Crispy’s eyes lightened up at the suggestion. She wasen’t used to such kindness and for a moment didn’t know what to say, but she liked the idea, and smiled, “I would, yes!”
(The seats aren't secure enough for one to really nap on them, as there is risk of falling off when going over any uneven bump in the ground.)
"Well, keep an eye out. The swamp things sometimes are attracted to the scents of the caravan. Not much we can do about that." Mr. Migello tells the others as he ushers the cart to continue. The horses seem to head forward with a more cautious pace, taking careful steps as the ground becomes more swampy.
Borg seemed to keep quiet during the travels, seeming distracted by something. She wasn't really interacting with anyone and seemed to be on auto pilot, she hops off the cart ready and looks around the area with the others.

Kres - Aarakocra Monk - Level 1 - Lost Mines of Phandelver
Crispy looks at Borg for a moment before nodding, a slight sign on concern on her face, and that was rare. "You were thinking pretty hard, but..Ok, B."
Headed into the swamp, like three people versed in the ways of advance scouting, Akaas, Crispy, and Friedrych leap ahead and begin the process of ensuring a safe passage.
Akaas:
As you search around, you identify some fresh tracks, maybe a couple of days old, not too far from the tracks of prior caravans. They appear to be clawed prints of what may be lizardfolk, and it is in large numbers, perhaps a score of them.
Crispy:
Checking the nearby vicinity, there appears to be signs of some sort of battle that happened not too long ago. Looking around the area, there are faint scorch marks on some of the plants, and bits of dried blood elsewhere. However, there is no sign of bodies nearby.
Friedrych:
Keeping an eyeout ahead of the group while Akaas and Crispy keep their eyes focused on the nearby environment, Friedrych checks and can tell that there has been some disturbance to the foliage up the path. It could be that the leaning tree fell naturally, but it has made a good bit of cover to compliment the large hedge bush nearby it. It looks like a prime ambush spot should anything be skulking in the swamp.
"Yes," Crispy says, approaching the caravan again, "Looks like a fight happened around the area. There's faint scorch marks on some of the plants..dried blood, too. But..no bodies."
"Clawed footprints," Akaas adds. "A lot of them." He continues to look around and then back to his two companions. "Maybe 20," he says with a look of worry. "I don't recognize these tracks, but they're like a lizard's only much bigger."
Luthollal informs Friedrych of what she and the others see. He gets a pensive looks before turning to Mr. Migello to say in a loud enough voice for the others around the cart to hear: 'I don't suppose this cart has any fortifications, does it? Because I'm being informed that was a fight here a while ago. Tracks say some 20 odd lizardfolk or so. No survivors. Or bodies at least.'
A flash of fright and insight crosses his face. 'You don't suppose that lizardfolk have even bigger appetites that our friend Finlan back there? In any case, you might want to look over there.' He points out the leaning tree and the large hedge bush up the path. 'Seems like a good spot to hide and leap into an ambush from.'

(If anyone wants to head out and scout or check ahead, they can roll either Investigation, Perception, or Survival .)
“Welp, time to do my job.” Crispy says sleepily as she stumbles off the wagon, heading out ahead.
Investigation 21
Perception 13
Survival 6
OOC: It's one of the three, Crispy :)
Luthollal will take a look at the surroundings from up high and communicate what she sees telepathically to Friedrych.
Perception 3
William Brackwater: Human Fighter - The Windward Isles
Tyrgram, the Butterfly Knight: Dwarf Warlock - Secret of Greenwold
Iòlinder Corrach: Half Elf War Cleric - Allansia Adventure
Valerius Sergius Publius: Dhampir Paladin - Vae Victus
Im so good I can do all three. But, I guess i’ll choose. Hm. Let’s see. Investigation.
(I guess since we have one investigator and one perceptive person, we'll wait for a survivalist.)
OOC: What happened to Borg?
Akaas jumps out as well to help make sure the horses don't get in over their heads (literally).
Survival: 14
I hope we didn’t lose another player :(

Kres - Aarakocra Monk - Level 1 - Lost Mines of Phandelver
All of the sudden you hear a loud, high-pitched yell from behind, WAIT!!!!
Finlan jogs as fast as he can to catch back up with the cart.
*huff* So sorry *huff* I was just *huff* eating *huff* and didn't realize *huff* you guys had already left *huff*
“Ah, there you two are.” Crispy said, happy to see them both. She looked to Borg. “Hey. Everything ok..?”
Borg looks to Crispy for a few seconds before shaking her head to clear it. "Huh? Oh, yeah chick everythings fine just thinking through some stuff, nothing important. Now lets get this show on the road and kick this team into overdrive."

”Im not sure yet.” Crispy said, still concerned.

"We should be on cautious." Crispy thinks. "That sounds like potential trouble.."
