Sirius follows Aubreen but stops at the bridge, hearing discourse from Marlede's direction. He turns to look at Aubreen and sees him struggling to understand the papers in his hands. He gestures for Aubreen to bring the papers to the bridge, while trying to listen in on the conversation as best as he can. He tucks the papers away as Aubreen brings them to him and speaks in a lowered voice. "If only I had just one more rope this would all be much easier. I'd certainly appreciate help getting down, perhaps I can help you the same from down there."
Once he gets down there, he helps Aubreen down as best as he can while trying to remain as silent as possible, appreciating the noise of the wind howling. Once Aubreen is safely down there as well, Sirius starts to creep towards Marlede, trying to remain hidden from the unknown person she is talking to.
Marlede grins if she was hoping this outcome would happen. And if the DM allows it, she will release the arrow she had been holding.
[ Longbow roll is an 18, with 15 points of piercing damage. She activated her Favored Foe ability (if it hit), which dealt an additional 4 points of damage. ]
If the reaction was not possible, then this is my action for the turn. But if it was her reaction then she will do the following during her turn:
[ Longbow roll is a 24, with 12 points of piercing damage. Assuming her Favored Foe ability applies, which added 1 point of extra damage. ]
"You're a terrible liar. Believe me, I know."
Marlede moves closer to the old crone so she doesn't lose vision and ends her turn. [ I don't believe she has any relevant bonus actions. ]
OOC: The way I interpreted Favored Foe, is that when I hit a creature, I can mark them and immediately roll the damage. After that, I can only apply the damage once on each of my turns. Let me know If this was wrong or if you rule it otherwise, DM.
The first time on each of your turns that you hit the favored enemy and deal damage to it, including when you mark it, you can increase that damage by 1d4.
Sirius disregards his original plan as he hears a fight breaking out. An overwhelming need to help his companion comes over him and it feels like his muscles expand and his agility improves significantly (Peerless athlete). (19 athletics to stay on the bridge). He looks back at Aubreen with an apologetically and jumps off the bridge seemlessly continuing running to where he heard Marlede.
Arriving at the side of his companion, a clear look of confusion flashes on his face. Why are we attacking this old lady? Not quite sure of what he should do, Sirius takes out his crossbow and gets ready to join the fight, but doesn't commit yet.
Not sure if jumping down from position 2 to 4 takes all the movement but if it does, Sirius takes a dash action to get to Marlede, or as close as possible. If he somehow makes it all the way there without dashing, he readies an action to shoot his crossbow at the crone if she attacks Marlede back.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aubreen registers the look on Sirius's face and his subsequent haste off the bridge he leaves the papers where they lie. What in the hells is that about, he thinks to himself. Dashing forward he will try to hang drop from the bridge and continue towards the running form of Sirius.
From the middle of room #3 I figure with a dash action I might reach the #4 on the map or a step past it. Despite the fact the ice is slick both on the bridge and especially the frozen river he tries to get across and down as swiftly as possible, he makes an Athletics and Acrobatics check.
He will take the fall damage from the bridge, please specify if it is 1d6 (Hang drop) or 2d6, as I believe it was 20'?

Whatever the old woman said or did, Marlede obviously didn't like it, as was evident by the sudden attack. Hesitant but trusting Marlede's judgement, Perrin springs into action and hurtles through the tunnel to attack the crone.
If he gets close enough to attack:
Bite Attack: 18 Damage: 10 piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 10 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
Marlede: As I said, readying actions outside of initiative has no mechanical benefit. This is because it encroaches on how surprise works and leads to leads to unfun play (imagine if enemies did this). Stating that your character is careful and ready for a confrontation will be of benefit in case an enemy seeks to surprise you. I agree with your interpretation on favored foe, damage can happen immediately.
Sirius & Aubreen: 20 feet distance = 2d6 bludgeoning falling damage. Rules as written, you would normally land prone unless you avoid falling damage, but I'll allow a DC 15 athletics/acrobatics check to land on your feet since you're deliberately jumping down. I'll use the checks you already rolled.
Aubreen: Hanging off works to reduce the falling distance. In this situation, Aubreen risks losing the grip with his gloves due to the condition of the bridge, but due to your rolls he hangs on and only falls 15 feet = 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
Sirius crashes into the ice, sprinting on, while Aubreen lands slightly more softly, also keeping his footing. The ice beneath your boots cracks loudly in protest, but is too thick to give way. Sirius: 6 bludgeoning damage, Aubreen: 3 bludgeoning damage. Either due to sheer luck or trained skill, both men stay on their feet. Due to needing to be careful on the slippery ice (difficult terrain), Aubreen gets a few feet past pos4 and Sirius almost reaches pos1, assuming both dash.
The womans smile disappears upon Marledes utterance and as she sees the two warriors run up. A moment later the massive spider also becomes obvious, skittering across the ceiling with speed.
Marledes arrow hits the woman, leaving her shrieking and staggering back. You notice that, while the arrow definitely met some resistance, it disappears into the thick tattered robe of the woman, as if swallowed.
Perrin tries to catch the woman from above, but she ducks back.
The crone hisses, spittle flying out of the crater that is her mouth. For a moment, Marlede thinks she sees a glimpse of something much worse beneath the sagging flesh. Unbridled hate makes itself known on the creased visage.
The woman draws back, hurrying up the steps. She shrieks: "Bastard child! You'll rue the day you dared lay a finger on Maud!" Perrin can make an opportunity attack. If he hits, she adds: "And I'll slow cook you too, after I'm done with the princess!"
The old woman dashes faster than you would give her credit for, running into the room Marlede has previously glimpsed (pos12). There, you hear her howling something in sylvan, which Marlede can understand: "Oskar, servant eternal to Maud Chislebone, up with you, we've got guests!"
Once you move halfway up the stairs, you can see that fresh blood paints the icy floor, indicating that one or more creatures were butchered here recently. More obvious than the blood are all the bones: knucklehead trout spines, humanoid skeletons in pieces, and bones of small animals and birds, along with scraps of clothing and armor and a few rusty weapons.
Sitting among the bones in the middle of the cave, next to the old woman, is a giant skeleton, partially encased in ice. Upon hearing the sylvan words, one of it's eyes fills with an eldritch glow. It doesn't seem like it's able to move at present, but the ice encasing it starts cracking.
Maud cackles, the howl of the cave giving the sound a distorted melodic quality.

Perrin lunges once again in an attempt to bite the old crone as she fled, but she proved to be much more nimble than Perrin thought possible. Undeterred, Perrin scrambles after the woman and fires a salvo of sticky webs in hopes of slowing her down.
Web Attack: 21. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
Aubreen Dash's forward, his feet slipping and sliding as he moves towards the passage way. Barely keeping to his feet he just manages to get off the frozen river and into the passage way.
The Old woman, visible now, is cackling something in a language he cant make out. Similar to the Elvish he learned as a child but otherwise indeterminate to his ear.
Sirius runs after the crone with crossbow in hand, now determined of the ill will of the woman, afyer seeing her absorb the arrow, run faster than seems phyiscally possible and chant in a language he doesn’t understand.
He runs to the stairs and with his crossbow, takes aim on the crone and releases an arrow alongside that of Marlede’s.
To hit: 9, damage: 7 piercing
If he doesn’t have enough movement to get a line of sight on the crone however, instead of shooting, Sirius dashes up to as close to the crone as he can.
Both Sirius and Aubreen (Aubreen with a dash) get halfway along the pathway to where the crone is, seeing her at the top of the stairs. While Sirius' bolt flies wide, Marledes arrow unerringly finds its way.
The old woman shrieks in pain, falling to her knees, blood splattering to the ground. She coughs, wheezing "You misbegotten brat, you rotten thistle. That hurt!"
As Maud rights herself up, a ghostly light appears beside her, shedding its glow upon horrible features. Her appearance has changed, the illusion torn away. You see staring fish eyes, rows of sharp teeth, long clawed hands, hair like algae.
"I'll flay you, rip off your skin, boil it whole, drape it on that spider. You'll wish you were dead before I'm even finished with your legs!"
Marlede and Perrin, make a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw as you behold her horrific appearance. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure:
You are frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if the hag is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to this for the next 24 hours.
Sirius and Aubreen can choose to avert their eyes if they come closer. If you do, you don't need to make the saving throw, but you'll have disadvantage on attack rolls against the hag until the start of your next turn.
Maud shrieks: "Oskar, you useless pile of bones, get a move on!"
The giant skeleton breaks off a part of its icy enclosure, the eye glowing bright. It's almost free. The massive arms look incredibly heavy, dangerous.

Head down he struggles off the ice, watching his every step to keep his footing. He hasn't seen it yet, he has only heard the last couple snippets of threats and promises from Marlede and the monstrosity. The creatures scales reflect the profane light from the orb, the horror of her visage difies law, defies the natural order. Aubreen rushes the creature and comes in low with his longsword. Slashing at her legs, then bringing the blade upward, trying to gut the fish.
Perrin almost skitters to a halt when the beast's disguise washes away to reveal a hideous monstrosity. Tymora's undergarment, this Maud creature was revolting! Bracing himself, he rushes forward to try to get a bite in, grateful that he couldn't really throw up as a spider.

DM note: Agreed Aubreen, I'd say it has at most been 20 minutes while you were searching the cave complex.
The hag is first shot by another precise arrow, then pummeled, as both Sirius and Aubreen arrive on the scene. The fishlike monster bellows, scales being scraped clean off by spear and sword. Fangs from the monster try to find purchase, it's wide eyes a passing horror. All forgotten in the moment when steel tears flesh.
Then Perrin rushes up, his fangs finding purchase in an instant, letting poison seep into the monster. He tastes the foul stench of the furs and marine odour, the tang of foul fish. The crone collapses with a gasp, motionless on the floor (unconscious, poisoned and paralyzed, but stable). The illuminating orb that was floating next to her winks out of existence.
Oskar, the name she had used for the skeleton, seems undisturbed by the hags state, working its way out of the icey enclosure. It is free, apart from one of its feet that is still trapped in a chunk of ice. It's drags it along like a prisoner might a prisoner might a ball and chain.
The skeleton roars, a hollow windlike sound. A huge arm descends upon Perrin. It might as well be a tree that falls: Attack: 14, damage: 20 bludgeoning
With its second arm, the ancient husk lashes out at Aubreen: Attack: 25, damage: 22 bludgeoning
Initiative: 1. All Adventurers < YOUR TURN 2. Maud Chislebone (unconscious), Oskar
The two loud crashes around Sirius shake him up but he still tries to strike back at the skeleton.
To hit: 12, damage: 7 piercing To hit: 10, damage: 7 bludgeoning

To hit: 10, damage: 7 bludgeoning
If one of those hits the skeleton, Sirius adds a divine smite, dealing an extra 13 radiant damage + 5 radiant damage if the skeleton is undead or a fiend.
