... At level 2 I get (when we long rest) another spell slot, another spell, channel divinity turn undead and a channel divinity heal.
Correct on the additional spell slot and additional prepared spell.
The channel divinity abilities are unlocked now, however. Channel Divinity is a new ability for a 2nd-level cleric, and not tied to a resource that a 1st-level cleric would have been adventuring with.
On subsequent levels ... once Volneer has sorcery points and adventures himself down to, say, his last 2 sorcery points remaining ... then when he levels up he will still only have 2 sorcery points remaining (the maximum will be increased, but he will not receive extra point to spend just because he leveled up).
A new ability is different. The character didn't spend an existing resource all the way to zero and then level up and want the resource reset to max.
I have to admit ... it makes a lot more sense in my head, and I probably did not explain it very well.
This will be the last time that we level in this way. From here on out, leveling up will occur in conjunction with a long rest, regardless of when the XP was earned.
I rolled it as a straight roll, just with the dice on the bottom left of the sheet. Let me know if you don't see it in the log. I am happy to forfeit my roll if I did it wrong. Luck is that way, it comes and goes...but, eventually, it comes back again.

1. IC, I would do this because it is the part that is closest to the town. 2. IC, I would do this because we took a really dangerous licking that time and I'm fully aware that we might need to retreat and regroup after our next encounter. 3. IC, It would seem logical that there is an overseer or someone who would benefit from this summoning event, and it is never a good idea to have your retreat cut off. 4. OOC, I'm a map completionist and it makes me itchy if don't take a look in every corner before moving on.
Unless someone wants to DM? if we all still want to play, and nobody else wants to DM, I don’t mind. I personally love our characters and would like to continue playing in some form.

Kneecap is done with his rest. I'd suggest the following course out of proximity, open to another plan.
Does Volneer get sorcery points? I can't figure out if that falls under spell slots or under like class features.
[A paper drops out of a flash of light and drifts to the ground at your feet] -(extended sig)-
Yes. It is a brand new ability.

Same
Won't be needed.
I've learned quite a bit from this test drive.
Thank you for being patient with me as I got used to the ins and outs of a new PbP site.
My vote is to go to the door under the trees.

I'll craft a post IC to say as much.
Thank you very much, gang, for helping me to take this PbP site out for a test drive.
This concludes my involvement in the West Haven Tales.

So were done then it sounds like?
