You guys decide. We can do this the traditional way (everyone takes their turn in order), or the way I suggested (just log in and take your turn).
The 1st round has officially begun after Magnus took his turn. The Ochre Jelly will act after everyone takes their turn if you choose my method.
OOC: At the moment Willow casts Healing Wordrestoring 6 HP to Drako when her turn in order comes in combat, as her intended Bonus Action and leaving her action to be decided as the turn begins and gets underway and most like if need use healer feat and kit even if it puts her in the line of fire as it were.
Nigel pepares to cast a spell but As Drako, Vabrix and Magnus crowd the door way pummeling the jelly their proximity gives the wizard pause. Nigel holds back his spell until he has a clearer line of sight.
As Drako regains consciousness he says, "Thank you for your aid, friends." He gets up and draws his flail to strike out. "Take back what you gave, foul beast!"
Movement: 15ft to stand up from prone. Action: Attack
Nigel pepares to cast a spell but As Drako, Vabrix and Magnus crowd the door way pummeling the jelly their proximity gives the wizard pause. Nigel holds back his spell until he has a clearer line of sight.
[ Nigel can make an attack roll against the Ochre Jelly from where he is, but it would get three-quarters cover from Drako standing in the way. Making it a 13 to hit unless Drako says he moves during his. ]
[[ Had considered moving away, but with only 15ft left after standing up from prone felt it made more sense for him to stay in the doorway and attack. Next round definitely will consider a disengage and retreat if that works better. ]]
Vabrix will Rage as a Bonus Action, then attack the Ochre Jelly with his Ol' Reliable Quarterstaff as an action! [ The Ooze has half cover. ]
To hit: 14
Damage: 8
The Ochre Jelly is barely holding on!
Willow
With the 6 hit points restored to Drako, he is at full health. I believe Sacred Flame ignores cover. Herb will follow your directives whenever you're ready.
Nigel
Drako did not move this turn, but you can still command Archie as you see fit. You are currently holding which spell?
The temple is smoothly hewn from solid rock. The following features are common throughout:
Ceilings. Ceilings throughout are 10 feet high and flat.
Doors. All doors are made of carved stone with stone pins for hinges. Secret doors blend in with the surrounding stonework. Finding a secret door requires a search of the wall and a successful DC 15 Wisdom (Perception) check. [ I will allow Investigation checks, too. ]
Dust and Debris. The temple is choked with dusty rubble. Rubble-filled squares are difficult terrain (see the Basic Rules).
Light. There are no light sources in the temple.
With a 2 on their dex save, the Ochre Jelly is defeated!
[ Nigel, if you were readying a leveled spell, the spell slot is expended. If it was a cantrip, nothing happens. ]
After the Ooze sizzles out of existence from Willow's Sacred Flame, you have time to examine the room it was hiding in.
Vestry:An empty stone font juts out of the southwest wall. A stone wardrobe against the east wall holds the rotted remains of two suits of red leather armor (vestments worn by priests of Abbathor, now ruined and worthless).
Drako wipes the ball of his flail. "Another good whack like that and I may have to call you Oozerender," he chuckles. Not wanting to dwell on the ooze's first strike, he turns to the others, "You guys alright?" Looking at the room he adds, "First a sacrifice chamber, then sleeping quarters, now a wardrobe. Perhaps a kitchen next?" He pauses and quips, "Or a latrine."
Nigel puts quill to paper detailing his map as well as their encounter.
" I am fine. Thank you for asking. I'm sure whatever lies beyond will soon regret their encounter with us. Again I would insist we not tarry. There are still others to warn."
After the sizzling demise of the Ochre Jelly under her Sacred Flame, Willow breathes a sigh of relief, her pale blue eyes sweeping over her companions to ensure their wellbeing. Her gaze lingers momentarily on the empty stone font and the tattered remnants of red leather vestments, remnants of a religious fervor long extinguished.
Willow steps closer to the vestry, her fingers brushing against the cold stone, sensing the echoes of past ceremonies and the solemn air that still clings to the decaying fabrics. "It seems each corner of this temple holds remnants of lives devoted to and perhaps lost under the shadow of Abbathor," she muses softly, her voice a reflective murmur amidst the silent stone.
Turning to Drako, she offers a gentle smile, appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood. "I'm glad we have you, Drako, to fend off these threats. 'Oozerender' does have a certain ring to it," she replies with a hint of mirth.
Addressing the group, her tone becomes more contemplative. "While the remnants of this place hold a somber tale, our journey here holds purpose. Nigel, your insistence on urgency is well-heeded. There are indeed others who rely on our warning. Let us proceed with caution but without delay."
Willow's suggestion carries a note of calm resolve. "Perhaps we should explore methodically, ensuring we miss nothing that might later prove of importance or danger. Each room tells a part of the story, and understanding it fully might give us an advantage,"she adds, looking towards the next doorway with a readiness born of both caution and a deep-seated duty to those they are sworn to protect.
