Ember flits near each of their companions to see what they say.
Nico rubbed his chin. "Well," he explained, "I'm all about the loot. Now that we know this is the 'last gate,' so to speak, I think now's the best time to go and scoop up any treasure.
"That said, I ain't going alone, so it'll be up to the others."
"I think the other doors we saw all lead here." Razzec says as he's staring at the other doors in the room. "I think with all the twists and turns, they all point here. Is the key even still usable or did it get 'used up' when we unlocked the door?"

For a split-second, a sense of crushing loss was visible on Nico's face; however, it vanished quickly enough to doubt that it had actually been there, and the bard merely sighed.
"You're probably right. If that's the case... then I say we grab this Soul Stone and be on our way."
With a newfound sense of determination, the smuggler laid down in one on the indentations that fit him.

The form closes in gently to hold him firmly in place.
The room dims and you feel the air start to pulse slowly, then increasingly faster....

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Anton finds a depression that looks like it would fit him and looks at it cautiously. He turns toward Nico and watches as he climbs into his own depression and the air in the room starts to change. He looks to the others wildly “What is happening!?” He waits to see what happens to Nico before even thinking about getting into one of those openings.
Ember looks on as his companions debate the wisdom of laying down into a 'floor depression'. Then Nico went and inserted themself into a shaped depression. And... nothing untoward seemed to happen. Nico did not die instantly nor start screaming in horror and pain.
Grey will wait until all the others have got into the depressions, not out of fear, but out of a responsibility of a healer. Once all are in, he will mutter a prayer to Moradin, give himself Guidance, and enter one of the depressions.
The bard chuckled, as much to counter his nervousness as to respond to the question. "It's not bad. I've... gotten out of tighter spots than this before."
He then went quiet as the hole in the ceiling opened.
Razzec follows Nico's stare up to the ceiling and sees the hole there that wasn't there before. "I think I can lift everyone up there if I use my Giant's Might. Which one of you all are ok in the dark? I'll lift one of you first. Unless you all prefer if I go first."
{{ OOC: How big is the hole? Would Razzec be able to lift himself or others into the hole (if willing)? }}
"I'll be fine with the dark. Or I should be," replied Nico as he climbed up and out of his indentation. Standing up, he then cast a quick spell onto the flute strapped to his belt, granting it a soft, bluish-white glow.
"But, I did the fit-the-man-into-the-shape thing first; I'll let someone else climb up first and report."
There is a shape that would fit all of you. Not perfectly, but close enough.

"Last chance I suppose. Do we 'slip outselves into the puzzle' or go around for one last check for loot?"
Ember flits near each of their companions to see what they say.
Did he see anything? especially the traps or blood. :)

"Nico, does it feel funny?"
Razzec slides into his own spot before realizing the sudden change in the room.
Ember sighs, "In for a feather; In for a walnut." He dips down to an Ember sized depression and snuggles in to the spot.
"If I die, I will come back to haunt you all and singe your toes!"
You feel immobilized but not in a painful way.
There is a flash of light then a series of swirling colors and a bit of dizziness.

The indentations release their hold, and you are able to move freely.
The hole is 10 feet above you.
