Vydar's stops himself from shrugging at Serethys' response. He really hadn't thought about it that much but regardless his choice seems to have made her and her orc friend pleased with him. When she tells him to keep the statue he almost objects, however he figures that might be seen as rude and instead nods to her. "Thank you." He says, giving the red dragon one last look before tucking it safely into his satchel alongside his spellbook and Natalie's hat. He'll have to look over it more later, her words suggested that it was more than just a decoration.
He crosses his arms again when the painting is brought in. His expression settling back into his usual scowl when he sees it, then that scowl deepens when Serethys provides some backstory on this artist. It's not just the Serpent Queen he has offended, but many others as well.
Vydar's a bit surprised at how mild most of Serethys's punishments are, and while he doesn't say it out loud, he feels like the majority of them would be easily forgotten. He nods to Zarbyn's words. "I agree, she likely wants his humiliation to last and it would be even better if she weren't the only one who'd get to relish in his misery. That said I'm leaning towards the Iron Hand. I believe what artist fear most is losing the ability to use their skills, that alone is good punishment for him. However locking his hand in a gauntlet will not only serve as a reminder to him for simply being there, he'll also likely be questioned about it anytime he attends any social gatherings." Vydar smirks at the thought, "He'll either have to try and avoid the questions or explain what it is. Either way he'll look like a fool since he won't be able to remove it. Not to mention having a gauntlet on his dominant hand will also make everyday tasks more difficult." He nods to himself, "I also think giving The Serpent Queen the key to the gauntlet is a good idea. Then she can determine when to let him loose again, she could even make a public special of it hand force him to apologize to her and anyone else he's offended before doing so. If she chooses to anyway."
He looks to the rest of the group, expecting some kind of input.
Varin nods at Vydars suggestion. "I especially like your suggestion of giving the Serpent Queen the power to remove it. Perhaps he will have to do some sort of restorative justice before she will remove it, or she may never remove it. Either way, I think she would be quiet satisfied with having that power over him directly."
Lev eyes the orc and dark elf, nodding with the others as they discuss their options. "I... also agree with the gauntlet idea. The punishment should be lasting, personal, and visible to the public eye. That way it can't be quickly forgotten, by him or those who see him."
Admittedly, he'd thought he would be much less accepting of anything these people offered in terms of punishment. He'd never really considered himself fond of... this line of work or mingling with people in this line of work. However, he found himself wondering what sort of punishment these people could conjure up for Werik... if they would even dare touching someone of such status. If not for the thought he wouldn't be able to afford it, and the fact such a request may warrant some measure of explanation that could further expose his identity, the idea would have been much more tempting.
Zarbyn agrees with the group, "The Iron Hand does sound like what she wants for all the reasons my friends have said."
Zarbyn asks Serethys' while smiling, "How much doe the Iron Hand cost?"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Serethys looks at the group doing some math in her head.
"Well the Iron Hand is relatively straight forward, compared to some of the other ideas which could involve multiple people doing things, such as organizing a party for the man and arranging a false lover. We are just looking at materials, a strong enchantment, a couple runes, capturing the man and placing the gauntlet on him, and a key.... "Normally, such a task would cost 500 gold. However,"she looks at Vydar,"I like you and...since you represent my friend, the Serpent Queen, 300 gold."

In Dark Elf Language Setherys says to Vydar,“May I know your name, brother? Few of our blood still walk beneath this sun.”

"Well," Setherys says, rubbing her hands together, "On behalf of the Serpent Queen, which gift would you like our house to bestow on Garolon?"

Amdaeng nods in agreement at the Iron Hand.

Amdaeng rolled the barely more than ten gold in her pouch between her fingers and looked to the others hopefully.
