Grin would pause between bites and look to Lymurra. "Well I probably shouldn't be the one to answer... I was a little late to the party" Grin will say with a smile. "I kind of came in and saved the day... helped take care of a whole bunch of nasty monks and a sorcerer..." The shifter will say casually before taking a sip of wine.
Thromkor nods at Grin, then turns to their hostess and summarizes their trip, beginning with the morning they left Red Larch to visit the makeshift cemetery and continuing on from there, not expressing any negative opinions about any of the people they have met (or battled), but simply stating the facts, all the while watching her face to see if she reacts at all when he mentions those in the tower, those in the camp, and those in the monastery.
The Conversation around the Dinner Table continues - Evening of Day 10 - First Ten-day, Month of Kythorn 1) Both Imdarr and Lymurra listen to Grin's and Thromkor's tales without interrupting and then Imdarr says "it sounds to me like somebody, or somebodies more than likely the latter, are trying to build up their forces in the Sumber Hills but for what reason I am not exactly sure." 2) At this point Bruldenthar joins in and says "yes I'm not exactly sure why the Black Earthers attacked out party as it was both large and well-armed unless it is no more than somebody was trying to demonstrate their power." 3) Lymurra then joins and says "remember that stranger from Amn that Thorsk Thelorn dropped into his shop about two days back to get his wagon repaired. Thorn reckoned that all of his goods were marked with a strange symbol like a bowl and he said that apparently there was a big gathering of druids about to start up somewhere in the Hills where he thought that he would be able to sell some of his goods."
"According to Thorn, that is what the merchant said"Lymurra responds. She then continues "mind you I find it bit surprising myself because Druids are usually very secretive and don't advertise when they are having a gathering!"
Gotrek lets Thromkor give all the details whilst he focuses on the food. If the Dragonborn looks towards him for any input, he will help out. Other than that the only things he says between mouthfuls of food is, "It seems they are occupying an old dwarven city. Whilst we are focusing on the cult, it would also be good to clear them out so that we can restore the city to its former glory for our dwarven brethren." and "Can't say much about druids, other I haven't been a fan of the ones I have met so far, Dwarf or not."
"I have a feeling there is a powerful mud sorcerer mixed up in the middle of this and I was hired to bring him back to answer for his crimes" Grin would say with a serious look on his face. "I think we will probably find him somewhere in those ruins."
Are we forgetting our original mission to find the missing delegation and their documents? That message seemed important and might give us more clues as to what is going on

Gotrek grumbles, "I still don't know much about this delegation you guys ramble on about but I do know that I have some questions for this 'Mud Sorcerer'."
But more prisoners had been taken deeper into the complex and do we know for sure none of the rest of the delegation was among them? If we are not strong enough as a group to venture deeper now I fear any chance of rescueing them still alive will be lost . If we move on for now I hope when we are strong enough we venture back and find out for sure what is down there and clear the menace out!

Grin would pipe interject inbetween bites of food. "Look... I will be honest... I am in this for the mud sorcerer. No I have a feeling that this mud sorcerer is going to be in the same place we find the remainder of your prisoners" The shifter would say taking another bite of meat before continuing as bits of food fall from his mouth. "Now I say we get back there and go as deep as we need to find that sorcerer and I am sure we will locate and be able to free your prisoners along the way...." Grin would say with a toothy smile before looking to Cole and giving him a nod.
The Missing Delegation "But more prisoners had been taken deeper into the complex and do we know for sure none of the rest of the delegation was among them?" Cole asks.
In response to Cole's question, Bruldenthar says that "the delegation from Mirrabar consisted of myself, Rhundorth a fellow dwarf like myself and a blacksmith of great renown, the Lady Teresiel, a Moon elf originally from Silverymoon and the Lady Deseyna Norvael a human from Mirabar. Lady Norvael was captured by the air cultist from the Black Eathers before we reached the Monastery. Once we reached the monastery I was left in the prison pens to work in the mines, perhaps because I was a dwarf and they thought I would be good at it, but as you can see" showing the blisters on his hands rather than the callouses you would expect of a miner "it is not my area of expertise! I did not see Rhundorth and the Lady Teresiel after they were taken away by the Black Earth guards."
Gotrek turns to Thromkor. "Does that book you have been reading say anything about where these other two cults can be found? Call it my gut, but something doesn't feel right about the depths of that city and whilst I would love nothing more than to let my Axe have a conversation with this mud sorcerer, I need to be alive for that to happen."

Does Thromkor know of a "strange symbol like a bowl"?
11 (add whatever modifier is most appropriate)
"Does anyone know what this bowl symbol might be?" Thromkor asks, fairly clueless himself.
(OOC: Consider it a history test - see PM)

Imdarr says "I've not seen it before but if I had to make a call I'd say it looks like some sort of fire bowl to me?"

"Ah, but didn't you realize?" Thromkor asks Cole. "We escorted the remains of the delegation to Red Larch." He indicates Bruldenthar.
