The cloak jumps off the rock and slaps itself against Sparhawk face, revealing jtself ro be another of the creatures flying around the cavern, all of which likewise lunge at the space before them, wrapping themselves around whatever stands there. In the case of one such creature, this includes Tebebril.
x Sparhawk 11 on a hit, the target is blinded and takes 13 piercing damage
Tenebril will try to blast whatever is on him with Eldritch Blast. Since he has war mage, I think that keeps him from having double disadvantage on the attacks so just three at normal disadvantage.
First amis at 11, second is at 12, and third is at 13. He's still blinded so he's going assume he needs to try harder. He's going to try to land since he's still midair in case others can help get whatever is on him off
The grab attack hits Tenebril and he's blinded again. However the tail attacks just barely misses him as he stumbles from get face grabbed (again). He decides that since he's not good at seeing anything right now, he'll rely on his hearing and targets the Cloak(?) clinging to his face with Vicious Mockery and then everyone yells a muffled sound as he yells:
“That moan? I’ve heard pixies wail scarier lullabies. You’re just a damp rag clinging to something greater than you’ll ever be.”
(Wisdom save of 18 or it takes 15 points of Psychic damage. If it fails the save, DA on next attack roll)
Wrapped in folds of living shadow, the fairy struggles as the creature tightens around him—its leathery body flexing with unnatural strength, its underside slick and pulsing.
He snarls through clenched teeth and spits out a string of venomous words, laced with arcane spite. The magic takes hold—Vicious Mockery—and the creature shudders. Its body ripples, twitching as the insult cuts deeper than flesh.
But then—recoil. A sharp, stabbing pain lances through the bugbear’s own mind, like his words bounced off a mirror made of nerves. His vision blurs for a heartbeat, and he tastes copper.
The cloak moans again, a low, resonant sound that vibrates through the bugbear’s ribs. It’s wounded—but so is he. The connection between them isn’t just physical. It’s psychic.
Bound together in a tangle of flesh and thought, they both suffer—one from mockery, the other from the echo.
Sparhawk is able to avoid the attack but the psychic damage racks his mind. He cries out in pain, glancing at the fairy. “I’m connected to it somehow.”
Sparhawk wis save 18 He moves to within 10 feet of the cloak (Divine sense)

Wis Save 10 + 6 (Dark One's Own Luck) - Tenebril just barely passes the save before it sends him trying to hide even farther into the shadows.
Tenebril looks around trying to see what the "cloak" actually is as no mere cloak could have forced him to fight through such fright.
(I'm guessing roll init?)

Tenebril is up, blinded, and there are some saves against frightened.
“Maybe something invisible here, see the green blood?”

<Maybe bad narration? You stabbed it with a sword. It bled.>
<Tenebril lands himself, but not any hits. Anyone else (Kos, maybe? Gharzun's on vacation) can enter if they pass the fear effect from the moan>

"Sorry, didn't realize others were as wrapped up in this as I was", you can hear the fairy awkwardly giggle a lil as he says it.
<Maybe I worded it poorly. The creature is on Tenebril, who hurt both the creature and himself by casting vicious mockery. Sparhawk takes no damage.>
Sparhawk is up (Gharzun and Kos are outside and can enter if they make the save vs frightened)
(Ooc, ah… you said bugbear.)
