"Oh it's a pleasure to hear you speak of Caelius! So you know him as well! This is a good day. You really are well supported and that is a pleasure. Quintus unfortunately has been lacking of late, as you obviously have felt, and for that I deeply apologize. [pausing, bowing low again] Matters are being attended to, I assure you... Pressing forward [strolling again], we are set to make the final move for the cause and are prepared to compensate you handsomely for your support in this closure. With the last sweep of the enemy, we shall put an end to all of this back and forth. One note of utmost importance still remains: the crystal. Have you heard of or come in contact with this artifact? Have your scouts gathered any information on it? It is extremly dangerous! If so, I need not go on about its importance and prolong the length of this conversation further; only to stress its deathly effects and the need to combine our knowledge and efforts."
Grabius is continually flamboyant in his mannerisms and gestures, strolling slowly and confidently to the right (Blurgh's left). I will try to stay ahead of Zerxius to give reason for the party's movement and drawing attention should the rest of the group do anything.
"Um..." Blurgh stared, confused by the extreme flamboyance of the gnome. "Well... Blurgh would say...it is with the mushroom folk. Quintus went to go get it for me...."
Blurg snapped his fingers and a monstrous spider above him descended and crawled onto his back. The spider was human sized, and apparently had been preparing to strike the adventurers unawares.
"What do yous know?" He asked, trying to seem as dignified as a bugbear could.
"You are a sly one! [Grabius smirks] And that is a beautiful arachnid you have there. Is this the lovely Leena I've heard great things about? She is splendid. But I digress... I guess I should share some information if we are to band together for this next act. The crystal it seems is a dangerous artifact that supposedly brings death to all it touches--thus the reason why it's so valuable. Quintus had withheld some of this information; another reason why we're here [glancing around the group, making eye contact with as many of us as possible] and seeking to finish this long endeavor (and why Quintus is being dealt with as we speak). Your distrust of Quintus speaks to your fine character! Imps can be too fickle, changing on a whim. While deep gnomes [motioning to himself] and strong bugbears [motioning to Blurgh] are as sure as these walls. Your intelligence is inspiring. With that being said, I submit that it's time to join forces to bring and end to this war...today, now. Are you with us? Can we share in the glory of battle today and watch our enemy crumble under our feet?"
Grabius will slowly stroll forward, hands resting primarily behind his back as he talks with each step; however long that might take until preferably ~20ft away. I'm assuming the throne room is somewhat large.
Those behind Grabius that choose to pay attention should notice that he is resting his hands on 2 daggers, in case things go sideways.
Blurgh stared for a minute but then slumped back down on his throne. "Hmph...the mighty Blurgh is mighty...but king blurgh is not the king of Caelius. I don't want him to get angry with Blurgh..."
The hobgoblin reached into a pouch on his leather armor and produced a small, black orb.
"This is my gem, the mushroom folk knows that I keeps it wherever I goes. Bring me the stone and we's will talk about an alliance."
Boxey stares at her companions. "So do we go after the mushroom people? Ghompus is kind of pompus but he fought alongside us and Blurgh's men attacked us."
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Sorry for the slow response, I got slammed with work.
“Now this is quite an interesting predicament and puts us at a bit of an impasse. Caelius ordered us to come gather your assistance in this final endeavor and I trust his strategy. Are you perhaps speaking as if we must now work for you in order to gain your trust? Am I to return to Caelius with this retort? (Because we both know what his response shall be) We have arrived in earnest and must not hold ourselves in delay further. If you no longer desire to be free of the ‘shrooms, perhaps we should seek a solution elsewhere. Perhaps the mighty Blurgh is waning and has no true allegiance with Caelius. Perhaps the orb you hold has given you more security than our lord. It is a shame how such a small item could drain the conviction of the mighty Blurgh. We must return in haste or our leader will grow suspicious. This is a sad day for sure.”
Grabius smirks a little at the start and then goes straight-faced. He holds a stern gaze with Blurgh and tightens his grip, slowly stepping back 5-10 feet.
Blurgh scratched his head, missing half of what the gnome was saying. At this point he was so exhausted he decided to throw reason out the window. "Then let's all go to mushroom folk town...and takes it together!" He said, with a wolfish grin as he hefted his mace into his free hand, patting it ominously.
"That's the spirit! Let's see the mighty Blurgh in action!! Lead the way great sir and let's all follow our strong ally, watching how he carries his deadly mace!"
Grabius looks back to the party and winks to those who catch eyes with him.
The bugbear then stood and led the party back out of the castle. It seemed that the party had finished off most of the guards, as no goblins or hobgoblins were present on the way out. However, the party had only reached the entrance of the goblin lair when a poof of red smoke sent a tiny, red, horned creature in front of them.
"Blurgh, what are you doing?!" Quintus squeaked. He looked about at the group, with a sly smirk. "This is convenient, this bugbear is nothing but a thorn in my side. Blurgh if you don't stand down we will slay you where you stand."
Blurgh folded his arms defiantly. "Blurgh does not have a master!"

Boxey will squint at the spider while standing near the back of the room, trying not to draw attention to herself.

Boxey is going to hold an action. If Blurgh or his spider attacks Grabius, she is going to cast Guilding Bolt on the attacker.
