I'm going to have Twiggy cast Invisibility and then try to sneak in through one of the openings.

Iólinder will walk up to the murder hole and magic missile (magic stick) the one nearest the door.
Total of 14 force damage (decided all three darts on one instead of splitting before casting because he wanted to be certain at least one was severely injured or dead quickly)
He will then drop the magic stick and post up at the door, ready to move in with staff and shield to pummel the remaining kobold ... If the door opens.
Twiggy is able to slip in as the two kobolds continue their game. She communicates with Zarbyn. She believes she can open the door. the space is not large, maybe only one additional person could enter the space. In close quarters, it occurs to the group some weapons may not work well. If door is open, much better los)
Almost before it started, the two Kobolds are taken down. One by arrow, one by magical arrows that pierce the other kobold and then fade away. At the same time, Twiggy unlocks the door. Inside, is a large lever that seems to be able to be moved up and down. It is in the down position currently. Bits of leftover rations and food, and a deck of interesting cards. The two men have collars of obedience, which pop off as life escapes their eyes. They were armed with short bows, slings, and short swords.
The hallway continues but then turns again to the left, opening up into a natural cavern. Ning comes to Amdaeng, ambling along awkwardly on the hard floor. She smells the dead kobolds and growls. Then, faces the east wall outside the door near the murder holes, standing up on two feet.
Ning smells the floor near the east wall. Amdaeng makes out a half footprint. (A door of some sort). Maybe goes up into the ceiling. It appears made of stone.
The lever releases something behind the wall and the well made dwarven mechanism lifts the heavy door, as heavy weight offset the heavy stone wall door, it rises, revealing a stone corridor going east some 30 feet. Surprisingly, there is an orange glow coming from around the corner and the heat of a summer day flows out of the area. The bubbling and flowing is much louder as the lava sounds echo off stone walls.
Amdaeng looks delighted as the door opens, " Ning. Stay back, lava is dangerous! Well, I assume it is.....I haven't seen it before....but it seems pretty hot."
Lira hurries to join Amdaeng as she hears the door open. "Yes, very dangerous," she agrees, "But useful for keeping this place heated. Dwarven builders are ingenious." She moves down the hidden passageway to look for traps before the others follow.

Morric will wait until the sou d of battle to move in, knowing his torch would give him away.
Vydar moves up behind Amdaeng, he's clearly frustrated at being stuck behind the group.

Any other ranged attacks/ spells before door is opened? Twiggy is inside and would be effected by area of effect spells.
Lira draws her shortbow and looses an arrow through one of the holes at the nearest kobold.
Action: shortbow to hit w Advantage 15, damage 5 + 10 sneak attack

Amdaeng smirks and whistles softly for Ning to move up.

Lira approaches Amdaeng and notices the half footprint as well. She carefully examines the wall for a way to get the hidden door open.
