"Ok, I will be right back!" Nathan cautiously attempts to open the tower. If nothing happens and he can get in safely, he will probably just hide the letters in his own room for now, and he will give them to Dar when they get back. After that, he joins the others outside. How far are Kizori, Urselles and Eliath? If they still cannot be seen, Nathan would quickly scribble a note that they have gone to the Inn for the town council meeting and ask the others to join them there, and stick it on the door of the tower.
"I was 8 when my parents died, but our hatchery had several broods. The older broods took care of us. Kez was 23 before he left the hatchery, I was 15. We leave when we're ready. Some never leave and just maintain the hatchery."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Croak squints off in the distance toward the three approaching figures, trying to see if one happens to be a giant humanoid turtle and one a short goblin priestess.
As you watch the people approach, you see the blur of figures reform, as the white robes begin to stand out against the large form of Kizori. It's definitely them.
Croak makes a mental note to get his eyes examined, blinks a couple of times, turns to Nathan, "Are we really leaving those letters in a defenseless tower? Especially one that has been trespassed twice as far as I've seen, even while the defenses were on?"

"Well, if someone can get to the letters, then they can get to the journals too. So even if we kept the letters, they are useless without the journals to decipher."
"Don't worry, I hid them well. At least I do think they are safer there than they were in Isa's house, or as they would be on our bodies. But of course you might be correct. What do you think?"
Nathan is waiting for the others to catch up with them. Also, do we know where the Mayor's house is?
(The only house gaudy enough to be the Mayor's sits next door to Han's place.)
Blindly walking in thought, Kizori leads the group back into town. Han's house sits to your right and the sounds of the Blacksmith's shop pounds away to your left.
Kizori returns the smile, "Now I just have to convince all parties to get along." Kizori notices the extravagant house, "Woah. I've not seen construction like this before." Kizori rushes over to the house and begins examining the architecture.
As Kizori rushes up to the house, the door opens and a loud collection of voices radiate outward. Dar sees you and the priestesses, and says; "See they are right here Oswald, you just need to talk to them. It's not just Normand, Klandar, and I; there are a load of adventures that can confirm what we've said. This town and it's people are in trouble and we need to act."
A tall bald, yet bearded, man with a gentle voice replies; "You are just over reacting, the guild closed a decade ago; magical threats aren't an issue anymore." Dar begins to interject when Oswald cuts him off. "However I will still speak to them in the marrow, before they leave on your quest against the Wizards Guild tower. They can join me at breakfast."
Before saying another word, the mayor turns and reenters the manor. Dar, heads over to Kizori, Normand to Urselles, and the rest back to their place of business. Kitta can be seen slinking back to her own home at the end of the block.
Croak, you and the others see this as well, from Dar's tower, a bit over a block away.

(Slight note: The Council Meeting is at the Mayor's house.)
Three figures can be seen walking down the road in the distance. Looks like they are just approaching the town.
"I was 8 when my parents died, but our hatchery had several broods. The older broods took care of us. Kez was 23 before he left the hatchery, I was 15. We leave when we're ready. Some never leave and just maintain the hatchery."
Eliath is fascinated by your tale, and continues to ask questions as you travel. Soon the three of you are approaching the town.
“So, should I take you to Dar’s tower, I’d like to meet back up with up my friends”

At this range the three sorta blur together into one blob of people; hard for Croak to tell for certain.
Nathan also tries to see whether the approaching figures are their friends:

If he cannot see them, he will call his familiar, Fluffy, and fly closer to see who they are through her eyes.

Kizori is lost in thought about how he might broach the topic of allowing hobgoblins to earn their keep in the human town.
Urselles shakes Kizoro “hay, you’re thinking about the Hobgoblin’s aren’t you”
