Trying to calm Isa, Shalech reasons, "If it was here at all.  All we have is a missing Theodore and some written notes..."

"You think... You think he was lying?" She asks hopefully.

Elaborating, Shalech says, "I have no idea.  I never saw this ghost, nor did I hear Theodore leave.  Maybe we should speak to the others to see if they did.  Personally I find it alarming that Theodore supposedly left, and no one noticed.  Not even the tower defenses."

(Not going to lie, forgot about the defenses when Theodore left... Going to have to come up with some good roleplaying to answer that.)

Croak waits in the room he slept and dresses himself, ready for another day in this cursed town

Dar heads up the stairs to find Shalech and Isa talking.  He hears mention of the towers defenses and has a realization.  (As did I)  He calls out; "Tower, Activate Defenses!" And a hum of magic sounds throughout the tower; followed by the cursing of Dar.  "I forgot to activate the damn defenses!  How stupid of me!!"

Croak, your clothes are surprisingly clean.

Urselles continues praying 

You feel the hand of Chauntea upon your shoulder.  The plants around the church grow to bloom, and all within feel twice blessed.

Looking at Dar, "Well, that hopefully explains how this 'ghost' got into the tower, IF this note is even true."

"What note? What's going on now? Isa, damn it, get dressed.  What are you doing woman?" Dar angrily demands.

"This note!"he shows the note to Dar  "I was supposed to take second watch after Theodore, but he didn't wake me up, and by the time I did wake up, he was gone. I immediately rushed here and, I found this note under his door. I didn't want to open the door, in case there was someone or something still inside. The room is exactly as we found it."

Nathan goes on to look around the room to see what is missing, or if there is anything strange about it:

Urselles utters a silent thank you to this new god, hoping it would help her cause

Dar reads the note, and then opens the door to Theodore's room.  The room looks normal, except bare of any gear.  It does look like everything was packed quickly.

Dar turns towards the others.  "The note says he retrieved his horse.  If anyone can confirm this, it would be the stable hands."

Nathan, everything looks normal around the rooms, nothing looks out of place or missing.

"Your welcome my niece." You hear whispered to you, but not through your ear.  You open your eyes, watching the amazed looks upon those in the church.  They are actually truly happy; and their smiles seem to lighten the mood of those around them as they pass.

Normand places his hand upon Urselles' shoulder and says; "You, and through you the presence of Eldath, have been well received and have brought relief and joy to those here.  Thank you."

"Master Dar, to me it seems that there is nothing strange about this room, except for the fact that Theodore must have left in quite a hurry. Do you maybe see anything? Can you sense any arcane sense of a ghost or spirit of some sorts having been here?"

"Never wanted to deal with Necromancy on any level, and I've avoided that school entirely.  I'd suggest either Normand the priest or my brother Han; both of whom you have my permission to bring up here." Dar replies.

“I’m glad, this seems like a place I can really help, and well, I’m just glad to be here” Urselles smiles at Normand

"Thank you, Master Dar! Friends, how about we check the stables first, then go and ask Normand for help? I think our friend Urselles will also be around."

"We are glad and lucky to have you." Normand replies.  Lura smiles at Urselles.

Urselles smiles at Lura before turning to Normand, “so Normand do you have anything planned for today”
