(I checked your languages before posting to see if you knew it or not. You do not.)
You've never heard this language before, or haven't heard it enough to recognize it.
Kizori, you hear the sound of several creatures moving in the woods. "Maan!" One of the creatures calls. "Dar agaan o druuc maagaan? Daan tuuch mech mel." Another inquiries. In the same gutteral voice from earlier, you hear in common; "Are you going to be a problem?"
A pack of several large, thick skinned humanoids step out of the woods. Their ears are long and pointy, their noises large and flat, their skin; a slight orange tint.
You see dirt and soil over their boots, and one of the creatures in the back is munching on fresh gourd. "Who we are is none of your business."
(Make an Intelligence Save to see if you recognize the species.)
Kizori, you've never seen this humanoid species before; and they look like they don't want to be bothered. There is at least half a dozen of them, dressed in loose fitting clothes, over their strong builds. You do not see any weapons; but they are likely close by.
Scoffing at Shalec's comment, Croak grabs the jar and looks toward Nathan, "Looks like these are ours" then looking at Isa, "That is of course if you are sure you do not need them."
"We should complete our investigation and return to Dar's to decide on a course of action. I believe this ghost is due in tomorrow night. Isa, did you say the privy is out back? I'll let these guys handle arcane, while I prepare for the journey home."
Croak does have to take a leak but he also investigates the structure while there.
"No, go ahead and take them. Just make sure to keep them secure." Isa replies with a smile.
When you go out back, you are amazed by the quality of the outhouse. First of all, it's spotless, it actually shines; with a glowing ceiling. The toilet is clean and made of a soft wood grain. There is a sink, a mirror, a small dresser, and a strange metal tube that ends in a small round metal ball, covered in holes; with a chain hanging down from what appears to be a lever.
"Shalech, you are right, but it would still be important to know what we have here, as we might have to use it in a fight sooner or later." Nathan follows Isa, and points out all the places in the house where he can feel the necromantic energy.

Shalech counters, "Using beans to find out what they do means you end up with less beans for when you need them, and we have to risk ourselves getting rid of the result. Maybe have someone with arcana knowledge look at them and tell you instead?"
Replying to the conversation about the beans, Who knows, could have been useful if there really was a true dragon threatening the city. We're keeping them or I am keeping them, if nothing more than a curiosity."
Croak uses the loo and washes his hands, looking toward the strange tube and tries to imagine what the mechanical contraption could be used for.
Investigation:17
Drying his hands with his newly cleaned sleeve he peers into the mirror and wonders what he is doing here.
Kizori raises his hands and smiles, "I'm just looking for whoever smashed up a fence and stole some gourds from a farmer." Kizori ponders a moment, "Would you be them? You're not very nice, and I don't think they would be either.."
Yes, but because it is possible that he would need his spell slots later, Nathan would have excused himself for a few minutes when the others are talking after dinner, moved to the side and took out his spellbook, muttering to himself and drawing arcane symbols for about ten minutes, and casts Detect Magic as a ritual spell.
If this is not possible, he casts the spell using a level 1 spell slot.
Croak, you pull the chain; as one naturally would. Cold water begins pouring from the holes in the metal ball. You have no idea how this works.
"Ot, daan duush daal! Daan agaan haar Muukuukec dager, ach an dhuur or dalec ac hokaar." One of the creatures in the back calls out. The large one that has stepped forward as, what you assume is, the leader; motions for the other to calm down a bit. "We are the same people who did what you said." It replies; you believe it is likely male. His deep guttural voice is calm, with a pressing tenseness, like he is ready to change his tone if he needs.
"Why did you do that? He worked hard on those gourds. He probably would have given you some if you had asked or done some work for him. He needs those gourds!" Kizori seems unhappy with their decision.
(Let's just have Nathan cast the ritual when he and Isa goes to the room, she'd wait.)
Nathan looks at the aura on the wall, seeing nothing but a plain wall. Han suggested checking outside in case. Upon looking outside you see what could only be called a magical trail through the outside garden, and an aura on the exact opposite side of the bedroom wall. It looks like the ghost flew right through Isa's bedroom wall.
The person infront of Kizori looks surprised and confused. "Do... Do you know what we are?" He looks around at the others. "We are Hobgoblins of the mountains to the north. We are great warriors that take what we need and return home victorious. We do not ask." He, and the other Hobgoblins stand a little taller and more menacing.
Perplexed and relieved, Croak exits the privy and rejoins the group just in time to witness the end of Nathan's wizard jazz, "Everythng's magic in this town..." he mutters quietly.
