Hox nods as he looks to Elrik, "Hox no good in numbers, but he can be quiet and hard to see. Me can do something like dwarf man says. Make worgs and orcs confuse by Hox. Then the little clans girls can run off to you clans men."
"Orcs are vile brutes, what they lack in brains they have in brawn. No leader picks a fight where the circumstances favor the enemy, he uses their strength against them. They have numbers but that can be their weakness. Let them strike at us and fall into a trap that packs them together for slaughter and renders their worgs worthless. Wars on not won with strength alone."

Thane begins to argue with the majority decision, but is quickly cut off by shouts from the Reaver company trailing behind the group.
Mounted Longhunt orcs have suddenly appeared on the upper horizon, flanking the party on the east and west of the steppe the group is traveling on. They are motionless. Roccar gives a subtle hand signal, motioning the group to keep trotting. It is silent. Even old, crazy Poe has stopped his muttering and rambling. A river enters your sight just ahead, and Roccar shouts his command, kickstarting a frenzy.
"Go! There's our chance, get to the river! We'll hold them off there!" he shouts, racing for the water. The orcs, each riding a vicious-looking worg, rumble across the steppe, hollering and shouting war cries. The party crosses the river, splashing across to a small henge of standing stones on the far bank.
"Reavers, defensive formation! Thane, you and your group provide as much ranged cover as you can!"
The majority of the orcs peel away from the charge, grouping together in the distance, while a smaller group charges toward the Reavers, who have formed a defensive line on your side of the river.
Tracking: The first line of orcs is approximately 300 feet away from you, 270 feet away from the Reavers' defensive line.
OOC: Initiative for this fight will be resolved in order of posting. Once each character has posted their turn, I will advance.
Knowing full well that neither ranged nor mounted combat suits him well, Elrik dismounts and holds a throwing axe in each hand. Dwarvish threats and curses can be heard escaping through his clenched teeth. "Rakhâs, Baruk Elrik! Khuzd ai-mênu!"
The dwarf positions himself in such a way to ensure that orcs, upon reaching the river's edge, will be within range of his throwing axes.
While the Orcs are forming up and advancing Volthero moves behind the defensive line readying Create Bonfire for a charge so the attacking force must walk though the flames before reaching the line.
"They said the worgs are trained to walk through flames, let us see if that holds true." A clear smile is seen on his face and a visible excitement fills his movements as he anticipates the battle to come.
OOC: A space away from the defenders would be water, but you could create bonfire on the other side of the river. Also note that it requires concentration, so only one space can be filled at a time.
I also forgot about two people in my description - the Reavers have dismounted before forming their defensive line, while Old Poe and Jarl tie the horses to some of the stones, keeping them calm.

The orcs seem to completely ignore Diana's illusion as they charge across the makeshift battlefield, the worgs' powerful feet launching them toward the Reavers at blinding speed. Ten in total can be seen as they approach. Hox grazes an orc with his first arrow, while Fargim's falls short. Volthero and Elrik prepare for the orcs to come within range.
Thane pull his longbow off of his back and readies a shot. In the blink of an eye, he has fired three arrows across the battlefield. Two of them find purchase in an orc in the center of the line, dropping it dead off of its worg, which halts its charge, and runs off.
"Aim for the orcs!" he shouts, "The worgs won't advance without a rider!"
The Reavers each draw a longsword and shortsword in coordinated fashion, creating a line of terrifying steel. Roccar pulls his javelin off of his back, and awaits the moment to throw.
Tracking: The first line of orcs is 170 feet away from you, and 200 feet away from the Reavers' defensive line.
Volthero hoist his Greataxe from his back and has it ready by his side. He holds it with one hand but keeps his other free, twirling his fingers in preparation of his spells once the Orcs come into range.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: It's been 24 hours, so I'll assume Fargim is taking the same action as last turn.
I never mentioned it, so this one is a valid use, but I typically play that a use of inspiration must be called out before a roll is made. We'll do that going forward.
Both Hox and Fargim fire shots that fall short, as Elrik and Volthero continue to hold until the worgs are within range. Roccar and The Reavers take up a cheer as Diana performs a battle song, chanting and shouting along, fingers twitching in preparation for the approaching slaughter.
Thane ignores all of this, becoming impossibly quick. Six more arrows fly from his longbow, half of them reaching their targets, dropping another orc in the middle of the line. Its worg trails off as the orc falls.
The remaining 8 worgs do not slow in the least, continuing their charge forward. The orcs shout, thirsty for blood, and draw javelins. Behind them, another wave of orcs can be seen making a charge.
Tracking: The first line of orcs is 100 feet away from you, and 70 feet away from the Reavers' defensive line.
Fargim is with Thane. "****ers killed my clan. They need to die, worgs and all! I'm for all-out assault."
Hox nods as he looks to Elrik, "Hox no good in numbers, but he can be quiet and hard to see. Me can do something like dwarf man says. Make worgs and orcs confuse by Hox. Then the little clans girls can run off to you clans men."

Volthero spits on the dead orc as they ride by.
Diana had already forgotten about fried chicken Arugg and the whole mission.
What's done is done. Why not just go rogue and do what she wants?
- Can we take some Orc king as a hostage? then we'll trade him for girls and kill all orcs after. That seems like a good plan.

Hox takes his shortbow out and strings an arrow towards the encroaching orcs. He lets it loose, letting it fly to the score of orcs.
Attack: 7 Damage: 7
Diana casting minor illusion cantrip: creating orc that would look like a chieftain. She would like to imitate an captive.
She's standing behind defensive line and screaming.
- We got your chieftain! If you approach any closer, we will kill him!
Fargim takes out his light crossbow, aims and takes a shot. Attack: 24 Damage: 17
OOC. I apologize.. it's with disadvantage. The second roll 6. So that's a miss.. what a shame.
OOC: Ah totally forgot about disadvantage
14 ...Uh okay?
Completely overlooked it being concentration on that. There goes our ring of fire XD. I edited the post to follow that.
