"maybe I should have what he is having..." The shifter would say looking over his shoulder and pointing a thumb at the dwarf. "I could use a good rest.." The shifter will say giving Renwick a smile that shows a set of bloody teeth.
"No, I was just trying to convey that while I may be doing a pretty good job of hiding it... I am actually pretty beat up from our last fight." Grin will say more seriously, the smile that was almost always spread across his face now gone. "I apologize for any offense and with your permission, I would like the chance to rest in your nice home here." The shifter says, knowing full well the last thing he wants to do is offend someone of Renwick's power.
Gotrek lets rip with another snore that would make the sound of chainsaw jammed in a log fade into nothingness and Renwick grimaces. He turns to Tibold and Grin and says "are you lot really going to sleep on my floor? Two of your colleagues are quiet and peaceful" pointing to Cole and Thromkor "but he" pointing a toe at Gotrek "is certainly not!" He goes over to a shelf and starts looking at potion bottles, "hmm"he says to himself picking up various bottles and putting them down "possible ... no not that one ... ah there they are!" he says "picking up two bottles and giving them a light shake, you hear the faintest amount of liquid sloshing in the base. He comes back with two bottles and says "I made these sometime ago, can't exactly remember when, but they should still be good. I suggest you pour them down their throats."Without waiting to see what Grin and Tibold do he looks at the books and scrolls that the party are carrying. He passes his hands over the collection of scrolls, pulls two out and unrolls them, "hmm" he says "they could be fun - bit messy though!" He then flicks through the books before saying "I suggest you read this one, it might give you some of the answers you're looking for?"before taking two and saying these look like they could be some light reading.
The two potions are almost dry Potions of Healing that will restore four (4) hitpoints each
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grin would retrieve the two potions and walk over to the unconcious figures on the floor. He would slowly tilt their heads and open their mouths before pouring the liquid down their throats. Each time he does this he quickly takes a step backwards, not knowing exactly what will happen but is amazed each time as he witnesses their wounds begin to close. "I am sure the two of them thank you..." Grin would say looking to Renwick before placing the two empty bottles empty bottles on the table before picking up the scroll he said we should read. The shifter would quickly glance at the scroll and then to Tibold "You want to read it or should I? I can read it aloud if you would like...." he would say with a smile. (If Tibold does not want to read it, Grin will do it. Also investigation? if needed?? 15)
The document that Renwick refers to the party is actually a very large book - entitled "A personal journey of exploration into self-denial and nihilism through greater understanding of the Elemental Planes focusing on that of Elemental Earth" by Marlos Urnrayle of Suzail, Cormyr.
Thromkor's ebony eyes open as the potion takes effect. He grimaces, opening his mouth and breathing out. "What was that?" he asks in distaste. He then looks around the room, scowling at his surroundings. As his eyes fall on the arch-lich, the dragonborn slowly sits up. "Renwick," he says quietly. He looks around again. He then notices Grin. "Who is this?" he asks the room at large flatly.
"Hello there my scaly friend, you may call me Grin" The hairy shifter will say with a toothy grin. "I stumbled upon you and your companions while hunting for a wanted mud sorcerer... and well... after helping get rid of a few monks I helped to make sure that you and your equipment made it here safely." Grin will say with a pointing to the dragonborns belongings.
Thromkor looks about at Grin's promptings. Spying his staff, he uses it to get to his feet — favoring his bad leg as usual. He runs a hand down the front of his robes as he eyes the shifter again. He finally softens his features, giving an almost smile. "Thromkor Shragtithe," he says in greeting. "Thank you for your assistance." He turns to look at the others, taking in Gotrek, Tibold and Cole. Finally looking at the bard, Thromkor asks Tibold, "The last monk? And what of the magic user?"
“Where am I? Who brought me back? Thank you whoever it was, those monks got the best of me this time :/“ Cole sits up and takes in the room. “Ahh master Remwick, how goes the studies? Have you tired of our seemingly constant interruptions yet “ Cole says with a smile.

Thromkor speaks three words in Draconic and the volume of Gotrek's snores is diminished greatly. "This will take quite a bit of concentration to maintain, but if it makes you more comfortable for the time being ..." he trails off.
Tibold hasn't spoken in some time. He's staring off at the wall with a semi-dazed expression and doesn't notice that Thromkor's been awoken until the dragonborn speaks directly to him. Then Tibold starts and turns.
"Ah! You're up earlier than expected. And so is Cole. Uh..."Tibold yawns hugely, covering his mouth with one arm.
"Um. No reason to be worried. The monks and Quarbo were defeated, with no small help from this 'Grin.' Though," Tibold hastens to add,
"We all played our part in one way or another! For instance, Gotrek slaughtered a significant portion of our enemies, as you can tell from my shirt..."Tibold trails off, staring balefully at his blood-spattered clothes.
"This is taking too long," Thromkor says, changing the subject. "We were supposed to rescue the other prisoners quickly." He looks at Tibold and Cole. "Did we leave enough food and water for those we left outside?"
"maybe I should have what he is having..." The shifter would say looking over his shoulder and pointing a thumb at the dwarf. "I could use a good rest.." The shifter will say giving Renwick a smile that shows a set of bloody teeth.
Upon seeing Grin baring his teeth, Renwick says to Grin in a bored tone of voice "I trust you're not threatening me?"

And that's all I have to say about that.
"This is taking too long," Thromkor says, changing the subject. "We were supposed to rescue the other prisoners quickly." He looks at Tibold and Cole. "Did we leave enough food and water for those we left outside?"
Tibold frowns, trying to remember.
"Well, they were with our other companions. At least two of them were capable survivalists, at least, it seemed so."
And that's all I have to say about that.
(To my knowledge, the other companions got up and left before we got back to the cave)
(Correct and because nobody seems to be able to remember you used up all your rations to give the survivors enough food to last today.)
