Dorric smiles at Zarbyn and winks. "I'd say your best bet would be to get some roses and deliver them to her in the name of Lord Azur. At a minimum, that would put her in a good mood." Then he shakes his head, "The rest...well, that would be a bit of luck and strategy....the lady deals in information, so....if you have some information, she might exchange the location of the wizard if she has it. Or, she may have you do a task for her as she does not leave her gardens often."
A woman with no weapons approaches Amdaeng. "Chiang Mai province......maybe from Fang.....Execution Hill’s the place, if you’re lookin’ for blood or coin. Most nights we’ve got pits burnin’ hot — bare-knuckle brawls, blade duels, even a beast fight or two if the mood takes us. The crowd loves a good scream. You look game enough… and that bear o’ yours? A crowd-pleaser for sure. Step in the ring, walk out richer."

Despite herself Amdaeng found herself listening to the woman as part of her mind slipped back into the relative simplicity of her days in the cages......but then the woman mentioned Ning and her memories got a lot darker.
Steel flashed in her gaze, " No......not N...the bear. But.......maybe....... perhaps .....me.....any chance the Wizard of Blacksand frequents the pits or someone who would know how to contact him?"
The woman smiles, "Who knows what types you'll find there, but surely nobles down to the drudges of life find solace in watching others hurt each other. Information, rumors, and misinformation are common in Blacksand, but....Doric's lead for your friend, the Serpent Queen, she may be your highest chance of finding the man and not being taken advantage of or worse, robbed blind or killed."
"I have only seen her during public processions. She appears to have the body of a woman, often robed in silks of green and gold, but her head is that of a scaled serpent. She usually keeps her head and eyes covered but I have no doubt her eyes are those of a slitted snake. Yet, most find her alluring, regal, provocative, even dangerous."
Amdaeng:
The Serpent Queen is certainly know of in Fang. It is said she was once a beautiful vein woman who angered either another female ruler or perhaps the gods themselves. Amdaeng her that she was subjected to terrible rituals and magics by Caarth Sorcerer Priests of the Desert of Skulls and now has the head of a serpent. There have also been rumors that Lord Azzur would pay handsomely for a way to reverse the rituals.

" So.........is she really a Queen? Or really a Serpent? Or both?"
History- 10
Faint memories of reading something about the Caarth and the Demon Lord Sith floated at the back of her mind but she couldn't recall much more.....
