Like a stereotypical moth to a stereotypical flame, stereotypical Zubeki breaks from the group and starts to walk towards the robe, eyes fixed upon it. The gold is threaded so delicately through the jade colored fabric, his hand seems to raise by itself as he gets closer to it. He stops about 10' away and brings his hand to his chin. "Wait, the liquid in the bowl... if this place has been abandoned, how has that not evaporated? I know the high humidity would preserve pooling water, but this place seems to be undisturbed for decades." He studies the bowl and the knife from where he stands, trying to recall anything he has read about yuan-ti. (Arcana: 17)
"The knife... must be used for... sacrifice..." Zubeki rubs his fingers across his eyes and sighs. This heat is sapping him on this common sense. "Alright. What do we want to do? I can summon a servant if we're worried about these items having some sort of protection like the statue, as for this robe..." Zubeki stares at the delicate fabric. "...if no one cares, I'd like this to be in of our half of the treasure." He cautiously walks up to it and stretches out his staff to lift it from its hook.
"Does it look like it has been used recently? Any idea what's in the bowl? How long do Yuan-Ti live anyways? Could they still be around?"
Zee looks at the altar once again and stares at the knife. She then looks around the room examining the floor. "If you notice, there is no dust or cobwebs in this room. It is fairly clean compared to the entrance hallway. She points to a spot in the rug. "Look there, you see it? It's a foot imprint and not from one of us. It looks fairly fresh."
She walks back over to the bowl and looks inside and shrugs. "I have no idea what that is. And I have no idea how long the Yuan-Ti live. A Pureblood might live as long as a human would but the more powerful Yuan-Ti could live for centuries. And since we found that footprint, something is still around in here."

Zee shrugs. "Be my guest and take it. That's fine with me. I was originally going to say we sell everything and split the money fifty/fifty but if you want to do it by items instead I am good with that."

Zubeki takes the fine robe off the top of his staff and holds it high in the air, keeping his staff pinched under his arm. The color is magnificent, and the thread work, while not the cleanest lines, was done with such an amazing thread. But if this was to be worn during sacrifice... Zubeki investigates it closely for any damage, blood stains, or hidden pockets (Investigation: 10)
As you make a thorough examination of the robe you do find a pocket on the inside of it. It's large enough to hold a book(paperback sized), a small blade (six inches or so), and other small things. It is in perfect condition and has no stains on it at the moment.
Naivara steps into the room and looks at everyone else before looking at the items. She slowly approaches the blade and lifts it, rubbing her thumb and forefinger along the blade, even tapping the edge to test its sharpness, if there is blood on it she shows no sign of caring if it gets on her.

The Dagger is razor sharp and as you rub your fingers along the blade they get cut.
Naivara hums and looks at the dagger before looking at everyone else. "if no one minds I would like to take this." She raises the blade a bit to look at the handle, looking thoughtful before she looks at Zubeki getting the robe down. She then looks at Vrak and at Jolly to see what has caught their interest within the room.

Jolly has been steadfastly quiet since the magic show of lights. At a glance it would quickly become clear that the room left him visibly ill, or more pointedly the smell given the silly attempt at keeping some of his longer bangs beneath his nose. He has also pointedly kept from entering too deeply into the room, as well as from looking at the Altar. It took Zee's mention of tracks for the Firbolg to come close, and even then he only physically gets close enough to try and trace their path. As he does he mutters through a prayer more out of comfort than conscious intent, though the results are the same.
At some point after the search, noting the look from Naivara, he tries his best to smile away any signs of discomfort... and is not remotely successful. Still, it is there for only so long before he furrows his brows in worry at Naivara. "Nono. No good." He hustles away briefly to grab the healer's kit back from Morfinion (hopefully w/o trouble), then returns just as swiftly to the elf, curtly motioning for her hand. Even if she doesn't catch on to the meaning behind the gesture, short of blatant declaration (direct or just vocal) of resistance, he'll thoughtlessly take her hand, start applying salve to the wound.
"Must be careful, wolf cub, 'less wish to attract bad spirits already lured to this 'twisted' place."He chides in a fatherly fashion, then looks to the others. "Same goes for rest, especially you, young Zubeki."

