Also, I am having a hard time posting any pictures of maps. The editor is just not letting me upload things.
I host my pictures on DropBox and when I am trying to share a picture, one thing that I have to do is adjust the last few characters of the hyperlink text.
When I copy the link on DropBox, it always ends with: dl=0
But if I keep the copied link as-is and try to use it, most forums cannot display the image.
So I change the final character string from dl=0 to raw=1
I have no idea how/why it works ... but it seems to do the trick.
Whoops...that doesn't look right. But, if you look at how the code displays it...the attack roll was 14+4 = 18 and the damage roll was 3.
Yeah, it looks like the attack of 18 and the bless result of 3 are correct, but the two results were placed one right after the other and it looked like 183. In any event, Calim hit!
I just want to attack this guy. Tides of chaos did nothing.
Moving forward, Tides of Chaos will need to be declared before the dice are tossed. You may not, in other words, roll an action, want to improve the result ... and then declare that the roll had advantage.

It hadn't come up before, but here is the ScienceVersusAdventure ruling on the if/when/may/shall of resetting ToC:
"Any time before you regain the use of this feature, the DM canwill have you roll on the Wild Magic Surge table immediately after you cast a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher. You then regain the use of this feature."
Just assume that a roll on the Wild Surge table to reset ToC will always happen.
For my two coppers, Wild Sorcerers should be chaotic and I, for one, am here for it.

I honestly wish they had the ability where you could intentionally roll on the wild magic surge because I love the wild magic. 09-10 is so op I mean SeVeN mAgIc MiSsIles???
But then there's also stuff like casting fireball on yourself.
If your using the dice roller built into the forums, I couldn't figure it out either, played around with a bunch of different possibilities but no luck.
If your typing it in, just add +1d4 between your roll blocks.
From the IC: "Cultists. C2 scimitar vs Calim, Attack: 19 Damage: 7"
The attack was supposed to be at +3 ... but when I hover over the result of 19, it tells me that it rolled a 13 and added 5 (which should be 18 in stead of 19?).
@Calim, I'll use the raw dice roll of 13 and add in the +3 modifier ... resulting in 16 overall. Still a hit versus Calim's AC, but this dice roller is getting on my last nerve.

Like so:
When I copy paste the address of an image that I would like to share, it looks like this: https ://www.dropbox.com/s/kf1qbioh6jfk0r4/Untitled 1.45.39 PM.jpg?dl=0
If I copy that text and drop it in as a picture, I get this:
But once I change dl=0 to raw=1, I get this:
In the current scene, the remaining pair of cultists appear as if they are finishing whatever summoning ritual they were attempting.
They will finish on their next action, and then things get ... interesting.
Welcome, Heroes, to the Sunken Temple of That-Which-Lurks!!!
@RippedRhinoVikings, No need to adjust the IC post (since it will dork up the rolls), but I will assume you meant Fire Bolt in the latest post.
You are correct

Tough start! haha
FYI wasn't sure how to add guidance directly into the roll so I just tacked it on at the end, sorry.

I'll use parenthesis instead of square brackets so you can see the text (roll)1d20+1d4+2(/roll)

Ahem ... Bless, not Guidance. I knew what you meant, though.
I tried to use the {monimg} tags with no luck. Meh.
In any event ... an ochre jelly has joined the party in the dungeon.
