Ray says, "Im not sure Im ta keen on jungles, not like a forest say, I can cope with a forest, hmmmm... give me the mountains where I can sit with Maxy ahhhh thats an image worth holding onto methinks", what say you Tem?
At his pondering, Ray listens to Tem tell a wonderful story about Luna the clever fox, at its conclusion, Ray says to Tem, "Some lessons stay true ever time eternal" and continues to sit quietly looking into the night sky.
“I’ve been seeing strange creatures in the dark, probably apes. I can’t get a good enough look to be sure, though.” Roland was still skeptical about the sighting. Nevertheless, he sat back, knowing that his worries were a problem for another day.
Tem's story captures the party's imagination, and it seems it isn't the only thing that's been drawn in. The shadowy figures Roland thought might be apes have drawn closer through the thicket towards the makeshift camp you have set up, and now they're close enough for you to all hear the rustling within the bushes. However, whatever the creatures are, they are yet to attack, though now everyone is aware of them.
Tem, seeing the currently peaceful folk come near, says "Please come. Come in closer. Warm yourself by the fire. But, do not cause any harm to anyone here, or I'll put the evil eye on you, he he he (he laughs, but keeps an eye on our visitors).
Ray joins Tem and watches as the visitors are encouraged to sit by the fire. "Eye, and I have me bagpipes here and you don't want to be subjected to the incredible fey sounds of the eire sounds that emanate from this wee baggy" as he pats Maxy!