As they regroup to move forward, Willow stands ready, her healer’s kit always at hand, her spirit bolstered by the shared strength of her companions. Her presence, though quiet, is a steady source of light in the dim corridors of the ancient temple.

[ As there are no more threats inside the ruins, I decided to reveal the rest of the secret rooms and tunnels and marked them with colors. ]
As the party emerges from the Vestry, their footsteps echoing chamber, they find themselves at a crossroads of sorts:
To the west (Green), concealed by the shadows, lies a secret tunnel, its entrance obscured by ancient stonework. Having grown accustomed to uncovering hidden passages throughout their exploration of these ruins, the you all quickly discern the telltale signs of a concealed entryway. The tunnels lead towards the Altar at the entrance of the ruins.
To the east (Purple), the hallway stretches onward, its path obstructed by a barricade of rubble and debris. The scattered remnants of fallen stonework suggest a partial collapse, blocking any further progress along the corridor. However, with the combined strength and expertise of Dazlyn and Norbus, clearing the obstruction becomes a tantalizing prospect. The sturdy dwarven prospectors, accustomed to toiling amidst the unforgiving terrain of the mountains, could offer their assistance.
To the south (Red), after opening the door, the party can see a partially collapsed room. Half-buried in the rubble here is the skeleton of a dwarf priest wearing rotted red leather armor. Around the skeleton’s neck hangs a holy symbol of Abbathor: a tiny jeweled dagger on a silver chain. The symbol is inscribed with Dwarvish runes that translate to “Greed is good,” and is worth 50 gp.
Current State of the Map:
You can all tell me how you'd like to proceed after charting the parts of the map you can all reach without excavating (Purple). The more people work on removing the rubble/debris, the faster you will all reach the other side. It will still take multiple hours of work.
If you'd like to discuss it out of character, you may do so.
Drako looks at the rubble, "Those dwarves had a tough time with oozes. Odds are they'll have a tough time with whatever is in there." Mulling the situation he adds, "We're getting late in the day. Even with their help we would likely be staying the night, unless you feel like travelling in the dark to the midwife's home." He also takes a look at the rubble wondering if his lightning breath might be able to expedite things.
Heading back to the priest's skeleton he takes the holy symbol and tosses it to Nigel. "We can figure out what to do with that back in town." Privately he wishes to see it melted down.
As you'd expect Nigel goes about cataloging and documenting everything. But when it comes to removing debris he reasserts the time frame. He does so with a fervor one might expect to be born more from an adversion to physical labor than any real concern over how long it would take.
As the group deliberates at the crossroads of the ruins, Willow observes the artifacts and debris around them. "These relics hold heavy stories," she remarks softly, nodding toward the jeweled dagger Nigel holds. "It reminds us of the deeper currents of history that flow through these walls."Addressing the group, she agrees with Drako, "Given the late hour staying here through the night seems prudent. We should conserve our strength and ensure our safety in these unfamiliar confines."
She glances at the obstructed corridor and adds, "Our dwarven friends' expertise could be vital in clearing this path. Meanwhile, Nigel can continue his important work cataloging our findings without the strain of manual labor."
"Let's set up camp in a defensible part of the ruins," Willow suggests. "We'll organize shifts for keeping watch to ensure our safety through the night."Then she adds, "This strategy will allow us to rest and stay alert, preparing us for tomorrow’s exploration or journey back."With this approach Willow seeks to prioritizes safety while conserving the group’s energy for the challenges ahead.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Drako doesn't seem to notice Nigel's dawdling. Instead he says, "Don't worry. It's as Willow says, we're already planning to stay here overnight anyways. Some extra time digging won't hurt."
≥11
Drako rolls his eyes slightly, "Come on, lad. Some manual labor would do you good. I hear calloused hands prevent paper cuts."
As Willow concludes Drako concurs. "Aye, camping here sounds like a plan." He debates casting thaumaturgy to shout back at the dwarven miners before second-guessing such an action in the location of a former cave-in. He turns to Nigel, "While Rix and I get started on clearing this debris, you want to go ask the miners for their aid?"
If that previous die roll was ≤10 he says so with a genuine tone. If it was ≥11 he adds a teasing undercurrent to his words.
Nigel feigns a slight look of perturbed offense to cover the reality that the reddish tint to his cheeks was more due to embarrassment than anger. When Drako suggests Nigel see to the dwarves, Nigel pushes his glasses up onto the bridge of his nose and says with a bit of a huff,
"Well of course. It's only logical to have the most experienced diggers dig. I was just about to do so. I seemed hesitant only because I wanted the most current of information of our progress." Nigel briskly walks off, his bluster only more confirmation of his desire not to get his hands dirty.
