"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Zarbyns blast hits the thing causing more damage (full)
the first ghoul kobold attacks Iolinder again hitting with sharp claws (20 to hit, 4 damage). If the target is a creature other than an elf or undead, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
the second ghoul goes after Morric, hitting with its claws (23 to hit, 7 damage)
Noting that his spell doesn't seem to be doing much, Vydar cuts off the chain of lightning and draws his sword. Then he will try and maneuver himself to where he can catch the ghouls and hopefully the demon in a Thunderwave. (Trying to some distance between his companions and the ghouls. He's hoping that then the party can concentrate on the demon as he's assuming that when the demon is taken out the ghouls will fall with it.)
Thunderwave con save: 13
On a fail, the creatures will be pushed 10 feet away and take 7 dmg
The arrow, wave of thunder and floating weapon hit the demon who lets out a telepathic scream, and falls. Instantly, the two raised kobolds fall. The body and clothing of the demonic kobold change, as the mimic changes back to its original form.
The main room has 4 dead kobolds, and one demon mimic. The back wall rises 10 feet to a ledge and a larger area. Then again another wall rises 20 feet to another ledge. On the map, you are aware of two pit traps in this room, near the bodies. One level up on the map is a door. The key is somewhere on the other side of this door according to Thalgar Ironfist.
"There's the door I think we're looking for," Zarbyn points up at the door on the next level, "let's get a move on before anything else shows up!"
Zarbyn will help the others to climb up the 10 foot wall.

Even after the Demon and it's thralls fall, Vydar does not put away his sword for several moments. That felt to easy. However, once the others start moving forward, he grows a little less tense, though still clearly guarded despite sheathing his sword.
After scaling the wall, Vydar approaches the door. He touches the ridiculous looking hat on his head as he does so, clearly expecting some sort of trap.
As Vydar puts the hat on, he sees two pit traps in the main room.
Amdaeng examines the door and passage. She notes another passage leading north on the 3rd level. She sees no mechanical traps. The door is made of stout wood with iron hinges.
For Vydar the door glows brightly. As does the gem on his hat. It is hot to the touch.
Once Zarbyn helps those who might need a hand to climb the 10 foot wall he will back up a step or two, take a slight crouch and then spring like a frog or grasshopper, leaping up 12 or 13 feet to clear the edge of the 10 foot wall and land safely a short distance from the door.
"It looks like we may of gotten to the key before the kobolds, at least I hope we did."

Morric was clearly shaken by the weirdness of the demon kobold, the risen ghoul-bolds and was about to run uncontrollably when it died turned into another weird thing he had never seen….he picks up the dropped shield and slings it over his shoulder and keeps the goblin eater out as he follows the others. He is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain his smile and so chews on a piece of licorice and thinks of happy thoughts.

Lira follows after the others with a sigh of relief.

“Tch, Typical. This door is trapped.” Vydar says to the group.

"Trapped...Hm, I don't see anything. A magical trap maybe?" Lira tilts her head, but is unable to sense anything.
Arcana: nat 1 + 6
Amdaeng looks up confused halfway through reaching for the door, " It is?"
Those on the second level can make an intelligence check.
