Pisgah will toss his bow behind him toward Canti as he enters a rage and then steps in front of Steel, moving two squares on the diagonal, and then to #5. As the tail forms, Pisgah grabs Big Bart and attacks #5.
Attack 1: to hit 7 (on a Nat 1)
Pisgah feels the sword twist in his grasp as he draws it and emits a guttural growl as he grips the hilt with even more determination (using Inspiration to re-roll the attack)
Attack 1: to hit 26 (on a Nat 20) 19 pts dmg slashing
Pisgah then moves in front of #1 and attacks again.
Attack 2: to hit 21 for 11 pts slashing dmg
If the tray drops to the ground, Pisgah will step forward into the space formerly occupied by #1 and lash out with his tail at #3.
OOC: Preyfire, my bad! I went by our table rule for inspiration to allow a reroll instead of advantage. I can change the narrative for the attack sequence.
Attack 1: to hit 7 (on a Nat 1)
Pisgah feels the sword twist in his grasp as he draws it and emits a guttural growl as he grips the hilt with even more determination trying to hold onto the weapon, to no avail. As he swings at the force holding the tray the sword flies from his grip before he can fully grasp it with his second hand. Swinging his tail at the force....
Attack 2: to hit 26 (on a Nat 20) 17 pts dmg (magical)
Pisgah then moves in front of #1 and attacks again with the tail.
Attack 3: to hit 21 for 5 pts dmg (magical)
If the tray drops to the ground, Pisgah will step forward into the space formerly occupied by #1 and lash out with his tail at #3.
Attack 4: to hit 20 for 5 pts dmg (magical)
His tail keeps waving around, ready to be used as a reaction to any attack he can see.
[All good. Updating the map already since I have time.]
The three trays that Pisgah attacked all drop to the ground. He feels like he hit some additional resistance, as if the trays had been held by something. Whatever it was, nothing remains behind.
Initiative: 1. Pisgah, Halleth, Jaya < YOUR TURN 2. The invisible presences (2+4 + ?) [surprised] 3. Canti, Ricon, Nikkitch < YOUR TURN
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Canti is quite shocked when Halleth rushes forward and pounds the woman (Midna? Was that her name?) into a bloody mound. She's taken aback. Looking at the rest of the room she can see, she isn't sure what to do. What are the floating trays? Is there a magician somewhere in the room? She raises her bow and follows Pisgah into the room. If something appears to attack him, she plans to attack them.
The kenku sees magic all around, a bit confusing in the moment. It's not until he sees Pisgah hit an invisible entity that he gets the gist. After a quick pan of the room, Nikk determines the greatest concentration of aura to be an area around Halleth. He aims just behind (2), enough that the cleric is out of reach, and launches a Fireball. If he's lucky, perhaps he can hit two or three of these entities.
Jaya, Rico and Steel make short work of those presences they engage, although some avoid the strikes on account of being invisible. Nikkitch releases a surge of energy, letting the room rumble and quake as the fireball detonates in the back half. Stones rain down, the air pressure threatens to take away your breath.
As the smoke clears, you see what destruction the spell has wrought. The fine tableware and food items here have been eviscerated, together with three of the presences that Nikkitch had seen before.
As soot rains down into the room, the presences 5, 7 and 8 become easier to detect. They're still mostly invisible, but they leave behind foot prints and some of the ash is sticking to their limbs.
[The invisible servants can now be targeted directly, although you still have disadvantage due to the invisible.
The presences throw themselves at Jaya and Steel. Two attack Jaya: Attack: 18, damage: 4 force Attack: 19, damage: 3 force
One attacks Steel: Attack: 15, damage: 6 force
Initiative: 1. Pisgah, Halleth, Jaya < YOUR TURN 2. The invisible presences 5, 7 and 8 [invisible but targetable] 3. Canti, Ricon, Nikkitch < YOUR TURN
Tail of the Beast Attack 1: to hit 7 (on a Nat 1 - darn it!)
...As Pisgah swipes his tail around to strike at the faintly outlined #7 the tail begins to rise but not fast enough to clear the over stuffed chair to Pisgah's left. He looks down as he sees the tail spike embed in the back amid a poof of feathers as the stuffing explodes out of the chair. Staying square to #7, he brings Big Bart down in a two-handed over head chop.
Big Bart Greatsword to hit: 12 for 13 points of slashing damage, if it hits.
As he struggles to free his tail so he may attempt to ward off an attack from #5 (assuming the servant is outlined enough that Pisgah would be able to use his reaction to boost his AC by two to 17) he shouts to Halleth, "Pivot around the unseen form to flank it and even out the attack!"
Canti shields her eyes as the fireball explodes in the back of the room. Watching the dust sift down, she notices the small evidences of invisible creatures attacking those in the room. She aims at #8 and fires two arrows (at disadvantage).
Pisgah manages to hit one of the figures and feels it dissolving away. Jaya has trouble hitting the barely visible things as they flit around him. But just as they try to close in, two shots from Canti fly true and destroy them.
It is silent in the room.
We're out of initiative.
Halleth stands over Midnas body, his shoulders making the motions of labored breathing, even though he no longer has to. He lets the mace slip out of his fingers and bends down to the dead cleric. He takes the necklace of Waukeen from her neck, lifting it against the glow of the candlelight. Speckles of blood reflect off the holy symbol.
He turns to you. His movements once again sluggish, as if he has trouble walking. His eyes are intently focused on the amulet. "Please forgive my transgressions lady. I have failed my family, I have been betrayed by my allies. Yet I have recovered the proof of my faith. I am a cleric of yours yet. Please..."
Clutching the amulet, he falls to his knees. A sense of relief enters his features. A slight smile. Halleth slowly tilts to the side and then falls to the stone floor. He remains there, unmoving, dead once more. The lust for revenge has been sated and the revenant has passed on.
From the fight and for helping Halleth fulfill his purpose, you gain: 850 XP
Pisgah bends down and turns Halleth and rolls him to his back and places the mace in his hands on his chest with the amulet laid on top.
He searches pockets and pack looking for some indication of who the family is that he spoke of saying "If we can find who is family is and where they are maybe we can send word that Halleth is at rest."
Investigation roll of 4
"I guess the Fine Fellows must have taken everything from him when they left him in the pit, there is nothing here!"
Pisgah finds a few tattered pages in the clerics pocket, but the material has been thoroughly destroyed by the glood and grime of Halleths condition. He has leaves no identifying marks behind except the last name "Garke" that he told you of.
Midna has on her person all the contents of a priest's pack, her sharran holy symbol and various coins. The coins are from various mintings and were probably all found down here in the dungeon. They amount to 120 gp.
Pisgah finds a lot of cutlery in the drawers, neatly sorted by spoons, knives and forks in a wide variety of sizes and forms. Others hold porcelain plates of matching diversity, down from small egg holders to large plates fit to serve an entire pig. They are stacked neatly and impeccably clean.
The rest of the room, save for the area scorched by the fireball, is equally tidy and the food still remaining looks eminently edible.
Pisgah will toss his bow behind him toward Canti as he enters a rage and then steps in front of Steel, moving two squares on the diagonal, and then to #5. As the tail forms, Pisgah grabs Big Bart and attacks #5.

