Thromkor narrows his eyes at Gotrek's words, but as Cole speaks, the dragonborn turns to look at the prisoners. "We have been fortunate to find these souls," the sorcerer says, turning back to his comrades. "The longer we stay here, the greater our chance of not leaving with our or their lives. While it is unfortunate, we may need to abandon those far below and trust they will survive until we can return, perhaps with reinforcements. I say we get these to true safety and then decide what to do next."
Gotrek looks at Thromkor, "I think you misheard me, whilst it is unfortunate that there are others down there, but I am talking about food. We are just about out of food and who knows how far we will have to travel to return the prisoners before we find more food. We will not be able to make much of a journey without any food... Especially considering most of these prisoners are half starved already."
Master Renwick, is there a kitchen or food stores nearby that you know of. I understand you personally might not have ventured from this room in a very long time but do you remember where one used to be?

It is now about 5pm in the afternoon - record long rest everybody. I will put up a detailed post when I get back to Manila. Can I assume you are going to start again from the Scriptorium.
perhaps master renwick can remember where the kitchens and food stores used in the years to be before he left his isolated room and point us in a direction? If that is our first priority. Otherwise we are continuing to blindly stumble around.

"Unfortunately Renwick had little interaction with the monks and he did not need to eat. So whilst he is sure they must have a food supply, he does not know where it may be. So I think we will just have to 'Blindly Stumble Around' as you called it."
Grin would move towards the group discussion the actions to take for the day. "Alright, I say we just head back into that place and get looking for food." Grin will say with a smile. "I am one of the best investigators you'll ever meet, I am sure I can track down a few meals for ourselves and the hostages" The shifter would say tapping the end of his nose. "Nothing makes this nose perk up more than food!"
By the time the Party gets itself together and makes it way back to where it last stopped exploring the Monastery (see Map in Discord) it is about 6 pm.
Based on our map the kitchens are probably north somewhere, but leaving uncheck rooms behind us is dangerous, we should clear the door south and to the right first probably in case?

The party turns around and walks 40 feet back to the southern door that they had passed about half a minute ago and Gotrek leans up against the door. Whether it is the dried blood in his ear, or there is nothing there, he is not sure but what he does know is that he can not hear anything.

Whilst attuned and being worn you CON is equal to 19. Has no effect if your CON is greater than 19

Thromkor nods. "I agree. I was speaking to my comrade's expressed desire to journey lower to find the rest of the prisoners."

(We aren't with Renwick anymore)
Gotrek stands up, "Well if there are no other questions or queries, I think the sooner we head off the better."
unless the group wants to do anything else, Gotrek will lead them back to the garden.

(Can you re-upload the most current map of our exploration? But yeah lets start there)
(Forgot we were outside amend previous post)

Tibold smiles slightly at this but says nothing. His hair is much more nicely combed than the last night, though his shirt is still blood-soaked.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Back in the Monastery
By the time the Party gets itself together and makes it way back to where it last stopped exploring the Monastery (see Map in Discord) it is about 6 pm.

Gotrek will lead the group, folllowing down the corridor (West) and then turning left (North).
The Party now has to make a choice between one of five unopened doors (see new map)
DM - Stopping a god in his tracks
Unless the party wants to say otherwise, Gotrek will go for the door on his right.

Just saying it: Thromkor is last, and he's closing doors as the group goes through them.
"I'd suggest listening at the doors before opening them," the dragonborn says. If anyone looks at him, he gives a little shrug.
Taking in his group suggestions, Gotrek shrugs and walks up to the door Cole suggested and puts his ear to it, listening for any sounds.
