A positive response 1) Imdarr says, “I’m sure that your efforts will be rewarded in your next life, if not this life. I suggest that as the good dwarf has already said to my friend here, you are desperately in need of a bath; I therefore suggest you make your way up to Haeleeya’s for a well earned bath paid for by the Church.” 2) He then thinks further and continues “I have some concerns about the frequency with which we are seeing unexpected elemental weather occurring in this region, so perhaps after your baths you could come down to the All Faith’s Shrine where we could discuss it further.” 3) He then looks over to Harbuck and says “meanwhile we will look after the rest of these visitors. You’d better ask Jalessa how many spare hams she’s got hanging up in her smokehouse.” 4) After Imdarr finishes, Bruldenthar says “I think I will join with the other five for a bath, before joining you at the Shrine. It is possible I may have something of value to add.”
"You can't beat the price of free" Grin says with a grin, patting the dragonborn on the shoulder, putting his dagger away and preparing to head towards the bath house.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
At Haeleeya's Bathhouse 1) After Imdarr and Harbuck take the prisoners off the party hands, the six rather grubby and probably smelly adventurers (including Bruldenthar), make their way up to Haeleeya's bathhouse where having been warned they were on their way, Haeleeya is waiting on the doorstop. "Come in, come in" she says "the water is hot and the soap is sweet!" She then takes one look at Tibold's shirt and says to everybody "if you leave your dirty clothes here I will arrange to have them laundered." Looking at Gotreks' slashed and bloody tunic he is wearing under his armour she continues and "if they cannot be saved I am sure I have something in the shop that will fit." 2) Haeleeya then takes the party through to the bath rooms where the party can see ten (10) Copper baths - 4 of which are already occupied - and then says "please make yourselves comfortable!"She then claps her hands and says "Myrtle and Flo" at which two girls appear from out of the steam "please look after this six heroes - now chop chop." As she departs, she looks over her shoulder and says "enjoy!" 3) Who hears what if anything - (10) 18 4) Bruldenthar, Cole, Gotrek, & Tibold are placed in baths next to two humans who are whispering to each other. (Stealth Rolls: 16 & 16) [OOC: to keep the flow going I will make the perception rolls to indicate if the party members hear anything Perception Rolls: Cole - 17, Gotrek - 6 & Tibold - 10)] 5) Grin and Thromkor find themselves in baths next to two farmers who are discussing their pigs and their proposed breeding plans. 6) Gotrek is obviously rinses all the blood out of his ears and hears two words as follows "wicker giant." Cole and Tibold hear a little bit more as follows. The two humans - whom you suspect may be druids - are discussing that a new Druid Circle seems to have established itself somewhere in the Sumber Hills and it proposing a new rite called the Rite of the Wicker Giant that will allegedly restore nature's balance in the region.
As Grin and Thromkor are disrobing by their baths, Grin notices that Thromkor is slower than the others as usual. The shifter can see one of the dragonborn's legs is disfigured as if it had been damaged and healed improperly. Overall, the dragonborn is very thin, but he carries himself with a pride that borders on haughtiness, especially as he exposes himself physically. Thromkor is clearly and resolutely not making eye contact with anyone else in the bathhouse.
Finally settled in his bath, Thromkor looks over at Bruldenthar, a little saddened that he isn't closer to the dwarf. Taking a deep breath, he turns his attention to the farmers when they have a lull in their conversation. "I've heard there has been unexpected elemental weather lately. Has that affected your pigs' ... breeding ... habits?"
Pigs and weather 1) One of the farmers looks over at Thromkor and says “me thanks for rescuing Gorstag. His grandma Winnie and my ma be second cousins once removed so I spose that makes ‘I’m a nephew of sorts. I be Morn and this” pointing to the other farmer “be Doron. Anyways you was askin’ bout the weather and ma pigs. Well ‘bout five days back a real bad tornado came down off the ‘ills, I live down off the Kheldell Path an’ it put ma sow right off ‘er food and a sow what don’t wants to eat, don’t wan to do anything else if ya get me meanin.”
Looking completely at ease after having doffed his bloodied, dirty clothes, Tibold is in the middle of quietly wondering aloud why the soap would be "sweet" when he hears the whispers of the two probable druids.
"I wonder if they knew that curmudgeonly fellow Redleaf,"he mutters to Gotrek quietly.
"Hmmm," Thromkor says. "Can you think of anything else out of the ordinary during the past six months? Strangers? Beasts? Other events of significance?"
As Grin disrobes, you notice that he is even thinner than he appears normally with his long coat and clothing disquising his body. With a body somewhat similar to a malnourished dog, you can see lines across his dark skinned hairy body. Each line is a muscle, bone, or ligiment. His body has about twice the amount of body hair as a normal persons and while his face has many characteristics of a dog, he is still very clearly just a very hairy man. Grins thick head of hear is similar to a lions mane as it seems to grow larger once it is no longer caked with dirt and blood.
Grin will take off his clothes and settle in for a bath. Running his hands through his thick head of hair and working up a good lather so that he looked like a snow yeti lounging in the tub.
“Restore the balance you say? Are you sure the druids aren’t the ones unbalancing it? They have great power in nature. What is this wicker giant? Sounds ominous to me.”
As Gotrek enters the bathhouse, he agrees to the offer of his tunic but as he takes off his armour, he says "I would prefer no one touches this armour. I will look after it once I am clean." He then heads to the bath where he starts to scrub the blood and grime off his body. One done and he has started to soak he settles down by Tibold.
In response to Tibolds comment, "I don't know what you meant by curmudgeonly, but if you mean grumpy and stubborn even by dwarven standards, I agree with you there!"
“Restore the balance you say? Are you sure the druids aren’t the ones unbalancing it? They have great power in nature. What is this wicker giant? Sounds ominous to me.”Cole says in response to the two humans whispered conversation to each other!
"WHAAT!"one of the humans turns to Cole "my colleague and I were having a private conversation and I'll thank you not to but in and provide your two nibs worth when it is not asked nor encouraged." He then says to his colleague "we will continue this conversation another time when we can not be overheard!" He and his colleagues then get out of their tubs get dressed and leave the bath house.
"Why try to hide your conversation...." Grin would say leaning forward in his bath. "Unless you have something to hide? The shifter would say with a grin. "We are good folks here... we get paid good money to help people like yourselves with their problems.... I guess if you are fine with things going the way they are... then by all means... keep to yourself, but I don't wanna hear you come whining when things don't get any better on their own..." Grin would respond after hearing the man snap at one of his companions. Grin would smile a toothy grin at the man across the room from him while tapping his clawed fingers on the edge of his tub.

"Many thanks," he says.

Thromkor nods with concern at the farmer's story. "Any rumor what might have caused the tornado? I'm assuming that kind of disaster is not natural."
“Can’t say Sorr, but the weather ain’t been normal ’round this neck of the woods for six months or more” Morn replies to Thromkor’s question.