Vrak begins to get a concerned look on his face. "Now that I think about it, the entrance we came in had cobwebs, but once we rounded the corner its been fairly clean. This temple is certainly still in use and there must be a separate entrance somewhere. The footprint proves it. It would not stay there for years on end. If we take these items they will know for sure we were here. We can't rest in the temple due to the poison so we will have to be extra watchful tonight. Perhaps it would have been best if we scouted around the temple first so we had an idea of how big it is and if there was another entrance"
Jolly looks around the room trying to find where the tracks lead to but there is only that one track on the rug. You can't find any more to follow.
Zee studies the altar as she runs her hands along it. "I haven't seen an altar like this in all my years of archeology." She tries to move it but it doesn't budge. "If we could get this to Port we would never have to do anything again in 10 lifetimes. We would have the wealth of nations at our disposal."
"I have no idea if anything is still living in here but it would make sense since this area is nice and tidy compared to the hallway near the main opening. There must be a secret entrance or two. If it is occupied we must tread carefully."
At this point everyone makes a Con save vs poison DC 10 If you pass nothing happens If you fail you take 1 damage.

Naivara looks at Jolly when he applies salve the the little cuts she had gained from the dagger, once it is applied she makes sure she is holding the dagger by the handle without anything touching the blade. She looks at the others, "Then should we leave the stuff as it is or shall we take it? I believe this job was to split anything of value, or the gold, 50/50. Enemies are obviously expected of course."
Jolly's absent-minded smile of amusement at seeing trying to move the alter turns into a sudden grimace. "Might... mmph… already too late, for that."He states, rubbing his noggin with the edge of his staff. If he sees any looks for emphasis, he'll just gesture to their feet, noting any debris from outside having fallen off. A quick shake of the head dispels any lingering disorientation. "Our entrance wasn't entirely quiet, this one not think. But either way, it is up to you, leader Vrak. So long as we do not delay too long, all should be well."

"We'll keep the stuff. If they are using them to do their evil things then they can't now. But friend, you suddenly seem to be little greener than you were a moment ago. Everything ok?"
Jolly cannot help but chuckle. "Are you sure yer not of 'ol Nathair Sgiathach blood, leader Vrak? Or are jest another boon of your Bahamut?" He asks innocently. "Heheh… A jest. This one will be fine... mm~ For a time more. Now, if we are resolved then, shall we continue?" Before stepping on to lead the way, he'll look back and forth between Zee and warily at the alter a few times.
Ultimately, he just shakes his head in dismissal to focus on venturing forth back into the hall, and down whichever way Vrak decides on next for the group.

"We'll leave the gunk bowl and altar for now. Let's continue up that hallway and see if we find anyone home. "
Vrak gathers the group back together and lets them all know they will continue on. Once they are back in order they will head up the long hallway on the west side.
You make it to the end of the corridor and peek around the side and see another long hallway with multiple intersections throughout it. The first passage to the North has a door ten feet away. You swear you can hear something coming from the southern door but you can't tell from this distance.
"Jolly, take a look at the door to the north. Just see what type of door it is. Then go past and check the first passage to the south and see what there is. That looks like it will lead back to the room we passed earlier. If there is a door handle that we can get in that room Naivara, Zubeki, Zee and I will come forward and we will go in that door and check the room out. Slem, Morfinnion and Faren will circle back around and try to make entry through the door on the other side. If there is no obvious door handle on the door to the south then we will go back around and try and get in the room through the door we passed earlier"
He looks at those last three.
"Hold here for a moment. We will signal to you that we are going in that room. We'll wait one minute for you to get around to the other door and then we will go in. You get in the other door as fast as you can or we will open it from the inside for you."
