Blaizette calls back, "Grelinda is already fetching her. Can I help in another way?"

Tane responds with a grunt and a quizzical look. Then Tine grunts at him, and the three start to exit the tavern. They'll get as far as Schuyler's unconscious body.

Kristofferson, what would you like to do now?

Kristofferson will drag the dwarven woman as far as he can back into the tavern.

Kristofferson: you manage to get her half way back to the tavern.

Yanna's unconscious self tries to walk, but is grappled by Ash, who takes another 4 lightning damage.

Schuyler's unconscious body now rises and walks, eyes closed, towards the exit. He pushes past the grappled Yanna into the street.

The lightning leaves Surruk and jumps out of the window of the tavern. You all hear a screech, seemingly from a young female.

The tavern patrons seem slightly more at ease that the lightning is gone, but they are also still threatened by both the unconscious walkers and Ash.

The halfling trio stops trying to exit, as the two unconscious walkers are in the way and the lightning has left.

Ash, you've taken additional lightning damage from Yanna. What would you like to do?

Ash let's go of Yanna and runs outside to see the new target of the blue lightning. Who is it?

Ash, you get to the street to see that a dwarven girl is unconscious on the ground, blue crackling energy flashing around her. You get close enough to see that she is wearing a unique floral necklace made mostly of safflowers.

Ash shouts, "The next victim is a girl wearing a safflower necklace! What does that mean, Badger!?"

If he has more movement and needs to use it to ensure Badger hears him, he will use it.

Ash: you're able to take a few steps back, shout into the tavern, and return to the girl.

Badger, what would you like to do?

Badger runs to Ash. "I don't suppose the girl is a seventh suspect of Sildar's?"

Do we know what Yanna and Surruk were eating? Did they also have the safflower oil squab?

Badger: From what you've gathered as a party, you only know that Schuyler ate the safflower oil squab. Surruk only had soup and Yanna was only drinking wine.

As you stand there thinking about the meals, you look at the tooth.

Badger, you don't recall anything more about the tooth's magic nature, but you do recognize that the safflowers, the blue dragon tooth, and Surruk's bow all come from the Quivering Thickets fey area of the Neverwinter Wood.

Badger shouts, "It's the Quivering Thickets! Has anyone else around here been to the Quivering Thickets recently? If you have... run!"

Kristofferson, what would you like to do?

Hearing the shouts and lightning, Kristofferson leaves the dwarven woman in the street and hurries to the girl. He looks around for clues as to who might be next.

Does K know how to stop the lightning?

Kristofferson, you see a flower stand selling safflower necklaces nearby. An elven man stands before it, holding two safflower necklaces in order to persuade buyers, though now he only looks quizzically upon the scene.

Kristofferson, you take a closer look at the dragon tooth and recognize it as both the start and potential end of the lightning. Perhaps it needs to be where the lightning next jumps.

As you come to that realization, the lightning jumps from the dwarven girl with the safflower necklace to the elven man selling them. He collapses to the ground.

Yanna and Schuyler, eyes still closed, have now lined up and are holding hands in the middle of the street. You see Surruk, eyes also closed, exit the tavern to join them. It appears that they are forming a circle.

Passersby are either hurrying away or staring at the scene, trying to make sense of what they are seeing. Some tavern patrons are peeking out to see what happens, including the three motley-dressed halflings.

Ash, what do you want to do?

Ash doesn't know how to help with the lightning and tooth and thinks Badger and K has it under control, so he runs to the dwarven woman he shot to keep her safe. He drags her back towards the tavern as far as he can.

Ash, you are able to drag her back into the tavern. Some other patrons help you set her in a comfortable and safe position. Blaizette starts tending to her wounds.

Badger again calls out and looks around for anyone with safflowers or purple-hued wood.
