"I'll go check it out." Crispy unlatches the safeties off of her blade belt and begins to walk over to the place Friedrych was referring to - the tree and the large hedge bush.
Akaas silently moves forward towards the area. Crispy follows behind, but her lightly sluggish movements cause her to brush against bits of foliage, causing light rustling noises. As they get to the area, they don't see any sort of ambush set up, but Crispy's vocal notion seems to cause a creature to pop its head out of a nearby boggy area. It is a large brown toadlike face as its large yellow eyes glare at Crispy with inquisitive curiosity.
“GAH!” she blurts, startled. She recoils a tad from being startled her hand instinctively going to her swordbelt, but makes no other aggressive move. Damn huge frogs.
(Okay, so after initial sight, I'll put a more descriptive visual)
The froglike face seems to let out a bellowing croak in response to Crispy's outburst. The frog creature leaps back, revealing a humanoid form wearing pelts and wielding a spear and a shield. It appears to be about 5 feet tall overall, as its bulging eyes seem to be fixed on Crispy.
If you want to make a Nature check to determine what type of humanoid it is, I'll give some extra info ;-)
"Peace," Akaas says to Crispy, but watches the new creature. He smiles at it as he slowly puts his staff away. "Greetings," he says, taking a few tentative steps in its direction. "My name is Akaas." He places a hand to his chest. "This is Crispy." He indicates the human. "We mean you no harm."
The frog person makes some croaking noises vocally at Crispy, looking quite irritated that its mud bath was disturbed. It then lets out some louder croaks, as if yelling out to no one in particular, as it holds its shield up defensively.
Crispy and Akaas back away a bit. They see the frog man jump with his powerful legs to the side, keeping its shield raised. After a few seconds, some echoes of croaks can be heard in the distance.
Akaas hurries after Crispy. "The lass and I stumbled upon a native inhabitant," he says a little sadly to the wagon. "I believe we may have frightened it and that its friends may pay us a visit. We should probably take up defensive positions around our merchant friend. Hopefully, the chap will continue moving away and we can continue on ours, but let us be prepared for a less pleasant encounter just in case."

Akaas joins Crispy, with his staff ready, trying to be stealthy.
Stealth: 24
(Cripsy, if you'd like to roll Stealth, too. Also if anyone else is following these sneaky two will need to roll as well.)
Stealth: 9
Half asleep and mumbling to herself, it’s a miracle she doesnt give away Akaas’ position as well. “Alright, lets see what we got here.” she even says.

Borg will stand back ready for an attack incase there is one and do a patrol around the caravan to make sure nothing is trying to get into the cargo

Akaas looks at Crispy and then at the toad.
OOC: How big is "large"? Humanoid?
Chetin stays at the cart, feeling confident that Akaas and Crispy shall be enough to scout out and smart enough to retreat if necessary.

Crispy slows her heart rate down, and seeing Akaas’s tactic, remains docile and silent, watching the frog person carefully.
Hearing crispy's reaction to something, borg will rush over. "What's the matter chick?"

Crispy sees Borg approach, and signals: I’m ok, I just got startled my a damn frog person.
The frog person makes some croaking noises vocally at Crispy, looking quite irritated that its mud bath was disturbed. It then lets out some louder croaks, as if yelling out to no one in particular, as it holds its shield up defensively.
Crispy looks to Borg and Akaas, weary and slightly annoyed. "I have the feeling it's calling it's friends."
"Maybe if we return to the wagon and just keep going, we'll appease it," the old halfling says, not taking his eyes off the frog person.
"I like that idea." Crispy slowly turns around, and walks back to the cart.
