Jearing this message, Gramgran says, “Oh that’s not good. Everyone, it appears that Kim is talking to some Redbrands right now and wants Yuri to follow her.” Turning to him she asks, “Would you please make sure she doesn’t get into too much trouble? She seems a little reckless right now.”
The Redbrand that greeted you stops and turns to Kim. "I'm Taman." He is a human in his 30's carrying a long sword. The others continue for a few steps before stopping and turning as well. They give Taman a look like he shouldn't be talking with outsiders. "We can usually stop the goblin raiders on their way toward the town. We know they live to the north in the woods, just not a precise location." The large fellow of the group clears his throat to get Taman's attention. He is also a human of about 40 years with many scars. He appears to be in charge of this small group. "Taman, we must be on our way. We mustn't keep Glassstaff waiting," he says. At this point, Yuri is able to stick his head out the door and hear the end of the conversation. The large one says to Kim, "we don't accept applications, this is not some tavern or trinket shop." Taman gets an embarrassed look on his face. "I must be off now," Taman says. He hastens his step to catch up with the group who have now continued east towards the manor.

Yuri instinctively reaches down to his belt, relieved as his hand meets smooth, worn leather of the grip of his longsword. The panic that had been rising up in him quickly fades as he rests his hand upon it.
Stepping outside the inn, he keeps his attention focussed on Kim, but is careful to keep the Redbrands in sight as they head off.
Overhearing that the men are meeting someone Kim decides it is best to attempt to gather information in this meeting. As a train military personnel, she also knows she won't be able to blend into a crowd as well now that the men have seen and spoken to her. She walks towards the bar and starts to walk in. While moving in this direction she uses her whisper again, "Yuri, I was not able to infiltrate their ranks. I am sure you overheard their meeting. Do you think you can spy on them without getting caught? It could help us." As she is casting her message to Yuri, she never even once glanced at him as she pass by him, stepping into the inn and walking towards the others.
Kim sits down at the table and explains what happened to the others. "I feel it is risky for me to follow along with Yuri, but he will need some help in case things go badly. Can someone help him?"

Upon leaving the inn, Morpetor looks for Yuri and sends a magical message to him, “This is Morpetor, I’ll keep my eye on you from a distance to make sure you are not overtaken.”

The message from Kim reaches Yuri and he whispers back an affirmative as she breezes past him into the inn. Turning, he sets off in the same direction as the Redbrands, but meanders along, as if simply going for a stroll, and keen to keep a distance from them.
Morepetor's message reaches him as he casts a furtive glance towards the Redbrands and he responds with his location as best he can.
Stealth check for the tow of you that are attempting to follow. This late at night there's no one else in the streets and there's really no where to hide. The Redbrands also seem pretty watchful as they near the manor.
OOC - I don't think we've ever done well at stealth...
You two thought right. The leader has noticed you two following but has continued on. As they pass the last building out of town, he allows you a few more steps before turning around with a hand on his sword. The other 3 also turn to face you. "Not sure where you little piss pots think you're going, but the path here is Redbrands territory. Your access to the road ends there." He points to The Sleeping Giant tap house, the last building at the edge of town. "Now you two run along now and keep this to yourself or you may find yourself on the wrong end of a sword." The laughs and the others join in. As you two look him over, you discern now isn't the time or place to press your luck with the large man and his 3 friends. You two make your way back into town as he watches to make sure they aren't followed any further.
Night comes and goes. Plans are discussed late into the evening after Yuri and Morpetor make their way back to the inn after the failed attempt to follow the Redbrands. The early morning comes quickly but you all have enough time to get in a long rest before the roosters start to crow. The spellcasters ready themselves before making their exit to the common room preparing any new spells they feel would be useful for today's excursion into the Redbrands hideout. The warriors are putting an edge on their blades. Everyone makes their way downstairs where Trilena has prepared a morning stew for the group. She seems to have taken a liking to you all.

Yuri looks to Kim for leadership. Will they both follow the Redbrands?
Having rushed to the door of the inn following Gramgran's message, he just hopes he hasn't forgotten anything.
Give me a survival check to see how prepared you have gotten yourself before rushing off to the door.

“I will follow Yuri to make sure nothing happens to him. With my cloak over my head and my staff as a walking stick, I’m pretty good at blending in.”
