I'm pretty sure 5. I think Sable killed one, Boil killed the one that Ulysse wounded, and Erzer killed one. Starting with 8 that means 5 are left. It's the wolves' turn now though.
I forgot Sable got one! Nice let's hope they are too far away to reach us so we can take a few more out.
With only 4 wolves left, they flee, seemingly trying to put as much distance between you and them as possible. They all take the dash and run 80 feet away from you, going to the left around the keep.

Sable and Ulysse, both of you rolled 6’s, so you can both go at the same time. The wolves are currently 140 feet away from you if you’d like to pursue them.

Ulysse is fine to let them run away, he knows wolves are pack animals and having the pack halved is going to be devastating enough for them to try and survive out there. "There'ss one problem down, now to get insside."
Ulysse ponders a minute, "We could move our way around the perimeter and look for an opportunity, perhapss I bring out my firey friend to teleport uss through the gate. Could try climbing I ssupposse. Or perhapss the gate is actually open, hard to tell from here really."
Sable comments, "Nn," then starts to move up quietly to inspect the door.
The gatehouse is unguarded. The passage between the gatehouse’s towers slopes up toward the north, as the ground inside the courtyard is higher than the ground outside the keep.
The gatehouse’s primary defenses are a sturdy double door behind an iron portcullis.
You cannot see the hinges on the double doors, so you can assume they open inwards towards the keep.
The bars of the iron portcullis have narrow gaps between them—too narrow for a Small or Medium character to squeeze through.
There are arrow slits in the gatehouse walls between the portcullis and the doors.

(Are the rest of us waiting to see what Sable finds or is everyone moving up to the wall? Just curious when Ulysse would start talking ways in as he would want Sables input but if they are sneaking then they wouldn'tjust talk outside the door.)
Sable waves the others over. While they're approaching, she starts climbing the wall up to the ramparts. She moves quickly, almost as fast as if she were just walking up the wall. (climb speed 30)
Good as she is at picking locks, there is no lock to be picked here, the door and the portcullis have to be opened from the other sides. But that's not a problem for Sable...
"What do you see Sable? Any trouble? Any way for us to get in?" Ulysse puts his face up to a arrow slit to see if he can see Sable or anything else in the courtyard.

You easily climb up onto the top of the wall, your claws making you an adept climbed. You look down to a gravel courtyard that is is ten feet higher than the ground outside the keep, so it’s only ten feet lower than the parapets of the outer wall. Stone staircases connect the courtyard to the top of the wall.
The courtyard is empty (apart from the keep, two smaller single-story buildings, and what looks like some sort of outhouse).
Next to you, on the wall, is the upper gatehouse. There is a closed door with a lock to get into the gatehouse from where you are on the battlements. The walls of the upper gatehouse are lined with arrow slits.

If you’d like to target the one that Ulysse already targeted, then it would die.

I would definitely do that.

Sable takes a parting shot with her short bow, even though it's not likely to do anything at such a long range.
Attack 7 (disadvantage from range)
The arrow lands amongst the wolfs, encouraging them on their way.
“Sneaky in da fort?” Boil asked
”Plan?”

Thinking that the mechanism to raise the portcullis was likely in the gatehouse, Sable picks the lock to gain entry.
