"Insolent worm. The only being worthy of my protection is me!" The dragon shouts as the bugbear's maul smashes down on his face. "Zawtnak!" he spits, at which a mass kf maggots rises feom the earth at Sparhawk's feet. Taking wing as they methamorphose to flies who bite and harry the bugbear, delvi g into his fur and tearing at his flesh with their vicious mouth parts. DC17 Dex save or 22 poison damage and DA ro maintain concentrarion until end of next turn.
Tenebril takes advantage of the black dragon's lack of focus on him and he darts up a lil higher to get a better range on it. He starts firing off his Eldritch blast before he gets fully set, trying get as much damage in on it as he can before he becomes its next target. He fires off the first beam but without being fully set, he misses his mark (beam 1, attack 13, misses) and it goes whistling by the dragon's head and blasts the ground just feet from the statue. The next two he takes care to correct his aim and they hit true blasting him right in the face (beam 2, attack Nat 20 [30total] 16damage, beam 3 Nat 20[30total] 23damage. As they hit his previous spell's true effects take hold and the dragon gets hit with necrotic damage (5) right after the second beam makes contact with him. The next one has the full force of the Eldritch blast behind it but doesn't have the follow up necrotic damage this time.
Tenebril yells at Sparhawk, "A lil healing incoming your way." as 5point of healing flows to him from the dragon.
Tenebril flies up 30ft and then casts Field of Reaping on the group and dragon. The Dragon is hostile. (not sure if I have to set the nonhostile creature per casting or per heal from the spell). (Is it dim light near where he is at now)
Tenebril yells, "That's it, I'm out of spells. Gonna do what I can though."
< Sorry, missed this before... so it just shifts 5 necrotic from the dragon to a player? This seems intended for a mob.>
(Yeah, I definitely misread it when I picked it. I thought it was from each attack, not just first in a turn, so all others in the turn are normal. I would pick something else if I could)

Just call it a scroll-found spell and add another to your spellbook. I'll also call it a BA (just this time) so that and the EBs are all round 1. Good?
The dragon's claws flash at Gharzun and Sparhawk, and with a gutteral utterance, he launches an acid arrow at Tenebril.
x Gharzun: 22 for 13 slashing plis 4 acid damage
x Sparhawk 23 for 13 slashing plis 4 acid damage
x Tenebril 30 for 13 slashing plis 4 acid damage
Players are up
As this is the second attack on Gharzun since his turn, and he used Shield as a reaction, and it has not gotten back to his turn yet, this will also miss, as his AC is 26 with Shield already up.
The dragon’s claw swept down, a strike meant to crush and tear. Gharzun’s training answered faster than thought—words of warding hissed between his teeth, his shield flashing with sudden arcane light. The claw screeched against the barrier, the impact shuddering through his arm but failing to break through.
He used the momentum of the block to drive forward, hammer rising in a soldier’s arc. The first blow crashed into scaled hide with bone-jarring force, a veteran’s precision finding its mark. Without pause, he reset his stance and followed through with a second strike, heavier still, the head of the weapon slamming into the dragon with brutal finality.
Where the beast had sought to overwhelm, Gharzun answered with discipline and steel, anchoring the line with every breath.
Reaction: Cast Shield, raising AC by +5 until the start of his next turn. The dragon’s claw attack misses.
Action: Warhammer, two attacks
Attack 1: 19 to hit — 13 bludgeoning damage.
Attack 2: 25 to hit — 16 bludgeoning damage.
Position: Holding melee range at the dragon’s front, shield angled high.
Aura (active): Aura of Protection – allies within 10 ft gain +4 to all saving throws.
Koselig will cast Mass Healing Word on everyone giving them 6 hp each and then take the Dodge action.
"Dragon!!! It's a bloody dragon! Slay it!"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Sparhawk is hit hard by the dragon. (OOC: Sparhawk has a 15 foot reach with long limbed and maul: Just checking if dragon can attack him with claw and others, also, declared being behind some rocks, did that give him an ac boost?).
Sparhawk attacks (with advantage) with his huge maul: (misses with the first attack, 22 to hit (15 bludgeoning damage)
As Gharzun's shield spell flares and his counterstrike bites into scale, the dragon rears back—not in pain, but in affront. The dragon’s wings unfurl, scraping the vaulted ceiling, dislodging ancient dust and fragments of broken glyphs. The hoard of treasure shivers, as if reacting to his fury.
Then, the shadows deepen. From the cracked stones and shattered relics, a pulse of dread radiates outward. The air grows heavy, thick with the scent of rot and old magic. The walls seem to lean inward, whispering forgotten names. And then, the dragon speaks.
“You dare strike me in the sanctum of greatness? This lair is mine now. I am Calumnus, Sovereign of the Mire, rightful master of Iggwilv’s legacy!"
The claim rings hollow to those who know the lore—but the dungeon itself responds. Not in agreement, but in confusion. The lingering magic of the Witch Queen stirs, warped by Calumnus’s intrusion.
The fear is real.
Sparhawk feels his divine resolve flicker as the shadows coil around his feet.
Gharzun's mind reels, the dungeon geometry twisting into impossible angles.
Tenebril, still aloft and burning from the acid arrow, watches the darkness rise toward him like a tide.
(LA: fear x Sparhawk and Gharzun. DC 17 Wis or drop what your holding and dash away. I think you both have overlapping auras, but i don't think they stack. I don't think the map has changed since last posted)
This is no spell. It is a natural fear effect, born of Calumnus’s overwhelming presence and the dungeon’s unstable magic. A false king crowned by his own delusions—but dangerous nonetheless.

<Even if he had to move it wouldnt teigger aoo from Gharzun because of his huge size, hed still ne within 5ft of him. The rend attack has a reach of 10ft. If another effevt would be trigfered kr anything prevents him from moving, i missed it i didnt apply cover, because they made melee attacks or are flying. So, if they are behind cover making said attacks and applied a +2 or +5 penalty or would like me to add those to the dragon's ac for those attacks, we can do that and modify the results above likewise. Just let me know. >

Is the lighting changed, to like dim light or darkness anywhere? I was just typing up Tenebrils next action but this will likely change it.
