I believe that is correct, also how exactly does Necromancy work in this world, is it simply turning a body into a slave or trapping someone's soul in an undead Huck that you command
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Marvarax andSora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
(Okay, so we'll go on with the plan. Jimmop, as for your query the jury is still out on that. There are people who believe that the soul is entrapped as one that is raised as an undead generally are much harder to restore with resurrection-based spells)
The group steps forward into the lit area, the undead continue dancing with the two skeletons playing the music. The purple robed man sits up. "Oh for goodness sake."He says with an irritated tone in his voice. "Adventurers again. Are you wanting me to monologue or something? I was having a quiet moment here."
"Your moment was hardly quiet, but no, I was actually hoping to play along. I have to admit, I've never played accompaniment to a skeleton before!" Kithre says, holding up her lute for the man to see.
Noted: Jaylin is ready to cast Bless should things go bad.
The man in the robe rolls his eyes. "Is that the best excuse you can come up with?" He says, seemingly ignorant of Warren who is quietly sneaking up to the rear entrance to the room. He stands up from his stone seat. "Let's face it, I utilise the undead, so I'm obviously evil, right?" He gestures to the dancing zombies.
It seems the man obviously has been in such an scenario before, expecting the party to come back with their righteous members.
The man laughs a somewhat hearty laugh; not the traditional mwahahaha one would expect from a necromancer. "Only love is music?"He says. "You've obviously not been going to the right bard colleges." The zombies seem to stop dancing one by one, looking towards the flamboyantly garbed fellow. "What? I didn't say stop, keep practising!" The zombies go back to their routine ballroom dancing. "Honestly, can't get the right husks nowadays. Cheap labour's so hard to come across."
Johann says to the mage, "Well alright, what are you doing down here then? I mean, let's face it, people don't just raise the dead for no reason. So what's yours?"
Warren has a good view of this going on as he lurks quietly in the shadows, his bare outline visible to the party facing him.
"Hey, I don't need to explain this stuff to you guys." The man replies. "For your information I didn't animate these undead, they were animated when I got here. Anyway, I could ask you the same thing; what are you doing down here?"
One of the undead pair has one zombie flop its head onto the others shoulder, then it slowly begins chewing on the flesh at its disposal.
"Deanimate them?" The guy in the purple robe replies. "Oh sure, be my guest. They're a bit busy doing a recital right now, shouldn't put up too much resistance. I think I've got the moves I want from them anyway."
Kithre:
(It's been probably about 20 seconds of playing during the conversation, so you've still got another 40 if you're doing what I think you may be doing.)
Kithre smiles and in a sing-song voice tries to pick up the conversation. "It is an interesting dance. Are you a dance instructor of some sort, to teach them moves? I can't imagine it's easy."
Pokepaladdy:
(I am indeed attempting what you're thinking.... :) )
(Thats my plan at least)
(That sounds right. Kithre will definitely walk up lute in hand, smiling, playing along with the music)

Johann will follow the diplomatic group. He's told Sebastian and Jason to attack the mage if he harms any of us.

Johann joins in and says, “Well I just wanted to see some undead. They're so interesting!”

(As you can see, my rolls have improved drastically from before)
(If you'd like to make your deception roll now ;-) )
I would like to take this time to mention that Jaylin has bless prepared

"Excuse!? I'm a bard sir, and my first duty and only love is for music!" Kithre says as she starts plucking out a tune along to the skeleton's.

“We’re here to deanimate them.”

Kithre, un-flustered by the man's words, continues playing along to the music, starting to get very much into it.

(About how long have I been performing at this point?)
