"Should we talk to them, attack them.... or try to move towards the tower?" Grin would whisper to the dragonborn before looking to the others for input.
Thromkor seems to consider for a minute before responding. "I would say we should assume they're friendly unless otherwise presents itself, but we did find them by following the tracks of a couple of murderous hell hounds." He thinks again. "Perhaps one of us should approach while the rest lay low and prepare to either assist if needed, or join them if everything appears safe."

"Let me just watch them a moment... and then I can go introduce myself if you wish" Grin would say. Turning back to the druids, Grin will attempt to read their lips to see if he can figure out what they are talking about while also watching their movements and the way they are handling themselves. Sniffing the air and focusing hard on every tiny detail he can, Grin would try to gather as much information as he could about them before revealing himself.

Increase your INT or WIS score by 1. If you can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language you understand, you can interpret what it's saying by reading its lips. You have a +5 bonus to your passive Perception and passive Investigation scores.
Insightful FightingXGtE46
As a bonus action, you can make an Insight check against a creature you can see that isn’t incapacitated, contested by the target’s Deception check. If you succeed, you can use your Sneak Attack against that target even if you don’t have advantage on the attack roll, but not if you have disadvantage on it for 1 minute or until you use this feature against a different target.
"So it sounds like they are talking an awful lot about cleansing and surprisiing people maybe... I thi k they are talking about a rite of some kind of giant.. maybe that wicker gaint we heard about in the bath?" Grin would pause a moment before silently moving a bit farther from the group before standing up and walking towards the campfire. "Hello friends! Mind helping a buddy out? I was recently attacked by some fire dogs or something and I am a little banged up!" Hrin would say with a smile as he approaches the campfire.

Gotrek stands up. "We don't have time for this." Gotrek starts walking in the direction he saw Grin head in. He holds his Axe loosely in on hand and scans the area for a sign of Grin.
The party splits! 1) Just after Gotrek leaves (see Post #1465), Thromkor decides to follow. He is able to keep up with Gotrek because due to the difficult ground it will take them five (5) rounds to close the 60 feet to the fire where Gotrek can just make out that Grin is standing obviously in conversation with some people. 2) As Gotrek and Thromkor close on the campsite they catch the last bit of what one of the others is saying "... power of fire restore Nature's Balance to this troubled region!"

Thromkor turns from looking at Tibold and nods at Grin, but doesn't speak.

The party watches Grin move off and Thromkor and Cole soon lose sight of him in the darkness.

Tibold prepares to run, to Grin's aid or not, he's not sure.
And that's all I have to say about that.
How long has Grin been gone?
Grin has been gone for 4 and half minutes now!

Thromkor nods and turns to continue watching for anything.
Two more minutes pass and still Grin has not returned.

Tibold winces.
"I am beginning to worry," he admits, beginning to pace back and forth.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Gotrek stands up. "We don't have time for this." Gotrek starts walking in the direction he saw Grin head in. He holds his Axe loosely in on hand and scans the area for a sign of Grin.
