKY cast Resistance on XANTH.
RESISTANCE: You touch one willing creature. Once before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one saving throw of its choice. It can roll the die before or after making the saving throw. The spell then ends.
"I have never heard of Icingdeath. But Meepo here is the dragon's handler. We gave our word that we would recover the dragon in exchange for safe passage through the kobold's lair."
Init: 5
Her action will depend on what has happened before her turn (seeing as she is probably last), and if she is still alive after the predictable breath attack as she doesn't have time to move away from the party.
Stepping into the room putting away my hammer...ok there Calcryx, look at me now...I'm Ragdor and we've come to free you and to punish those mean ol'goblins. pulls the everlight candle out, look, we even brought you a gift to add to your treasures.
Glynt will move to a different pillar to get a better view into the room but still keep behind cover the best he can. Fearing what will happen if the Dragon takes a disliking to us he will then Inspire Ragdor
Bardic Inspiration
As a bonus action, a creature (other than yourself) within 60 ft. that can hear you gains an inspiration die (1d6). For 10 minutes, the creature can add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.
MEEPO goes in the room and attempts a peaceful gesture to the White Dragon.
ERKY gives XANTH a little Resistance and is not at all pleased that we are trying to capture or even bargain with a White Dragon. He adds, "The great Bard Salvatore told tales of Icingdeath, the Great White Dragon that once tormented the lands of Icewind Dale."
RAGDOR will walks in peacefully and try to persuade the White Dragon that you are here to free him.
GLYNT will give a little Inspiration to RAGDOR for his efforts.
Cacryxt sees MEEPO. He roars and speaks in a broken Draconic. He then moves to a location that would not harm RAGDOR. He hits MEEPO with his breath weapon.
MEEPO CON SAVE20
The White Dragon then looks at RAGDOR to see what he and the rest of the party do.
ERKY will repeat in English what Calcryx said, "He said, 'No more master or something like that.'"
Erky, help me translate will ya? That's right Calcryx, the great white wrym has no master only servants and friends like the kobolds...and enemies like the mean goblins that want to put your head on the wall like the rest of these creatures. You could go with our friend Meepo here and lets his people serve you and only you for the rest of your days, or...looking toward the open door, you could lead us in crushing your enemies the goblins.
I'm back out of this room into the bigger one, hopefully it'll follow and we'll have some cover with those pillars. start backing out the door. Meepo come on, you can't reason with it.

Xanth will take up position by the door with the skeleton.
ok, well if everyone is set then I'll open the door....
(The door is locked. Portia will be up to try and pick the lock.)
Portia tries to pick the lock, taking her longer than it sometimes does, but she doesn't look like she is struggling that much. She is just a little uneasy by having skeletons try to kill her, and now following them around apparently friendly. (20 to pick the lock which includes guidance)
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
PORTIA picks the lock.
RAGDOR mysteriously opens the door.

(@Radgor - This is a Persuasion check. You would get a +1d6 to the roll from Glynt's Bardic Inspiration.)
Persuasion roll 15+1= 16 and rolled a 1 on the d6, thank you Glynt, for a total of 17.