3. Canti, Ricon, Nikkitch < YOUR TURN
Once the others obviously engage in a fight, Jaya will start running.
Turn 1, he will dash into the room.
Turn 2, he will move to #4 and attack.
Longsword attack 1: 26 dmg: 15
If #4 still there, he will attack it again. If it seems destroyed, he will move towards the bottom right question mark and attempt to attack it. D4: 3
Longsword attack 2: 22 dmg: 8
Rico will start with shooting at 4, figuring that there is something holding the tray.
Attack 23 damage 15
Then if the tray clatters to the floor, she moves into the room and shoots at 2, otherwise she stays where she is and take another shot at 4
Attack 10 (nat 1) miss
If Rico moves into the room, Steel moves in front of her to protect her from attacks.
(It seems like we're taking shots at multiple unseen servants).

"I guess the Fine Fellows must have taken everything from him when they left him in the pit, there is nothing here!"
Jaya waits until Pisgah is finished with Halleth out of respect for the fallen cleric and will then go and search Midna’s body.
Perception: 25 (nat 20)

Jaya will take the 2 rations and the waterskin so we have them, additionally, he'll hand out the gold to everyone.
24 gp for each of us.
"Thanks Jaya."
Pisgah will continue to try searching the books and shelves that remain in the room.

As Pisgah continues to look through the room, he begins to nosh on some of the dishes as he waits for the others to look around.
"Sure would be nice to have a mug of Ale right now"
Nikk as well picks through some of the leftover food. There's nothing here that immediately draws his attention, nor his curiosity.
