You don't encounter anything as you make it back to the river and continue following it east. Eventually the river bends once again and you feel tiredness taking over. You set up camp at a dry part of the river bend and make camp. Random Encounter on a 14+: 19
Before resting, Draíocht would use 7 spell slots on goodberry, leaving 2 3rd level. ( and then -5 for daily rations for all of us; could also see about feeding one to the unconscious Sandford is we want )

Draíocht would want to start trancing earlier, so his 4-hour rest is completed if a harder-than-expected foe comes in a later watch, but is good for keeping watch after.

Amiz swings twice with his battleaxe, almost felling Nothic 1. Draíocht finishes off that Nothic. Thelanis steps forward to Nothic 2 and hits with her sword. Then the Nothics press on, 2 goes for Thelanis, while 3 goes for Valar. Nothic 4 stands back and its Rotting Gaze focusses on Amiz:
