During the night when Vydar sleeps, he has the vision he had at the wagon when he touched the dagger. Of someone being sacrificed by the cult of Myurr. They are in a dark room, with the huge statue of The snake demon Myurr in the background.
He awakens and is in his room. Suddenly Vydar hears a scream. He then has a feeling like someone unseen is in his room with him, a cultist, with dagger getting ready to cut out his heart.
He screams, then awakens (Realizing that he was actually still asleep, dreaming that he was awake) the sun is rising and some light enters the window in his room. He is sweating.
Zarbyn rises early but waits by his door listening for the sounds of other people on the go, until the cooks and staff are up and have breakfast on the go there is really no reason to go down but once he hears some commotion he figures it may even be some of his compatriots so he heads down for breakfast.
"Good morning Amdaeng! Looks like a fine start to the day after the rain we had yesterday."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Jherak feels recuperated after a full night’s sleep. He knows he and his friends have another long day ahead of them, one he has given a lot of thought. He is hopeful it is both positive and beneficial going forward. As he hears others head down the hall past his door, he also heads toward the dining area. His looks forward to a hearty breakfast, and hopes the staff have food available soon. He will wait for the rest of his friends before starting though. He greets Zarbyn and Amdaeng, who look like they just arrived themselves. “Good Morning. We have a big day ahead of us, I hope it goes well. How do you all feel about our meeting with the Serpant Queen?”
Coffee and Tea are served, again, quite good by one of the three sisters who is named, Maeve. There are fresh baked breads, fruit, and eggs. Vydar, Lev, Lira, and Halbert have not come down yet. It is quiet so far in the main tavern area, a contrast to last night. A group of guests (A family you suppose) sits at a table in the corner, looking down and not speaking, as they eat their meals quietly. They do not wear armor or carry weapons other than daggers.
(Last night) Vydar keeps looking at the woman in the corner. He notes that some of the things on the table seem out of place. When he asks Lira about it, Lira recognizes that the items on the table indicate that there is someone in the room who is an agent of Lord Azzur (the current tyrant/ ruler in Port Blacksand). The corner of the napkin points in a specific direction, indicating the well dressed man in the room.
Zarbyn has Twiggy become visible at his table and after a few bites and some idle, light conversation sends her over to greet the elves in the elvish language.
"Greetings and pleasant meetings noble traveller's, what news of the road and the world beyond?"
Twiggy hovers at about eye level so that neither she nor the elves have to crane their neck up or down.

“Are we going to tell the new guy about our meeting with the serpent queen,” Jherak inquires while sipping a hot cup of coffee. “We can’t exactly leave him behind, or make him wait outside, can we? But then again, I’m sure she will notice he wasn’t part of our group yesterday. So, what seems like the best option?”
Before heading to bed, Vydar will mention that he thinks that the woman in the corner has arranged her things on her table in an odd way. He has a strong feeling it's some kind of thieves cant. Due to being raised by a former rogue he's fairly certain he can spot Thieves cant despite not being able to read it.
Regardless of what Lira's interpretation of his observation is, he heads to bed around the same time as the others and doesn't engage with the woman in the corner.
(Time-skip to morning)
Vydar jolts awake in a cold sweat, grabbing at his chest and getting a fist full of his shirt as he does so. He's not sure if he'd actually screamed, or if he'd only done so in the dream.
(He did scream, not sure if anyone would have heard him.)
The early morning sun shines through his window, practically blinding his sensitive eyes and causing him to squint as he tries to calm his breathing. He sits there in his bed for several minutes as he waits for his heartbeat to slow done. Eventually he gets up and changes out of his sweat soaked clothes.
Eyes still blurry from his restless sleep followed by being blinded by the sun, Vydar makes his way downstairs to the dining area. He's up far earlier than he normally is, which is extremely out of character for him. He distractedly pulls up a chair next to Zarbyn, not really aware of the conversation already going on at the table. He looks tired and a bit shaken despite his best efforts to hide it.
Whenever one of the elf sisters comes over to see what he wants for breakfast he just asks for whatever the others are having, and when it's brought to him he eats it wordlessly. After a while he realizes the group had in fact invited the stranger who'd been seated with them the night before to their group. Based on what he'd heard of this man's story he doesn't really see a reason not to let him come along, but as usually he's not really sure it's the greatest idea to just let anyone join up with them out of the blue. He doesn't have the energy to object to anything though, plus the time to do so had already long passed. Instead he tries to respond to Jherak's question.
"We could just have him wait outside if we think she'll take issue with him."He replies.
When Halbert comes over and says he hopes they all slept well, the dark elf doesn't respond, though buy his demeanor, it's obvious that he didn't sleep well.
"If you wouldn't mind waiting until after we meet with the Serpent Queen?"
Zarbyn gestures toward Twiggy flying nearby, "I could have Twiggy stay with you and let you know how things are going?"
(the above questions were addressed to Halbert.)
(and the below questions are addressed to the group that is present at breakfast.)
"What if the meeting she sets up with Nicodemus is based on who's present when we meet her? Maybe we should have Halbert accompany us... he'll be announced at the gate anyway so she will know we're not trying to hide anything from her... and that way he can be included in the meeting with Nicodemus?"

Not trusting your surroundings and the assembled patronage, after a good meal and a few beverages, the group retires to your rooms.
(long rest)
if anyone wants to do anything else at night, talk with anyone privately, you certainly can.
with some transport, Halbert replies
it seems destiny cheered on our meeting, it is not something we can take lightly, mind!
If this action might be an end to find this Nicodemus, do count me in
( Just an OOC query. Is Halbert male or female presenting? The backstory confuzzled me a bit.)
(Ooc male, but elements of a different character who was were accidentally left.)
00c: sorry, i did not replace all the pronouns

Amdaeng rises early and has Ning sit on her back to add some resistance to her push ups.......Ning is definitely getting heavier as time goes on......
She waits at the table downstairs after for the rest to rise.

" It does. So what are we going to do until its time to meet her.....can't be anything that's going to delay us.", Amdaeng answered.

Halbert wakes up and, hearing some noises from below, he feels an immediate urge to go downstairs to check if his new companions left without him.
once in the dining hall, fortunately he finds them all huddled for breakfast and he joins them taking eggs and tea.
hope you had a nice sleep, we must gather strength
As Twiggy moves closer to the family, she can see that some of them are crying. They are certainly not happy.
